How long did you bleed after your cervix exam?
I didn't bleed last week but this week my cervix was much softer and my OB said I will bleed. I had my exam yesterday morning and am still bleeding. Not a bright red bleeding, more brown kinda like at the end of your period? It's not constant either.
If I'm still bleeding tomorrow I plan to call my doc just to confirm.

Maybe a day and a half? It looked more like spotting, though.

I jut spotted a little. They say it's totally normal, but if it persists it doesn't hurt to call.

I don't think I bled at all. You're really close to your delivery date so your cervix is probably really sensitive. It's a good sign that the blood is brown! And yes, I would definitely call your OB if the bleeding continues!

@regberadaisy: yeah I'm pretty sure its normal. But never hurts to call the doctor. That's what they're there for!

Just curious about when you all got it done. At the start of my pregnancy, I refused a pap. But during my last appointment (just yesterday) I requested it because I was concerned about my CM color. I'm in my 3rd trimester.

My OB starts internal exams at 36 weeks.
I didn't have a pap at the beginning either because I had one within the last year.
