What have you done so far: Booked a location, ordered a cake, ordered her dress, ordered her invitations and purchased some decorations
What do you have left to do: Purchase more decorations, pay for everything

Date of party: No clue! Probably 11/28 since his actual bday is Thanksgiving!
Theme: Probably Elmo
What have you done so far: Researched outfits and decorations on Etsy
What do you have left to do: Everything! Pick a cake, location (hopefully my sisters house), order an outfit and decorations.
Share any inspiration pics.. No pics. It'll probably just be family so I don't want to go too crazy with wanting all this cute stuff when there won't be many people there.

What have you done so far: Picked a date and let close family know, pinned some ideas on pinterest. And designed his shirt.
What do you have left to do: DIY the decorations (the yellow goal post, ONE banner) his onesie/tshirt, invitation. Food will be all DIY as well, it'll just be close family/friends.

These are adorable! I have a ton of planning to do but luckily his birthday isn't until the end of December!
Date: 12/27
Theme: I don't think I am gonna have a theme, at least not yet.
So far my only plans are it's gonna be at our house, in yard if it's sunny at all, but mostly inside. I am gonna invite about 20 people plus or minus.
Food: hot chocolate bar, chili with toppings bar, other appetizers
Dessert: cupcakes (homemade), a few kinds
Baby's cake: banana with barely sweetened cream cheese frosting (homemade), decorated like curious georgeI just went to a party with a ball pit in a blow up pool and the kids loved it!

I think we'll have a small close friend and family only party after the new year, her birthday is dec. 29th so immediately before or after is problematic. I'd like to make a bigger deal for her, but I'll be 38 weeks pregnant.
Probably serve her favorite foods and a lasagna or something for the grownups.
Thankfully my mom will be here and will likely take care of most of the food. -

Accomplished: ordered invitations, planned menu (gumbo, pasta salad, avocado deviled eggs, goldfish, hot chocolate bar)
To do: everything else! But I guess decorations and an outfit would be the top if that list.These are the invitations I ordered.

What have you done so far: Ordered invites (started addressing them), ordered paper plates & cups, ordered favors, ordered birthday shirt
What do you have left to do: Send invites, order party decor (cupcake wrappers and other printables), get all the printables ready, CLEAN THE HOUSE, determine menu & go shopping, decorate, order birthday present!

Theme: New Years! ( what else for a news years baby! )
What have you done so far: switched theme from "the after party" which would have been a New Year's Day breakfast theme to a early New Year's Eve celebration. I still love the New Year's Day one but DH has to work and no one will switch
What do you have left to do: oh just about everything ha ha!

Can't believe it's already been a year. Not sure what we are going to do for a party, My house Is tiny and we are trying to save money so I don't want to rent some thing out. Plus I think there is already another family member's baby shower that weekend....

What time are everyone's birthdays? I know it's gotta be between naps (so for us right now is 11:30-2:30, or after 4 but for us after 4 seems kinda b/c it's probably gonna be dark already...

I just ordered:
Favors - chocolate covered pretzel rods
Cake - I just need to pick a flavor, and whether I want one color, or an ombre
And then I'm fairly certain I'm just ordering these 3 things from Etsy - banners and cake topper.
I'm gonna DIY those chalk board signs as a digital file, and will play along with a slide show of her pictures on our TV.
And that's really it b/c I really don't have extra budget! I'm looking on Oriental Trading to see if I can get some small Christmas/snow flake crafts for the kids that come to do...

@snowjewelz: Ours was on a budget too, so I made everything. If we were neighbors I'd just lend the decorations to you! I couldn't bring myself to get rid of them, ha. Let me know if you need any ideas. It looks cute so far!

I didn't even consider nap time / party time! I think ours will be more casual though since we'll be watching the game so we'll just do it whenever E's up for it? I was thinking gifts/cake at half time but I have no idea when that will be because game time is still TBD! Makes planning a tad difficult. -
@josina: oh man I know! Gee you wouldn't want people to choose watching the game and blowing out candles for E! Haha! But I guess since it is more casual and flexible you can just play it by ear.
