Random.... did anyone ask for a push present? Or get a push present?
DH got me a beautiful necklace when DS was born- I am wondering if he will get me something when DD is born!

@cheert16: I didn't get anything last time, so I'm not expecting anything this time. Though he did get me a nice Mother's Day gift after Xander was born, which I really appreciated!

@cheert16: I got a diamond and emerald eternity band for my son (May baby) - but I picked it out from our local jeweler. The jeweler ordered me a blank one for this baby and is going to fill it with the Nov or Dec birthstone for whenever he is born. Technically they are push presents but designed and picked out by me

I am not asking for anything... We're spending enough money on this kid! I do want to eventually get a bracelet with her initial on it; but it's not expensive and I haven't decided which one on Etsy I want! DH's best gift to me would be to help me and do whatever I tell him to in the upcoming months!

@winniebee: ohh! I like your style! DS's birthstone is diamond- so I would like to do that and dd's birthstone on a band! Should email my DH pictures

@cheert16: it's very simple but since we wanted multiple children I wanted something I could stack and wear every day

Hi everyone! I just joined, after discovering the site a month or so ago. I am due with first dec 28, I sure hope I end up as a member of this club and NOT Jan 2015! Although I know, he'll be born on his birthday, I have to be patient to discover what that day will be. I have two more days of work this week. Going out at 36 weeks, even though I thought it over a lot about staying longer, it's too much to stay on my feet all day and my work is SO busy at this time of year.

is anyone else's nursery not finished yet? I just have no desire to get it done! Luckily my mom is coming to town for Thanksgiving and she'll help me get it finished this weekend.

@whenoceansrise: ours isn't done. I haven't been on my feet too much so have some things to do. Not stressing over it though

@junebugsmama: Welcome and good for you! Very jealous that you won't be working for long! How has your pregnancy been? We've already had a couple of babies!
@whenoceansrise: I think you are subconsciously waiting for your mom to come help Honestly, newborns don't need their whole room done right away anyway! The one thing I SHOULD do is to open my rock n play that LO will be sleeping in haha. There are also many packages I refuse to open till I need to use!

@snowjewelz: you are probably right! Plus I know my mom will enjoy doing it and it'll make her feel a little more apart of the pregnancy since she's been bummed that she lives so far away

@whenoceansrise: absolutely! I think she would be so happy that you "waited" for her

Ahh! We are having a baby tomorrow!
My dr. really wanted to be the one to deliver me; she is 'on call' tonight and tomorrow and then will be out of state next week so gave me the option to be induced tomorrow. She feels like I will be an easy induction since I am already 3-1/2 cm and haven't felt a thing; and that I will go fast... so here goes!!
I am as ready as we can be, excited and nervous, I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight!
Anyone else induced from 3 cm dilated?

@Mrs.Lilac: oh my goodness! I her little face!!! Sounds like you are doing a great job mama!

@josina: so exciting! Will be thinking of you and looking fwd to updates!

@josina: good luck! My prior induction was from no dilation. Starting at 3cm seems very positive in my non-expert opinion

No push present this go-round for me. DH did get me a very nice diamond pendant earlier this year to cover all of our life events this year. I did request a couple of new charms for my bracelet that I'm sure I'll receive yet this year.

@Mrs.Lilac: What a doll! Congrats!!
@winniebee: Sounds like a great apt, Rest up this weekend!
@junebugsmama: Welcome ! What do you do? I'm a teacher and I'm so ready to leave
@whenoceansrise: We still have her dresser to put together, and so many boxes in there of things we don't need yet, that is in DH honey do list this weekend
@josina: Prayers and best of luck to you! :))))

I just drank 2 glasses of milk and could truly drink 2 more.....and I am.not a milk fan............

@winniebee: That ring is gorgeous! I want to see a picture once you add the second one!
@junebugsmama: Welcome and congratulations on your pregnancy!!! I don't blame you for stopping work early if you are on your feet all day! I luckily sit at a desk all day, which makes it more doable!!
@whenoceansrise: Our nursery still has empty boxes and Xander's pictures in it, haha. I keep forgetting to finish it.... but also I know the baby is going to be in our room for the first couple weeks/months.
@josina: Good luck today!!!
@FaithFertility: I've been craving milk a bunch. I remember being like this at the end of my pregnancy last time too. Maybe baby's bones are growing?? I've been drinking so much more milk than normal!!

I find myself eating so much more now that I'm breastfeeding! I couldn't eat much towards end of pregnancy because I felt so full. Making up for it now though.
