@luckypenny: Glad you enjoyed it! I never had sushi, but only because I didn't end up missing it at all. I did a ton of other things against "the rules" though

With my first I did not have any. With my second, I enjoyed an occasional piece of raw sushi. Glad you were able to enjoy a few pieces tonight.

Yep, a couple times. I stuck mostly to cooked, since thats a lot of what I like anyway (shrimp tempura FTW), but I did eat a few Philly and salmon rolls.

No but I don't eat sushi at all. Lol

Honestly, I'd be worried about cross contamination with even the cooked rolls, which no one that ate cooked rolls mentioned.

Yup, but I ate everything on the "no-no" list in moderation so eh!

    I don't like sushi so I won't be.

That said, I'm being very careful to avoid anything that could be dangerous to my baby.

I ate cooked/veggie sushi a ton but never anything uncooked. It wouldn't have tasted good to me anyway though.

@looch: most places I go the cooked sushi is usually made in the kitchen and raw at the bar. And a lot of cooked sushi is fried! LOL

Nothing raw just cooked rolls and I have only done it a hand full of times and I would on eat like one or two and then stop but when baby gets here I already told DH I want smoked oysters and sushi yum!

@locavore_mama: true, but some takeout paces pack it all together, so in some ways, you just can't be sure, you know?

I think it comes down to knowing your source. Any food has the potential to be either contaminated or cross contaminated.

Yes, several times, with both pregnancies! But like @Alivoo01: I pretty much everything on the 'no-no' list!
