Long time lurker, first time poster!
Location: Pittsburgh
EDD: 2/4/18 (5 days before my bday)
First child? #2, my son will be 2 at the end of June
Any symptoms? Round ligament pain, otherwise still feeling normal
Who have you told? Just my husband, one friend who is also TTC, and the director of our daycare. More will know this weekend as I am going on a college reunion bar tour and it will be pretty obvious when I am not drinking during it. Earlier than I would have liked for people to know.
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? Nervous about how childcare will work (we currently use a mix of daycare and grandparents to watch our son), worried about how this will change the dynamic of our little family of three!

First child? Nope, 3rd
Any symptoms? Pinching/cramping sensations and fatigue
Who have you told? Just DH, so far. I have a few girls nights coming up in the next few weeks though so I'm still trying to figure out how to manage those without having to tell everyone so early.
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? I'm honestly a bit overwhelmed and terrified by the idea of having three kids. I'm also not a young mom so I'm worried about the increased risks associated with my age.

First child? 2nd. My daughter will be 3&1 when the baby arrives.
Any symptoms? Slightly sore breasts.
Who have you told? Just my husband and this board.
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? Trying not to get too excited about it this early on. Worried about the myriad of things that go wrong in early pregnancy.

Another longtime lurker finally joining!

EDD: Feb 4
First child? Yup!
Any symptoms? Some pinching on occasion.
Who have you told? Only my husband. And now this board!
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? Lots of nerves. My first appointment isn't until June 22, so lots of "hope I'm doing this right" until then. Which is mostly why I'm joining up!

Well, I may have posted too soon. While I had a positive pregnancy test on Sunday, last night I started spotting and this morning I woke up with more bleeding (light, but rather like the last day of my period). I'm going to the doctor to get checked out, but feeling pretty down at the moment.

EDD: 8th February.
First child?: #2, DD will be 4 in September.
Any symptoms?: a little cramping, growing pains.
Who have you told?: Only Dh.
Current thoughts/feelings/fears?: Worrying my test lines aren't dark enough, worrying about early miscarriage...I had a loss a couple of years ago.

@Mrs. Oreo: so far so good! Hanging out at 5w2d and feeing tired and cramps, but otherwise okay. Thanks for checking in!
@SeeYouTater: how are you doing??
pea / 5 posts
@illumina: @Mrs. Oreo: @LadyDi: thanks all! The nurse practitioner I spoke with over the weekend essentially said it could be totally normal or could be a sign of a miscarriage, and she had me come by the office this morning for a blood draw. She said she didn't think my symptoms were cause for any emergency concern but that they'd follow up once they had the blood results. So fingers crossed, and I'll know more later this week.
pea / 5 posts
@Mrs. Oreo: I'm supposed to call them at the end of the day to see if the results are done, otherwise will be in the morning. I still have red/brown residue (for lack of a better description) when I wipe, and the occasional single spot, but nothing close to the full pantyliner I had Saturday morning.

@SeeYouTater: fingers crossed for you. If it's any reassurance, when I've had a chemical/early loss, once the bleeding started it was heavy and didn't stop for days so I hope this sounds like something more positive for you!

Well ladies, my blood draw is showing negative for pregnancy. Also, I found out I have A- blood, so I'm going to need to take RhoGam shots to prevent future complications. So, with that, I'm out for this cycle.

First child? Yes!!!
Any symptoms? I had really really sore breasts after ovulation, but I always get that. At 11 DPO it started to go away, and now I just have a hint of tenderness, this has caused me to worry a little, but I've heard of some women having this happen and everything was fine. I also have some very mild cramping, and feeling of fullness, like a balloon is being inflated inside my uterus.
Who have you told? Husband, mom, and best friend
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? I'm really early, so I'm super scared of having a chemical. I tested at 13DPO on a whim and the frer was positive right away. My beta for 13 DPO was 108, and I'm going back Thursday for another blood draw, but the nurse was really pleased with my first beta. I will have missed my period on Friday. It took us 14 months to conceive so I guess I'm just really nervous.

First child? No, my son is 2.5
Any symptoms? Nausea, pinching/tingles in uterus, full feeling
Who have you told? My husband, a friend, and HB
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? Terrified this one will end in miscarriage again. I just want this little poppy seed to stay in there!! Also a little nervous how it will be with two kiddos, but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself.

First child? 2nd
Any symptoms? round ligament pain/pinching. really tired - 5pm hits and I'm ready for bed!
Who have you told? some close friends and family - will tell my husbands parents tonight.
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? i feel like the normal ones.. miscarriages and just hoping for a healthy baby. Also worried how I'll handle 2 + working full time. I know it can be done - and we'll manage - but the unknown is often scary.

@dcrumlish29: welcome! I hear you on being tired. I have two already and I am BEAT by 5pm. And cranky. Nausea kicked in today and it's terrible!

@bushelandapeck: yes the child wears me out! plus work is getting ready to kick up into high gear for the qtr... and to add to it I'm starting school in July! I know I'm nuts! No morning sickness yet - but I was reading my pregnancy journal from my first child and I didn't have any morning sickness until week 6.. so I'm bracing myself for next week!!

My beta went up to 303! So it went up 180% ! The nurse said to get another draw on Saturday and Monday. They said they do them till I get to 1500...and then maybe I get an ultrasound where they try to date me?
pomelo / 5720 posts
@Tionn3: that sounds fantastic! I've never done betas so I'm always confused as to what is good or not but 180% is amazing! I hope they do an ultrasound for you
kiwi / 680 posts
@bushelandapeck: I was a little confused too, because the nurse said they like to see at least a 50% increase but doubling would mean you would have a 100% increase. Either way, the nurse said it looked great =]

EDD: February 18 based on ovulation
First child? 2nd
Any symptoms? Tired, gassy/bloated, hungry
Who have you told? DH, 2 friends & now HB
I'm telling myself to be excited and not so anxious as we had a miscarriage a few months ago. I know I'll be happier once we pass the first tri & eagerly anticipating finding out the gender early due to AMA & history of loss. I've already scheduled my first ultrasound/dating scan for 7/3 & follow up ok 7/21.

@periwinklebee: aww, thank you!! I have my fingers crossed that we all have very healthy, boring, uneventful pregnancies
kiwi / 636 posts
@theotherstark: yup! But I already know I'm planning on a c-section so we'll see what my dating scan says next month! LO1 was an emergency c-section & it was not fun having to heal both vaginally & surgically.
@periwinklebee: thank you so much! Yay for rainbow babies!

I'm so excited to be joking you ladies!
Location: Atlanta
EDD: 2/22
First child? No, this is #3! We have two boys, 4 and 20 months
Any symptoms? Just some cramping and a feeling of fullness. With my other two pregnancies I had super sore boobs from the very beginning, so I'm a little nervous that I don't have that.
Who have you told? I've told two close friends and will tell DH when he gets home from a trip later today. I feel so bad I told friends before him, but I was dying! And I really didn't want to tell him over the phone.
Current thoughts/feelings/fears? Just the general "hope everything is ok" fears. We've been so lucky to have two healthy pregnancies, deliveries and kiddos and I'm just hopeful things go well this time around too!
