I'm so excited and a little nervous. I'm 7 weeks. Anyone know what I can expect? Transvaginal or regular? Heartbeat?

I had a regular (abdominal) ultrasound and I did see the heartbeat. If they do it transvaginal you really will be able to see the heartbeat. Good luck! Excited for you!

1st pregnancy: transvaginal at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat perfectly
2nd pregnancy: didn't have first appointment until 10 weeks, regular ultrasound and barely saw the heart beat but heard it loud and clear (:
Good luck!!

Mine is today too! With DD1 it was transvaginal and we saw the heartbeat, but I'm not sure if this will be the same. Good luck!

@CatchAFallingStar: yay!! Exciting!! Usually still too too early to hear the heartbeat. As for method depends on your ob. I've never had a transvaginal ultrasound.
