My SIL had a baby two months after me, but she said she didn't want to steal my first baby thunder (it was her 5th) so she didn't tell me until she was like 6 months along.

My BFF is due the month before I am. It's fun to have someone IRL to talk about pregnancy/babies with !

My SIL and I were pregnant at the same time. Out of our good friend group, there were 7 babies born in the 4 months following LO, so yeah. We were pregnant together.

When I was pregnant with E I had 3 other pregnant friends! And 2 friends who had just had babies Plus my SIL was pregnant with #3! It was a blast
Idk anyone who is pregnant with me right now IRL...
coconut / 8234 posts
Yes! My friend and I were pregnant with baby girls at the same time. Even though we live in different states it was fun to do pregnancy talk, especially since we have similar ideas about parenting.

My sil is due 3 months before I am... But we're not super close so we only talk babies during family get togethers.

My best friend and I are both TTC. It would be so much fun to be pregnant at the same time so I'm really hoping we both get knocked up soon!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
Yes, but they were at the tail end of their pregnancies while I was at the beginning, so it wasn't as fun as it could have been.
nectarine / 2134 posts
@Mrs. 64: Two of my good friends are also TTC too -- it would be so fun to be able to go through the whole process with a friend IRL. But it's actually been nice to go through all the initial TTC questions together too (even if just basics like what pre-natal vitamin to take, etc).
@ArtBee: Congrats -- how fun!!

Yes, a good friend of mine is due just over 2 weeks before me! She lives out of state, but it's fun to stay in touch on Facebook and talk about everything coming up.

With #1 I was due 3 weeks before a coworker. We weren't/aren't close, but it was nice to have someone going through the same thing(both of us were pregnant with our first)
This time I am due 2 months after my SIL, so it'll be nice to have the kids close in age. Also, a good friend is due a week after me. We aren't super close, but it's still nice

Yep. My neighbor and I were due 4 weeks apart. It was really fun. Our girls are BFFs.

I'm just about to seriously start TTC after years of waiting for the perfect time. My sister scheduled her second in vitro in a couple of months so we could be pregnant at the same time. (Assuming I have amazing luck.) My sister scheduled her first in vitro after I announced my wedding date and delivered my neice a few months before my wedding. Meh....

My best friend is due 11 days before me! It's been really fun to go through this together.

Something is in the water in my family. My sis is 20weeks with her second, my SIL (bro's wife) is 11 weeks with her 2nd, I'm 10 weeks with my first. And this past weekend, we just found out my SIL (dh's bro's wife) is pg with their 2nd and they are 6weeks. My baby will have a lot of close cousins!

Both my sister she I were pregnant together for about 4 months! I was in my second tri when she had my nephew! Now she is on her second and my SIL is pg with her first and they're due 6 weeks apart!

One of my best friends is due a week before me! It's her second, so I can pester her with all my newbie questions, haha. I also just found out that another woman who is sort of on that border between acquaintance and friend is due a couple weeks after me, so maybe we will bond a bit more over the next few months

One of my closest friends is due 3 weeks before me! She lives super close to me-- 3 blocks away, too, so we are planning to hang out a lot during our mat leaves (and maybe beyond, she is considering being a SAHM too). It's been great having someone so close to talk about stuff with.
@Mrs. Pen: My sister and I always talked about how fun it would be to be pregnant and have babies at the same time. Her son is two and a half now, though, so if I can't have a baby the same age, I can at least get TONS of hand me downs!
@Honeydew: Um... whoa! That is a LOT of babies! How lucky is your LO having so many cousins like that!

I've only been pregnant with friends and family. When DD was born, my sister, SIL and BIL's girlfriend all gave birth within 5 months of each other. Now my sister is also pregnant (due 4 months earlier) and so is my neighbor (2 weeks earlier).

My aunt (who is just a couple of years older than me), and my friend were pregnant at the same time as me.

2 girls I used to work with and I are all due within 3 weeks! We're all at different jobs now (but were working together when we found out), but its still fun to catch up and talk about how things are progressing.

My BFF who I call my "twinner" started trying a few months after us and pretty much right away (2nd month I think?) she IM'd me on gchat one morning and said "Twinner, I believe I am pregnant." I went through so many emotions... jealousy, excitement, fear! And then 2 weeks later found out I was knocked up! HAHA! I cannot imagine doing this without her. We've always talked daily (even though we live nowhere near to each other) and it would be so hard to not have her to discuss everything with. Especially because we're so close in timing. It's the absolute best!
My aunt was pregnant for about 2 or 3 months of my pregnancy too but it was first tri so I think I told her about a week before she gave birth.

With DS one of my close friends was due 4 months after me. She just gave birth to her second right before I got my BFP with my second
My cousin and I are actually sharing the same due date! She is older and this is her first. We aren't really close though.

Yep! One of my best friends from college. Our babies were born exactly a week apart. They actually switched due dates.LOL

@foodnerd81- I'm truly beaming from ear to ear, because I couldn't have imagined all the women in both sides of my family are pregnant at the same time.

A good friend was 7 weeks ahead of me and it has been fun. The babies are in the same daycare class also!

One of my best friends was pregnant the same time I was with our oldest kids and then in the adoption process the same time I was pregnant the second time around. It was so nice to have someone who understood and shared many of the issues I went through with my pregnancies, and it's even better now because our kids are also best friends!
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
I am now and I'm excited about it. Just need to get out of the first tri so I can share in public!

Yes, my sister-in-law and I were preg at the same time. I was excited at first, but it turned out to be a nightmare. Anytime my mom bought something for Sadie, my brother got mad/jealous. Ugh.
pomegranate / 3768 posts
Yep, my bestie since I was five years old told me she was pregnant. A few days later I found out I was too! Our LOs are exactly a month a part. She has a boy and I have a girl. We loved being preggy at the same time!
