I think mine is more impatient than me...but he doesn't have to go through labor! Haha. He asks her everyday if she's going to come out yet!

He was very anxious in the week leading up to the due date and then once I went past it. Everytime I got up to pee he would literally JUMP out of bed and ask if I was in labor lol. I kept saying "I WILL TELL YOU IF I"M IN LABOR", but he would still ask again in a few hours.

it seems to vary depending on the day. he's been much more understanding with my being sick and pain than in the beginning (maybe it's more visual with a huge belly?).
he also said to my belly last night, "you're making your mom really sick. and you're fully baked, I think she said. so it's time to come out now. you don't have to wait anymore, and I really want to meet you!" which I thought was so adorable. he doesn't talk "to" her that often!
I think he's getting more and more excited as the days go by!

@Mrsbells: If I go late I can already see my husband being super annoying like this and asking me things like "what's taking so long??". He already talks about how he's so ready for the baby to be here. I'm only 28.5 weeks and had a pre term labor scare so I'm very focused on keeping this kid in there thank you very much!!

@MrsBells LOL mine asks that too but at nighttime..he sleeps like a rock! I get up for hours at a time, watch tv, go on my phone, ate graham crackers in bed one night...he doesn't notice at all!!

He was business as usual. He hides stress better than I do. It wasn't until I said, "I think I'm feeling contractions," that he finally acted excited/nervous.

He was very excited and impatient....
In his words:
"The best way to describe how I am feeling right now is to think of yourself strapped into a roller coaster, and you have been climbing that initial hill for 9 months,. I have the excitement and fear that you feel as you reach the apex. Things are going to get chaotic and fast soon."
Every time I had any sort of pain or winced or anything he'd immediately ask if I was having a contraction. It was kind of annoying, but cute.

Mine was nesting and finishing up some projects around the house. LO came early so we didn't have time to get too impatient.

I really don’t think DH will act any differently. We still have 5 weeks until my DD but every time I wince or blow out a deep breath from a pain or a sudden squirm from the little guy he just ignores it! We'll see though!

He was pretty calm. A little too calm, in fact.
On the day I went into labor, he was at work and I had been monitoring my contractions all day and a friend had come over to sit with me. Well, when they were five minutes apart at 6:30pm I told him he HAD to be home at 8:00. After 8:00 came and went I called him. Where was he that was so important that he had to be late to go to the hospital with me? Oh, at the pub with a friend. I guess that's what I get for marrying an Englishman?!

At 5 weeks away from DD mine is already starting to annoy me. He's been extra protective lately and doesn't like me driving around and going places by myself or with the kids. He thinks I should stay at home most of the time. I'm a SAHM so I like to get out during the day or I feel cooped up. I can only imagine how irritating he will be as we get closer.

I think he was ready to be done, but he was definitely more relxed than me. With #2, I went into labor at work. He actually had no issues with me driving out to pick up lunch for both of us and took his own sweet time finishing up his work to take me to the hospital that afternoon. He even asked me "What's the rush?" in reference to us leaving work. Lol!

Well with my first he was stressed/paranoid/defeated (he got very unexpectedly let go from his job exactly one week before my due date). With this pregnancy he is in panic mode but more of a "are we sure we can handle two kids" sort of way; I'm due 9/16 but am being induced this coming Sunday 9/9 unless LO decides to come between now and then (which is a good possibility).
