I would probably cry, LOL. DS is just 4.5 months and we aren't anywhere near ready for #2. And I'm headed back to work in a few weeks, so that would just be embarrassing.
What about you?

It's like I'm the Virgin Mary!!
Haha, okay sorry. That was my first thought.
If it wasn't for that, I would freak.out.

Happy!
We're not ready to TTC yet, and it would be super hard on us because we want LO to grow up a little bit and be more independent because I get crazy bad migraines when I'm pregnant so I need her to be able to play by herself while I lay there and watch. Plus I'd like to lose more weight. But I know we'd work it out, and I wouldn't be able to help but being happy about having another baby.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@mediagirl: LOL, the odds would be pretty low for me to be pregnant too, but I had a tummy ache last night and feel "off" this morning and my imagination started running away from me!
@artbee: Awww! How are your migranes post-surgery?
GOLD / wonderful grape / 20289 posts
@winniebee: Well, before surgery they were daily, and surgery is meant to help by 50%, and it def did. But that still means that I have them multiple times a week. Better then daily though!

I would be so happy. Infertility takes its toll and I'm so ready to move on.
nectarine / 2522 posts
i'm onto TTC cycle #3 so it would be a dream come true, I probably wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry...

I'd be a little freaked out, DD is only 7 months old and we wanted to wait a little longer, but I'd totally deal with it.
GOLD / squash / 13464 posts
Well I AM pregnant right now. : ) So I guess I would be one of those people who get pregnant with two babies with two different due dates? That would freak me out!
I mostly just responded to this thread so I could tell you I'm obsessed with your new avatar. Tyler is so cute!!!!

Hahaha I got pregnant when Lo had just turned 1.. Was shocked!
eggplant / 11824 posts
I would cry, and not with happiness! Just thinking about it makes me feel nervous and a little sick, yipes!
honeydew / 7230 posts
I would consider it some sort of miracle, as we've been TTC for a long time with no luck. Also, I'm only on CD 12 so I think that would be impossible!
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
I would be ecstatic at first, but then I'd panic...my 21 month old is having a tough time of it now with sleeping, so the thought of another 2 years of not sleeping wouldn't sit well.
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
I would start calling DH K-Fed cause that would mean his sperm broke through the condom (he would be really proud) and I would actually be really excited!
squash / 13199 posts
I would be in MAJOR panic mode. LO is 5 months old and we are not ready for another baby
bananas / 9227 posts
@mediagirl: Hahah! I actually LOLed for real! I would think the same thing!
pomegranate / 3244 posts
We are waiting to TTC until I finish school and we are both in more stable jobs. So I would be freaked out and not know what to do. It would be incredibly stressful.

I would freak out a little bit, but deep down inside I would be SOOO Happy!!! DH.....I think he would have a heart attack....seriously...
cherry / 241 posts
At first, I would be terrified. However, I think I could warm up to the idea. In fact, I think I would be really excited after I got used to the idea. It would definitely not be ideal timing, but we could make it work. DH would have a panic attack.
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
Haha, I was in panic mode when I found out in August! But now I'm ok!
nectarine / 2039 posts
@winniebee: I would freak out and have to go back to work tomorrow to get enough hours for another maternity leave. Then I'd pull my hair out figuring out how we could afford childcare for 2 when that time comes. It would be soo financially stressful.
pomegranate / 3383 posts
I would totally freak out and be banging my head against the wall. I've never been interested in having 2 under 2. I would be slightly happy that I wouldn't have to go back to work for that much until getting more time off!
GOLD / eggplant / 11517 posts
@MamaMoose: Is that a real thing? Getting pregnant when you are already pregnant?
honeydew / 7917 posts
I would be really confused since auntie flo is here this month. I would like to start trying now that my LO is 17 months old but I want to wait until after my bff's wedding in April. I'm her MOH and want to be there for her.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
DD is 14 months. We are just starting to talk about timing for #2 but agree, we should wait another 6 months or so (and holy cow thats scary to think we would be TTC or NTNT in 6 months).
So, if we got BFP #2 now, I think we would have the same reaction from when we got surprise BFP#1 with DD. We were excited but obviously scared!
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
We just started TTC for #1, so I would be so, so thrilled. The timing would be perfect if it happens this month (announcements at Christmas time, have the baby before the summer gets really hot, but my mom who is a teacher could come and help me out over the summer.)
But I'm still waiting to O, so I know it couldn't be right this second. In a few days though...:)
nectarine / 2797 posts
I'd be super stressed! LO is only three months old, and DH and I agreed to wait until she is 2 at the soonest to TTC again.
pineapple / 12234 posts
Honestly, I would be okay with it even though DD is close to 4 months. We'd need a bigger house but we want to sell our house anyway. I love my LO's so much but hopefully I wouldn't go crazy with a third so soon!
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
right now? Shocked, stressed beyond belief.
Just got laid off, trying to finish renovations in new house, living between two houses and M is only 5 months old?
Yea, stressed beyond belief. Can you imagine trying to find a job in this economy and pregnant in a male dominant field?
After that? Joy & happiness. We know we want more than one so being pregnant would be great. And the timing will suck beyond belief but we'll make it work like we always do.

@mediagirl: Haha in the same boat. We could not handle another one mentally or financially right now (my son is 6 months) so we are practicing the only 100% BC method!
clementine / 878 posts
I'd probably throw up and cry. Like you, our LO is 4.5 months old. And I'm not convinced I'm going to do it ever again. Good thing I have the Mirena - so I'm set for the next 5 years!
pomegranate / 3980 posts
I would freak out and cry.... I can't get pregnant before lo is 9 months old because of the c-section (because I really don't want to go through that again). Besides that we are barely making it right now.
pineapple / 12526 posts
I would jump off a freakin bridge. C was HIGHLY unplanned and another unplanned pregnancy when she's only 6 months old?! I would die. Plus, we're not even sure we're ever going to have another baby AND I have a Mirena.
clementine / 957 posts
We are actively TTC so I think I'd be a giant mixed bag of emotions! We have no children so it'd be our first. I get anxious even thinking about it but we are definitely as ready as we'll ever be! Overall I think I'd be really happy and excited though.
The only thing is that I'd be stressed about work, a long commute (45min-1hr carpool with DH), morning sickness (at work!) and then childcare! I'll have to go back to work after maternity leave so that stresses me out!!
kiwi / 614 posts
Scared. DD is only 8 wks and while I would like our children to be close in age, I do not want Irish twins!
Also, we are moving back to the US in January and I'm sure I would be shit out of luck to find health insurance that would cover my "pre-existing condition". I would probably have to return to France to have the baby and that would be a major organizational headache!
pomegranate / 3716 posts
Happy... and then commence major freak out! We are TTC, so of course it would be a good thing.
