So, I know many couples who find out the gender of their baby but keep it a secret to the rest of the world and I always wondered how hard this was.
If YOU know what you're having, isn't it easy to slip up and use the appropriate pronoun? Or, do you lie to people and say that you don't know?

I'm interested in this too. And interested in the logic behind finding out yourself and not telling others. It seems weird to me. I don't mean that In a judgy way...It's just not something I could see us doing.

My hubby knew the gender of 2.0 and I didn't... I didn't want to til birth. I let him know though under the condition that he tell no one. And everyone knew of our plan. Sure some people thought it was weird... Some people also doubted that he could keep it a secret and not slip up... But it worked out really well. My hubby though is super good at being ambiguous and keeping secrets. It depends on the couple.

We found out but kept it a secret. We told people we were Team Green, but really we found out we were having a girl pretty early on. It wasn't something we'd planned on doing and it's definitely not for everyone!
I think we did it because when I was pregnant, I felt like everyone wanted to know everything and give their opinion. We are pretty private and it was nice to have something that was just for my husband and I, at least for a few months. Also, we were trying to avoid getting a ton of pink stuff!
I was so proud - we did not slip up once! The only time we sort of gave it away was when a good friend guessed that we knew and weren't telling. I was so surprised, I didn't even deny it. I just laughed!

I could never do that. I'm horrible with secrets! Next time around we'll be team green, and even we won't know.

Hmmmm we were team green and I REALLY enjoyed being able to tell people we didn't know... but enjoyed even more telling people we were keeping our name choices a secret SO I can imagine I'd REALLY like knowing and not telling.
I'm just kinda mean like that. lol

You know how good I am at keeping secrets. It was amazing that we didn't tell anyone our LO's name. HAHa. Longest week of my life!
