Oh I thought of another. "Don't call the baby it!"
Really? Try saying "he or she" or "the baby" all the time. "Well when the baby comes we will out the baby in the baby's crib in the baby's room..."
Fwiw, we were TG with number 1 and found out with number 2. I had more fun not knowing. I think because we had another boy everyone was a little meh in their reaction. If we have a third I don't want to know!

@jedeve: Actually, the "it" thing was the thing I liked least about being TG. *I* didn't want to call the baby 'it' but it is tiring to always say he or she. I was so sure it was a boy that I started calling it 'he' after a while... I have a girl. Whoops.

I got the comments about not being able to bond with the baby unless you know the sex - i just thought that was so strange! This thing is literally kicking the inside of me, how can it not feel real and like something I could bond with!? Regardless of the bits between it's legs?
FWIW I LOVED being team green. Finding out I had a son after L & D was a huge rush!!

@lovehoneybee: When I told one of my coworkers I was pregnant, she asked me what am I pregnant with. I responded, "a Yorkshire Terrier," with a straight face. I was 8 weeks, so it wasn't like she was asking about the sex!
So far, it's been the planner line. Yes, because I totally can't plan my baby's nursery or buy any clothes! My buddies are surprised the nursery is already planned, and it's not grey or yellow

@jedeve: oh yes, or anytime you say he/she ppl are like oh did you find out? Or that must be what you actually want?!?

@ScarletBegonia: yes, such a rush and a great reward lol! At 37 weeks I dreamed baby was a boy and so when he came out I was like oh it's a boy I knew it was gonna be lol but it was still crazy to think that he actually was!

Yes to the planner line! We were TG with our first, and friends and family just could. not. stand. it. My husband and I loved being TG and were planning to do so again this time around but there was a while we thought we were going to lose the baby, so we found out. It feels so weird to know, to say "he" instead of "it".

I never understand why people care so much whether someone else finds out the sex of their baby, weird. I was not TG because I wanted to know and I got so many stupid comments from people about how I should have been TG because there are so few surprises in life etc. Um, I was pretty surprised when I found out haha. Can't win with people.
