Your doctor may have some answers for you, but I feel like every birth is so unique it is sort of impossible to predict what you might have happen. The fact that you were induced alone-- I don't know how that affects things. Like I was induced and labored 18 hours and had a c section. Who knows how long I would've labored without the c section and who knows how long I would've labored (or when) if I'd not been induced. So if I have another I feel like it is just a crap shoot of how long it might be or when I might go into labor (if at all).

I feel like those sorts of statistics (second baby may come a little sooner and a little faster) apply mostly to women who go into labor naturally and have uncomplicated vaginal births.

I just went and read your story - wow. I really applaud your bravery, and I hope your current pregnancy is the one that leads to a healthy baby.

@Torchwood: so we lost our little girl at 20 weeks. I was induced and had to push. I didn't have to get to the full 10, but still had my water break and had to push.

With lo 2 I definitely showed earlier and my symsymptoms were more intense in some ways. Some was exactly the same. I didn't know what to expect past 20 weeks, so that was nice for me to have that unexpectedness in some ways.

I stressed about delivering. Turns out lo 2 was breech and didn't Turn at all. I had to have a csection. I had people trying to talk me out of it, but having that same memory of pushing was not what I wanted. So, luckily for me, it was decided for me.

My milk came in two days after I delivered both times.

Baby 1 (DD)-
11 hrs of labor after water breaking at 40+1 with an hour and a half pushing. Was showing at 13 weeks.
Baby 2 (DS)-
14 hrs of on and off stalling labor after water breaking at 38 with a full minute of pushing. Actually had to have pitocin with this one. Was showing at 25 weeks. Was able to hide it til 34 weeks.

Both pregnancies and labors were completely different
