Hellobee Boards

We're going with a Paris and hot air balloon theme in Babygirl's room. The walls are already a nice muted tan, so we're going to keep that and then just incorporate coral and mint throughout. These prints are my inspiration, and I'm building off of these.

We have a gender neutral nursery for LO 1 and we are going to move this baby into the nursery and move LO 1 into a "big girl" room. The walls are grey and the curtains are yellow and white. We have an elephant theme. I love everything about the nursery and am excited for another baby to use it. I feel a little guilty that this baby is getting a hand me down room!

@brady80: We're doing something very similar! Our office/guest room is black, white, and gray. It's becoming our guest room/nursery and we're adding in yellow through the crib sheets, changing pad sheets, fabric drawers, and bunting or decorations.

We're keeping the furniture mostly the same. The hutch is coming off the desk and thus it's becoming a changing "table." The books are coming out of the bookcases (moving into our room) and being replaced with fabric drawers for clothing. The twin bed is staying in there. The only new piece of future we're buying is the crib; and maybbeee a glider but I don't think it will fit

Over the weekend I've made arrangements to buy a crib & mattress, 4 ribba picture ledges, a dresser, a navy wingback chair & a 5x7 white rug, all for a grand total of 230$. also picked out all the prints I want as well as priced out all the other decor/craft supplies for the room. Somebody stop me!

@travellingbee: very cute! I plan to get the nursery done over Thanksgiving break when my ILs are here to help, Thursday-Sunday. I hope I'm not the only one with the "nursery" in shambles it's full of gifts but not organized at all.

@DesertDreams88: I didn't have much to do since it was already a nursery from my son. I just did a little redecorating and reorganized the baby stuff. I do still have some gifts to put away though so it isn't totally ready.

I am slowly making progress in Babygirl's room. We finally got all the furniture put together and in its place, so I can start putting stuff on the walls. This weekend I made and hung the mobile.

I went with 110 two inch dots. They were just shipped out today; I can't wait to get them and install them on the wall.

Another kijiji score tonight. I got a white ikea sundvik crib, which is the crib I originally wanted. and I managed to score it for just 40$. Go me!

(I figure I'll just resell the other crib I got originally - but even if you added the cost of the two cribs together I've still spent less than buying retail. )

Here it is, finally "finished"! Yellow and gray in order to be gender-neutral for hopefully future babies. Formerly our guest room, kept most of the same furniture and just changed purposes (bookcases->"dresser", desk-> changing table). Our guest bed is still in there but not pictured. I figure it would be good for guests (baby can sleep with us), or sometimes sleeping in baby's room when they're sick or napping.
