@Mrs. J: woo! Eat some tasty stuff. Ha.

How many weeks are you: 31+6
    Due date: 7/29
    Baby's gender: team green
Symptoms you're dealing with now: short temper, sore tummy, some hip pain while sleeping at night
Innie or outtie: extremely out and has been for a long time. It was like when I got pregnant my belly button started the journey out. Haha. It seems even more out than last time.
    Rings on or off: On
Lately I've been craving: nothing. Club soda
Stretch marks: Not sure because I already had a lot from before. I don't think any new ones yet.
Braxton Hicks: nope, not that I can tell.
Hospital bag packed: No way. Still so much time left.
Baby's room: done. Reusing same one starting around 6 months. Just transitioned our daughter to her new room and a big bed this past week.
    Baby shower: No.
How is DH/DW/Partner doing: thought we had less time left than we do. Haha. He wants pregnancy over for a little while.
Most excited about: finally meeting this baby!
Most nervous/worried about: how the birth will go and if I'll go into labour naturally.
Any birth plan specifics (RCS, med free, VBAC etc..): Hoping for a med-free vbac. Managed a med free Labour up until the c section was prepped last time, aside from the induction oxytocin of course.

How many weeks are you: 36 weeks today
    Due date: 6/30
    Baby's gender: Baby boy
Symptoms you're dealing with now: very tired, indigestion, sleep issues, pelvic pressure, very swollen
Innie or outtie: It's basically flat. Not sticking out but I wouldn't call it an innie anymore
Rings on or off: Off for the most part. I wake up swollen so I don't even try. I could wear my wedding band still but it's more comfortable without
Lately I've been craving: still sweets. Candy mostly
Stretch marks: I have a few but I think those are just old ones from my first pregnancy resurfacing.
    Braxton Hicks: occasionally .
Hospital bag packed: Nope. Should probably start making a list.
Baby's room: The crib is set up and the glider is in there, but we haven't bought any decorative stuff...
    Baby shower: Nope.
How is DH/DW/Partner doing: I think he's over me being pregnant too.
Most excited about: meeting baby boy and seeing what he'll look like
Most nervous/worried about: labor/delivery, and whether we're ever going to come up with a name
Any birth plan specifics (RCS, med free, VBAC etc..): no specifics. I'm open to an epidural and just hoping I won't have to be induced again this time.

Stretch marks: not any new ones yet and the old ones are hardly visible! I've been using a lot of cream this time
Braxton Hicks: not sure! I'm feeling stuff and think I'm having the odd contractions!
Hospital bag packed: I have everything at home, just haven't made the bag yet! Am working on the list
Baby's room: he'll be sleeping in our room first and then eventually move him in with Lo1

Most excited about: finally meeting this baby

How many weeks are you: 34 + 5

    Due date: July 11

    Baby's gender: Boy

Symptoms you're dealing with now: Tired and generally starting to feel pretty over being pregnant!

    Innie or outtie: Innie

    Rings on or off: On

Lately I've been craving: Sugar and carbs. So healthy I would also kill for a margarita right now!!

    Stretch marks: Nope

Braxton Hicks: Yes - and it's so strange! I never had any during my first pregnancy.

Hospital bag packed: No. And you would think I would learn my lesson and get on top of this. I had to pack my bag during contractions that were less than 5 minutes apart last time!

Baby's room: We're working on my daughter's big girl room. The nursery will basically stay the same once baby moves out of our room.

    Baby shower: Nope.

How is DH/DW/Partner doing: I think he is also pretty over me being pregnant. I've been pretty sick (caught my toddler's colds) this pregnancy, so he's been picking up a lot of slack around the house.

Most excited about: Meeting baby! And no longer being pregnant.

Most nervous/worried about: My daughter. I'm not so much worried about having a newborn. I know it will be hard. But I worry about how she will adjust. She's my little buddy and we do everything together.

Any birth plan specifics (RCS, med free, VBAC etc..): Healthy baby, healthy mommy. Epidural asap.

How many weeks are you: 36 + 2
    Due date: July 1
    Baby's gender: Girl
Symptoms you're dealing with now: Feeling large! Not sure how much more room there is in there for her to grow. Occasional low back pain, insomnia, and heartburn.
    Innie or outtie: Outtie
Rings on or off: Currently off but they still fit. Its a daily decision if I put them on and I honestly just forgot to try them on this morning.
Lately I've been craving: Crushed ice water, ice cream, avocados
Stretch marks: A few on my hips
Braxton Hicks: Not that I can feel
Hospital bag packed: No. On my list to do this week!
Baby's room: Furniture is in, put hand me down clothes in the drawers, waiting for sheets to arrive for crib but baby will be in our room in beginning anyway.
Baby shower: One big friends and family one last month. Having a work shower next week.
How is DH/DW/Partner doing: He's nervous for the life change (this is our first) and is asking a million questions of how things will be when baby is here. He has picked up my slack around the house and is probably ready for me to be helpful again, ha ha.
    Most excited about: Meeting baby!
Most nervous/worried about: When and how labor will go. The unknown!!
Any birth plan specifics (RCS, med free, VBAC etc..): Med free, little intervention, healthy mama, healthy baby and daddy not passed out.

How many weeks are you: 36 exactly

    Due date: July 3

    Baby's gender: Boy

Symptoms you're dealing with now: Tons of pressure down low, zingers to cervix with every step, heartburn.

Innie or outtie: Outtie, which has never happened!

Rings on or off: Still on. I have my grandma's ring for if I need it!

Lately I've been craving: Sweets. Buddy the Elf over here.

Stretch marks: None that I've noticed.

Braxton Hicks: All the time. Real contractions too.

Hospital bag packed: Just threw one together over the weekend.

Baby's room: All set. He's just taking DS2's old room (DS2 moved into DS1's room about 5 weeks ago).

Baby shower: Not that I know of. Showers for subsequent children are not typically done around here, though part of me wishes someone had done something for me given what we've been through. Oh well.

How is DH/DW/Partner doing: Nervous for delivery, as am I. I think he's ready for me to be done being pregnant forever

Most excited about: Getting to take our son home with us.

Most nervous/worried about: A healthy delivery. Though I know chances of everything going well are high, my anxiety is still there. Also....juggling 3 kids and work!

Any birth plan specifics (RCS, med free, VBAC etc..): Just get him here safely. I've had vaginal births with epidurals for every delivery, so I'm hoping for the same.

How many weeks are you: 33+4
    Due date: July 21
    Baby's gender: girl
Symptoms you're dealing with now: exhausted. Low blood pressure that causes me to pass out if standing too long
    Innie or outtie: Outtie
    Rings on or off: On
Lately I've been craving: A freaking turkey sandwich
    Stretch marks: Nope
Braxton Hicks: Yes all the time
Hospital bag packed: No but working on it this week or next
Baby's room: We're working on it slowly. Trying to figure out organization first as we are in a one bedroom until our lease is up. Not a big deal because it's quite spacious but clothing organization is taking a while to figure out (and I can only do a little at a time before I get light headed)
    Baby shower: Yes
How is DH/DW/Partner doing: excited and protective over me. He is ready to meet baby

Most excited about: Meeting baby! no longer being pregnant and being able to go to the gym again, drinking wine and eating a turkey sand which 😜
Most nervous/worried about: labor not going smoothly or having some complication, baby coming too early (I'm pretty sure she is ready to be out!)
Any birth plan specifics: trying med free, as natural as possible but with healthy baby and momma

@winniebee: lol us too! Although I'm not really that crazy about either name. With our DD, we just knew. I guess I've been waiting for that feeling this time and it's not really happening. Boy names are hard.

  10. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@BeatlesFan629: Oh good! I never get that feeling of "oh this is it!!" We didn't decide until 38w with DS1 though DS2 we did decide fairly early (like 30 weeks?) I'm just glad we have 2. I have my favorite of those and I think I'll sway DH over to my thinking

  11. Calibee

@BeatlesFan629: So true! With my daughter's name we loved it and we're so excited right away. Every boy name kind of feels like we're settling. Which is not very exciting.

Just had my 36 week check up + growth scan. Baby is doing well, measuring just under 6 lb (45%). Had my GBS test and she did check my cervix - 1.5 cm dilated and not very effaced (she didn't give percent just said "cervix is still pretty thick). Which is totally ironic because I did bed rest with DS1+2 because of early contractions and was 2cm and 80% effaced at this point with them...and this time I haven't rested for a moment! On to weekly appointments now....eek!

@Mrs. Goose: I was hoping to go before the last week in June bc my parents will be away that week. I'm sure that will be when we have him though 🙄

  16. BeatlesFan629

    cherry / 187 posts

@winniebee: great news on your check up/scan!

My doctor won't start checking me till 38 weeks. She had mentioned if I'm showing signs of progressing (dilating, cervix thinning out), they would do a membrane sweep at 39 weeks, if I asked for it. I've never had that done before, since I didn't dilate early at all last time, but if I'm able to, I'm tempted to have them do it. Anyone have experience with this? I'll be 39 weeks on June 23, but my appointment wouldn't be till early the next week so if it's successful at all, that would mean I'm having a June baby. I'm so nervous about being late and having to be induced again so anything to help push this guy out a smidge early sounds appealing.

@Mrs. J: Ugh, sorry about the heartburn. I've been getting indigestion daily (pretty much since day 1) but it has intensified so much the past week or so and it makes me want to throw up too.

  17. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@BeatlesFan629: It's basically a super rigorous cervical check (OUCH!) I had one while in the hospital with my first. Basically, I had promordial labor and was just starting active labor and was 4cm and almost 100% effaced. I need GBS antibiotics and went to L&D because my contractions were close together. But when I got to the hospital they had faded. Then I had a few MONSTER contractions while there and baby had a deceleration during one so they wanted me to stay and have the baby. So my OB roughed me up down there and then everything got intense from there. I think for some women it takes 2-3 sweeps to work, but given that I was already so dilated and effaced, it kept the ball rolling for me.

@Mrs. J: I had bad heartburn too! My midwife and chiro recommended papaya enzyme and it worked wonders!! I got this one at Whole Foods. http://papayaenzymeworld.com/papaya-enzyme-original-supplement/

@winniebee: my mom went the longest with the last baby too. My inlaws will be out of town the beginning through mid July and my parents will be gone the week before my due date, so I'm sure someone will be out of town when the baby comes (if I'm early at all, which this time I hope I am!!)

  21. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@Mrs. J: I have heard a lot of ppl go longest with #3!!! I'm so selfish, I want to have him earlier so that I can actually swim in our pool this summer lol. 6 weeks of no swimming after birth is such a bummer!! I don't mind that my parents will be gone, but my mom is sort of devastated. They've had this trip scheduled for a long time (Yosemite) and she has never not been there for the birth of a grand baby (I don't have her in the room, but she comes right away).

How many weeks are you: 36+4
    Due date: 7/1
    Baby's gender: boy!
Symptoms you're dealing with now: tired and overall low on patience. I've started getting a lot of BH and some more standard contractions, mostly at night which is rough. The contractions lasted 4 weeks before I went into real labor with my 2nd so I am trying not to get too excited
Innie or outtie: undecided - moves between both positions
    Rings on or off: On
Lately I've been craving: ice cream sundaes, daily.
    Stretch marks: Nope
    Braxton Hicks: a lot
    Hospital bag packed: In progress..
Baby's room: done I guess. We moved both big girls into new rooms so the nursery is vacated and the mattress is moved up. Other than that he can enjoy his sister's pink rug
    Baby shower: No.
How is DH/DW/Partner doing: It seems to be really hitting him recently that we are going to have another baby and he is stepping it up around home, which is AWESOME.
Most excited about: never being pregnant again.
Most nervous/worried about: getting someone to watch the big kids when I go into labor
Any birth plan specifics (RCS, med free, VBAC etc..): I had 2 quick, med-free vaginal births so I am hoping for a third. Though ideally not much quicker than my 2nd because I would like to make it to the hospital.

  23. Calibee

I've been diagnosed with gestational hypertension. I did not have any of the risk factors, but my OB says sometimes this just happens. I'm going to now have twice weekly nonstress tests and fluid checks in addition to weekly OB appointments. I'll also be induced at 39 weeks if I don't go into labor on my own.

It's not the end of the world. Everything looks fine right now. But it's pretty overwhelming. I was hoping to just coast through the end of this pregnancy...

How many weeks are you: 36

    Due date: 7/7

Baby's gender: Team Green!! I can't wait to find out

Symptoms you're dealing with now: Lots of pressure down low, lightning crotch like whoa, just generally feeling uncomfortable

Innie or outtie: more out than in

Rings on or off: Can't fit my engagement ring on anymore, but my wedding ring still fits

Lately I've been craving: nothing really, just hungry more often than not

    Stretch marks: Not this time

    Braxton Hicks: lots

Hospital bag packed: Working on it

Baby's room: Almost there, we're not really decorating until baby is here, but we have the major stuff ready.

Baby shower: It's #3 for us, so no. My work had a cake before the end of school.

How is DH/DW/Partner doing: He's awesome. So helpful around the house and with the kiddos.

Most excited about: Meeting this little one and seeing if we are getting a boy or a girl. Also since my cerclage is coming out next week, making it to full term without bedrest!!

Most nervous/worried about: THREE KIDS!!!! Ahhh, I feel like my life is about to spiral out of control.

Any birth plan specifics (RCS, med free, VBAC etc..): I had an epidural with both of my previous births. I'm considering not getting one this time, but will have to see what happens when things get moving.

  25. JennyG

    clementine / 912 posts

@Calibee: I'm sorry that this is added to the end of your pregnancy. Hopefully it stays under control and you just have to have additional appointments. As someone who has 2-3 appointments a week, I feel ya. But it will be over soon enough and totally worth it.

  26. Mrs. Goose

    pear / 1737 posts

@Calibee: that's crummy. Hopefully everything is fine as you're monitored through the final stretch.

I'm feeling more hungry lately which is kind of weird! Anybody else hungrier? Haha.

@JennyG: @Mrs. Goose: @Mrs. J: @winniebee: Thanks, ladies. It's more super inconvenient than anything else. So far all extra monitoring shows everything is just fine. I had a growth check ultrasound, and baby was measuring exactly 50th percentile.

I was diagnosed at my 34 week appt when my bp was 140/90. I then went to l&d for bp monitoring and a nonstress test and it was still in the same range.

37 weeks! Had my weekly appt and am still 1.5 cm dilated but now 60% effaced and soft. He seems rather cozy in there...group B positive which I was with my first. Annoying...

@mamainthesun: I feel ya! Ready too. 37 + 2 today. Didn't have a vaginal check so I don't know if things are progressing but I am going to tell baby she can come whenever after my chiro and massage appointment on Friday!

@mamainthesun: yes! I normally love summer but this heat is too much for me.

I have about 500 chigger bites and a rash. Up all night with it. If you don't know what a chigger bite is, google. Basically the most itchy type of bug bite ever. And they are all over my back and down my butt crack. I'm losing my mind.

@winniebee: wow I just googled it..that looks sooo painful. I hope you can sit in cold water to ease the pain! Are these bugs just flying around?
Last night I was attacked by mosquitoes and that was bad enough..poor you!

@honey786: I like the name Elinor, it's timeless in my opinion, a classic but still with a cute modern nickname! But she could also get called Elli..are you ok with that?

Anyone have boy name suggestions?? We still haven't gotten any further!

I had a little scare yesterday. I went in for an extra ultrasound b/c I feel like baby boy has been a little less active lately. He didn't score well on the ultrasound (looked good, but she couldn't get 3 big movements out of him and he wasn't doing practice breathing). So I got sent to L&D for monitoring. An NST, another ultrasound where he scored perfectly, and then another 2 hour NST and I was sent home. It was extremely stressful and I was in panic thinking something was wrong...it turned out okay in the end though. The hospital was also able to give me something stronger for my chigger bites/rash and today overall I'm feeling much better. I think I could've pushed for induction yesterday but I'm only 37 weeks, am barely dilated, and the rash just needs to be gone before baby boy arrives. Hopefully soon though...
