Elliot was born at 1:55 am, May 1st! The epidural got me through a few hours of laboring to 9cm, then it was almost time to push! My mom and DH had left to get dinner and get DH to his bathroom routine with the caregiver. As soon as he was out of the shower, it was time for them to come back. I pushed for 1.5 hours, it was so intense even with the epidural! He is 8 lbs 10 oz and 22 inches. He swallowed some meconium so he was observed in the nursery for a while before he could room in and try to breastfeed. He's amazing and I can't believe he's ours!

Baby Adelaide started phototherapy at home tonight for high bilirubin levels. She's a little glow worm. My fiancé went home last night. I was quite a mess of emotions. I miss him so much.

Jonah Grant arrived at 6:40 pm today, all 9 lbs 5 oz of him! He has been eating like a champ! We're so excited to have our not so little babe in our arms!

Being induced at hospital now. First set of gels inserted and now just being monitored. Was already 2cm dilated when I came in with some very mild contractions but my cervix was still high.... will update again when I can but a little scared on how fast it will go!

Nothing much seems to be happening..its 11pm here so have sent DH home to attempt to get some sleep. If nothing progresses throughout the night they will try and break my waters in the morning and start pitocin. Hopefully I can get some sleep through the contractions. They are checking me again at 3am so will try and update then.
