@SeptMomma12: it's a pizza chain:). Delicious! I used Sherwin Williams swimming in the nursery and the girls' bathroom and it is also a super nice blue/aqua. I definitely think the light blues are really pretty and "in" right now for walls! You should get your mil to look at a PBk catalog- haha:). They even do a lot of navy for girl rooms- gasp

@PrincessBaby: Sounds delicious! My in-laws are buying the furniture (crib/dresser) for her room....you wouldn't believe some of the designs she has suggested. I didn't know they made things THAT frilly! Luckily it's all just suggestions and they will go with whatever we decide.

@SeptMomma12: Wow that's so nice of them! So you get to leave your son in the crib as long as possible? That's awesome!
pear / 1849 posts
@PrincessBaby: Yeah, they have bought all their grandkids' furniture. It's definitely VERY generous, and a huge help for us. We plan to keep C in his crib as long as possible - he's almost 2.5 but still perfectly happy in there! (Though he naps on the floor, like he does at day care.) And then it will convert to a toddler bed/twin bed eventually.

I felt (and saw!) baby hiccups today! DD1 did this so much, but this was the first time for this LO:).
Today I am liking Camdyn a lot more. I'm trying it out and it's growing on me! It makes me happy bc it is less stressful knowing that I can be happy with either, if my husband is really passionate about 1 vs the other.

@PrincessBaby: Aww! Too cute, I can't wait to feel/see the hiccups! I really like the name Camdyn, and I love the spelling even more.
Husband and I knew what the first name of our little girl would be before we even started trying to get pregnant. We decided on a middle name recently, and now we are just hoping she looks like her name. Otherwise, we will have to come up with something else. Eisele Mae

Im not sure if time is going faster or slower! Im only 23+3 but I'll be one of the first to deliver! At my appointment today... Ok let me start over.
I had to check into L&D last week for some major cramps due to being high risk of pre term labor. The doctor thought she saw boy parts on an ultrasound!
Well cause she knows me she felt bad and had me come in for an appt today to double check, and wrote it off as a follow up from the hospital stay. Good news is it's still a girl! Certain angles are misleading cause she's still got swollen lady bits! But 3 techs and the doctor looked and admitted she was definitely wrong before. This baby is incredibly stubborn.
On a side note... We were praying to make it to 36 weeks as my son was a 34 weeker. Well, she was surprised they had said that given my Bile Acids are sooo high. (I have cholestasis of pregnancy) I have an underlying liver issue as well which is why we delivered at 34 last time, and they typically deliver liver disease patients by 34/35 weeks.
So basically, at my appt next week I should be booking my c section which is now looking like 34 weeks instead of 36, which is mid April! that's 11 weeks away! Eek! I know some women are 27 weeks already but gosh lol
In other news I think I started getting sciatica pain. Ohhh my butt!
pear / 1849 posts
@BabyPenguinXO: So happy to hear she is still a "she" - what a roller coaster for you! Wow, that is so soon to deliver. That's great they are monitoring you so closely.
I haven't had any sciatica pain, but I guess was on my feet for too long last night prepping dinner, packing LO's stuff for day care, trying to cook some extra for the week, etc. and suddenly got the worst pains on the right side under my belly. I'm assuming round ligament pain, but it was SO intense. DH had to finish dinner and made me sit down with my feet up for the rest of the night. I feel like I'm too early to be wearing out like that
grapefruit / 4663 posts
@SeptMomma12: I'm the same way, I wear out soo easy and with a 16 month old I don't have time for it.
@BabyPenguinXO: oh my goodness so soon!
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@jetsa: @SeptMomma12: I traveled out of town for work on mon and the planes and taxis and navigation took a lot out of me, I noticed I had way more RLPish pain along with just an achy feeling under my belly. It jarred me a little, but I guess it really was just that my body, and belly, was worn the heck out!
When you don't have a toddler to tend to in the morning bc you're in a hotel, you have way more time to do things like take bump pics...
Haha- 2 days away from 28 weeks! Whoop whoop! This shirt makes me look huge but I like it?
grapefruit / 4663 posts
@PrincessBaby: Cute bump! Isn't it crazy how pregnancy affects our bodies!
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@PrincessBaby: I love that shirt! And I'm also getting the RPL here. I coughed last night and it must've pulled wrong because it hurt so bad!
I'm glad everyone else is crapping out as early as I am, too! It's ridiculous. I hate feeling so wiped all the time (granted, I'm still recovering from this bug, but still!!!)
grapefruit / 4663 posts
@blackbird: its crazy isn't it. This is our last and so I'm trying to enjoy it but I'm also wishing it away. Theres a 5k we always run near St. Patricks day and I had my heart set on walking it but I doubt that happens, I'd probably pay for that the entire weekend.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@jetsa: I am 100% counting down til May. And sort of amazed I even want to do this again. This winter has just been brutal. But the next time I do this, I won't have toddlers....
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@jetsa: Gah. Isn't it wonderful?! Don't you just love it?!
WHEN DOES IT END
pear / 1849 posts
@PrincessBaby: You look great! And I love that shirt.
@blackbird: @jetsa: I'm definitely not doing this again! Counting down the minutes til May for sure.

@SeptMomma12: is this your last babe!?
I kind of want to wait 3-4 years and have 2 more close together. But we will see when I have this baby if I still think that BAHAHAH!
grapefruit / 4663 posts
@BabyPenguinXO: It is mine! I'll have two 20 months apart (hopefully) and that is it lol.
pear / 1849 posts
@BabyPenguinXO: Yes! We are done after this one for sure. We both come from families with two kids and always said that's when we would stop - tough pregnancies and day care tuition have just solidified that decision even more!

@jetsa: aww bittersweet!!
@SeptMomma12: I think I am in a lower cost daycare area but that makes total sense!!

Thanks everyone!
I am not sure if this is our last or not. It could go either way, but man would I freakin hate to be pregnant again! I mean it is not the least bit of fun!
The first time, it's all "I am growing life, this is a beautiful miracle!!!" And the second time is like "THIS AGAIN????"
I have about 11.5 weeks left until my induction date of 4-27. GET IT HERE.
THEN GIVE ME ALL OF THE WINE.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@PrincessBaby: yes wine! I want to eat without heartburn, too! I miss margaritas and craft beers and hard Apple cider. All my fave summery drinks!
I'm seriously thinking about PA school, so if we have a third, it'll be when the kids are 7 and 5ish. But a lot could change in 5 years and I could lose all desire for a third, too. But my niece and nephew are that age and my SIL is itching for a third!

I am so happy to fly home today! Being at a major meeting while super pregnant has sucked! I HATE not having the freedom to stop somewhere for a snack when I feel like it, and I've been forced to eat crappy stuff this week just for the sake of staying alive!!! They put snack stations outside meeting rooms but it's never anything healthy.
Oh and just to add to my Bitch Fest- I am normally driving for a lot of the day since I'm a drug rep. I'm pretty lucky that my company gives me a pretty sweet SUV with comfy leather heated seats, etc. So that's where my butt and back spend a lot of time. The past few days I've been sitting in these stupid meeting chairs and my lower back is all "I'M SO OVER THIS SHIT!!!"
And from slumping over in an attempt to get comfortable, I feel like my belly/guts/baby are sore from being squashed? Does anyone else feel like things are getting so tight in there that it's starting to feel really weird? I have this frequent ache under my right ribs and it has to be some part of her digging into me, but I can't figure out what. I'm just already feeling like my torso isn't enough real estate for tenant.
Can you tell I'm ready to get the F home today?!? Grump Alert!!!!
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@blackbird: when I get H to sleep, I'm totally going to measure out my sad little 3 or 4 oz of wine and treat myself. And probably fantasize about when I can have way way more.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@PrincessBaby: heh 4 oz is a full glass! This baby and I would be partying it up! I wanted wine so bad with E and I'm so much more indifferent time this around. Still looking forward to something sparkly, though!
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@blackbird: I have a pretty heavy pour when I'm not pregnant And 4oz is what Emily Oster says pregnant women can actually safely drink DAILY according to her extensive research, so that's where I cap it if I do it- but I could for sure drink more! I'm eager to retire my little measuring shot glass!!!!

@PrincessBaby: keep an eye on that right side pain! Have you been itchy at all? RUQ, Right Upper Quadrant, pain is a symptom of cholestasis. Obviously it could be feet or a head! But it's constant and you're habing itching or pale stool and dark urine, you need to get checked out!
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@BabyPenguinXO: oh thank you! I def did it know that! I haven't had any itching or other symptoms (thank goodness bc I have read how much you SUFFER with cholestasis)...So far it's just a dull ache sometimes:(
kiwi / 549 posts
@PrincessBaby: you're welcome ! If any of those signs appear tag me in a post and I have LOADS of info for you. But hopefully you're just getting kicked! You know, I have very severe cholestasis and despite the fact that my levels are high, the Ursodiol (medicine) is helping my itchiness even though it's not lowering my levels. So I'm really not that miserable. But not everyone gets relief! So it definitely CAN be miserable!

How is everyone feeling? I am still so worn out from being gone all week for work. My husband left for work for 3 weeks on the day that I got back, so I've been solo parenting since I got home Thurs night and I am dragging butt! Plus we've had painters in our house all weekend (doing the nursery furniture among a few other things!) and it's hard to totally relax when you've got people in your house.
I feel bad because I'm so lazy that I couldn't bring myself to get up early enough to get us both ready for church, so we're missing it, and we didn't go last Sunday either. I'm such a slacker! I'm just SO TIRED.
I also feel like there's no room left in my belly. It feels so tight and huge. I can't figure out why, but it's not a sporadic feeling, it just just feels like even though all the pregnancy info says this LO is around 2.5 lbs at 28 weeks, she actually is like 3x bigger than that:)
pear / 1849 posts
@PrincessBaby: I'm in a "feeling pretty good" phase but it comes in waves. My BH contractions are definitely picking up, but I had an ultrasound on Thursday that confirmed cervix is still long and closed with no funneling at all, so I think that automatically made me feel better mentally. By this point with my son, I was about to be hospitalized and put on bed rest, so it's hard not to feel better this time around!
I have the same stomach tightness (independent of the contractions). Not fun
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@SeptMomma12: At your u/s, did they tell you how baby was measuring, or how big she is? I don't think I get another ultrasound unless I have a problem, but when my mom flies in to visit late next week I was thinking of getting a 4D...I wonder if they tell at these later ultrasounds how much baby weighs? I feel like hugeness of the baby is to blame for the stomach tightness.

Oh and is anyone else doing maternity pics? I wasn't going to for this one, but when I booked my newborn session, they offer a maternity mini session for like $125, so I figured what the hell. I'm going to do them. The photographer does the ones with the white sheer-ish gown, and she is going to do mine on the beach, so I'm rolling with it...
