I just got off the phone with both my doctors office as well as my health insurance (Tufts HMO Advantage) and i've come away with the conclusion that the NT scan and bloodwork "might" be covered. Basically different documents say contradicting things and even the insurance rep was confused.

Does anyone here have the Tufts HMO Advantage plan and was your NT scan and bloodwork covered?

My Dr. didn't even mention that it was an optional test and after i asked she said if i opted out of it then i wouldn't get a single ultrasound until 20 weeks. Not even a dating scan. I'm currently 11w4d. This just seems ridiculous to me.
