@Kitkat: Sounds like my epidural from last time! I couldn't feel much so I wasn't sure if I was pushing but it all worked out! I wasn't allowed to get up from bed without nurse supervision for about 5 hours afterwards. Whoops! Good luck! You're almost there!

@mand4: I had a very similar end of delivery. I was afraid of the pain and hated being touched, plus they broke my water to move things along. Finally the midwife said that I wasn't having a baby without her touching me to help keep me together and stop fighting the contractions (I was clamping my legs shut because of the intense pressure) so i did the damn thing and she was out two contractions later.

Benjamin arrived today at 12:08pm. 8lbs 15oz and 21 inches long. So far feeding is going well and he's a champion sleeper. 11 hours of labor from start to finish and was much smoother than I thought it would be

She's here! Baby girl arrived at 7:01 pm - she's a petite 4 lbs 11 oz but came out crying and kicking! She's currently being monitored for low glucose, but is otherwise doing well, as am I!
Will share name and photos once we've reached all our family in real life.

Ethan arrived 10/8 at 1:55 am! All went well and FAST and time hasn't slowed down yet!

Baby girl was born last night! I lost my mucus plug and had my bloody show at 3:30am that morning. Had spotting throughout the morning with mild contractions every 7-10 min. Checked in with doctors office and the nurse said to go into L&D just to get checked because of the spotting. Called my husband home and made a stop to get him lunch and for me to walk a bit to see if I could get the contractions any closer. When I got there I was put in triage and checked. I was worried I'd be sent home because my contractions weren't even close to the 5-1-1 rule and they seemed mild with a few stronger ones. I was 6cm and admitted. I got my antibiotics and epidural over the next 2 hours and settled in to labor through it all. They kept planning to break my water but a bunch of emergency c-sections kept pushing me back. Finally, 4 hours later the doctor broke my water and I was at 10 cm, but - 1 station so I labored down for another 90 min then did some practice pushes for the doctor. Baby girl came out after 3.5 contractions worth of pushing (about 10.5 pushes). I did tear, but otherwise everything went really well.

Hugh Lawrence arrived at 9:15am this morning via c-section- 8lbs 14oz & 21 inches. He is so beautiful and I'm still having to pinch myself that he's really here :). Both of us are doing well. Looking forward to getting some sleep and some real food tomorrow!
