Update: I miscarried at home last night. I went in today for my pre-op appointment and my doctor said I don't need the D&C as long as my hcg levels continue to decline. I'm feeling much better now after talking to him and, while the actual miscarriage was the most traumatizing experience of my life, I'm glad it happened that way and that I don't have to have the D&C.
