Thinking of you and just wanted to let you know that my daughter who is now almost three was born at 28 weeks. She was in the Nicu for two months and those were honestly the hardest two months in my life. There were ups and downs and I felt powerless to help my baby. What helped me was knowing that the doctors and nurses were more capable than I at that moment to help my little angel. I prayed for her, pumped for her and held her whenever I could.
Take it one day at a time, reach out for help and take care of yourself. You are a strong mama and I will be thinking of you. -

Hugs! I'm glad you've read my blog, but I've got a bunch more contacts out there, mostly preemies, but one of my good preemie mom friends support for NICU moms, so she might be a good contact. Let me know if I can help in any way. Ask me anything!
I like looking at the bright side... That's how I do things too. Knowing the day you will give birth is awesome in so many ways ( I didn't have that ). If you haven't read my second post after I was hospitalized, you should read it too, it was about letting things go that I can no longer control (which I imagine you have already done).

I'm a micro-preemie mom with a baby currently in the NICU. We've been there almost 7 weeks and have probably 2 months to go. Of course no one wants to be in the NICU, but the vast majority of nurses, doctors, and support staff are truly fabulous. They have taken good care of LO and been very supportive of DH and me as we go through this stressful and scary time. Someone recently started a thread for moms of preemies that may be helpful for you.
