I just scheduled mine for early in the morning and would go to work after. Nobody had a clue since we don't have a set schedule of when we have to be in at work.

It doesn't necessarily mean they have to pay you for the time you take off, it just means they have to provide it.

I just made my appointments for my days off. I worked for a very popular fast causal place early in pregnancy, they weren't super at working with me. I went back to work for my dad's practice which allowed me to adjust my schedule for my doctors appointments.

My boss is awesome and just lets me go whenever. I do try to come in early or work late, but he doesn't require me to. It still stresses me out since I have so many appts. Until recently, I've had an ultrasound/MFM appt every other week and an OB appt every 4 weeks, but now I go to both the OB and the MFM ever other week (on opposite weeks). So, I have an appointment every single week, and I'm only 27 weeks. I'm so, so thankful for an understanding boss. I thought the hardest part was the early appointments before I had told my boss when I had to try to just keep missing for mystery appointments.

My boss was so understanding! She just let me leave when ever I needed to. I made sure I let her know in advance & she mad the necessary arrangements to cover me while I was gone. I did try to make them early mornings so it wouldn't affect her that much.

I'm salaried and our company policy for salaried employees is that time off can only be taken in 4 or 8 hour increments, since I didn't need a half day off for my appointments I just went and tried to make it up later.

I work Tuesdays--Saturdays, so I made as many appointments as possible on Mondays. I also don't go into work until noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays (and stay until 9 p.m.) so I could fit appointments in first thing on those days.

I make them early or late and try to make up the time elsewhere. We can use any increment of vacation hours so it's not a big deal if I need an hour of vacation. Typically for dr appts though, you're allowed to use sick time but I really just try and make it up. They're short appts and it's close to my office.
