I would have said yes before having my son, but honestly, I wouldn't want to go through another c-section if it wasn't to have my own child. And that's the only option around here.

But other than that fact, I wouldn't mind doing it for someone close to me at all.

If you would have asked me before I was pregnant, I would have said yes, but I had a complicated pregnancy, and a stressful delivery (emergency c-section) and I don't think I could ever do it for a baby I wouldn't raise myself.

Also, I would be a terrible surrogacy candidate because of my complications, so no one would want me anyways

My husband wouldn't be okay with it, so there's that to consider as well (egg donation is not allowed in his home country, so he's kind of got political and social baggage).

I could do it physically, but I am no spring chicken, so I have no idea if I'd be a good candidate.

I would do it for my sister only. Mentally I'm okay with it but physically I don't know if I would be a good candidate....LO came way early.

I have so much respect for those who do, but physically this pregnancy has not been easy for me and I'll probably only have one more pregnancy of my own for that reason.

I'd absolutely do it for a family member or close friend. I'd highly consider it for a stranger. I don't love being pregnant, but it's an amazing gift to be able to give someone. Maybe this will change once I give birth and hold my baby for the first time, but as of right now I don't think the emotional aspect of not being able to keep the baby I housed for 40 weeks would really get to me. I love my baby of course because she is mine, but I'm not super emotionally attached yet.
