First, it would be an immaculate conception but I would be thrilled. Then I would worry about my current plans of moving back home by the end of this year.

Yes, but only because I have two kids already and we're supposed to be done!
coconut / 8305 posts
Aside from the immaculate conception like you, yes! My brain cannot compute the care of two same amount small sized humans at once... it just can't. I would cry, alot. (just being honest).
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
Yes, and not freak out in a good way! It would also be an immaculate conception as I am not even 4 weeks PP.
blogger / nectarine / 2608 posts
Yes. I would have to be institutionalized. My life would just not be a very welcoming place to two new lives right now. BUT... I'm sure I would get over that and be excited after not too long. Well, excitement alternating with terror, but at least excited some. And Mr. T would probably ask for a paternity test because there's no way they could be his considering how much time we have for procreative activities at the moment.

I would panic initially, but I think I'd get over it quickly and be excited. We've always wanted two kids, and after the mess TTC #1 has been, I wouldn't mind never TTC again!
grapefruit / 4703 posts
Yes I would freak, but not too much, because I know I'm at higher risk for multiples. Just did an IUI yesterday with 2 follicles, so it's possible...

Yes I have a 16 month old and I dont think I am ready for another child yet and definitely not ready for twins

Immaculate conception, for one.
Then, we're supposed to be one and done.
Then, I would secretly, but not so secretly be thrilled.
cantaloupe / 6800 posts
I would be THRILLED. I wanted twins badly, so if LO turned out to be twins, it would be a happy surprise. (though with all the ultrasounds we've had I would probably pass out from all the "WTF"!)
kiwi / 662 posts
I would be over the moon with excitement. I know I'm nuts but I've dreamt of twins ever since I can remember!
coconut / 8854 posts
I don't know how I would react! Twins runs in my family sooo much that I'm half expecting at least 1 of my pregnancies to be with twins!
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
I would completely flip out, but probably not as badly as DH would. We're still on the fence about maybe having another some day, having surprise twins would just be...a big shock, and not really a good one.
Plus, I have an IUD, so I would immediately worry about that...

I'd flip out. One, because it would be an immaculate conception. Two, because LO isn't even 2 weeks old yet.
cantaloupe / 6885 posts
Yes, since I'm due in 3 weeks and they've told me there's only one in there!! I would be totally unprepared for twins. If it was twins from the beginning though I would have been fine - excited even
honeydew / 7283 posts
I would absolutely freak out. The newborn phase was so so hard for me that I just can't imagine doing it x2.
nectarine / 2932 posts
I would be thrilled! I've always kind of hoped to have multiples - unfortunately it doesn't run in either of our families.
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
I'd be thrilled, I was hoping my son was twins, but he was a singleton.
grapefruit / 4817 posts
I'd have a break down. Twins is my nightmare. I think my parents are still trying to recover from having twins and my brothers are 16 now.
grapefruit / 4923 posts
i would have a good, long, heartfelt cry.
@Mrs. Train: i would have one for you! by the way, i was telling a coworker today who has a toddler, 1-year old twins, and another baby on the way about the superstar mom of 4 (that would be you!) whose blog i read to encourage her that she can totally do this! you are an inspiration

I would be thrilled. One pregnancy to get two, and less overall years of the newborn stage? Sign me up!
GOLD / wonderful grape / 20289 posts
I'd be very happy.... but a little stressed about it too.
grapefruit / 4400 posts
@Mrs. Train: LOL!!!
I would freak out (it's a possibility, I guess-- since we don't have our first U/S for another month?) because we're freaking out at the thought of 2 under 2 as it is. I do NOT know how we would handle 3 under 2!
pomegranate / 3314 posts
I think I would be okay with it, actually! We have one now and sometimes I think I would like 3, but I'm not sure I could handle two more pregnancies. So twins = perfect.
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
I would be so freaked out and thrilled...and then freaked out again how I would do 3 in daycare, 3 in diapers, ect! We would make it work but I would be happy with one surprise more
We had a weak moment of "should we just throw our timeline out the window" last night and I stopped before we did anything careless I'm such a planner even though baby fever has gotten both of us, I want to wait until late next spring to try again!
clementine / 896 posts
Omg YES! Not in a good way. We're not sure we want anymore kids and part of my SO's reasoning is hes afraid of twins. Haha.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
Yes! We are so not ready to even think about #2 yet. So no way 2 more babies. Not to mention I would have to quit my job cause 3 in day care would be my whole paycheck
honeydew / 7283 posts
I already commented and I still can't stop thinking about it. Let me reiterate that I would FREAK OUT. One of the major reasons that I am afraid to start TTC again is a fear of having twins. omg.
honeydew / 7091 posts
I would be SO HAPPY! I was still hoping up through delivery of L that there was going to be a surprise second baby in there... there wasn't
