@MrsSCB: Whee! It's actually one of my favorites. It's just a t-shirt, but I actually feel good in it!

@pregnantbee: Thank you! I go for walks every morning just around my neighborhood. My route is like 30 minutes. Its not enough to combat the goodies I consume. But its something.

@pregnantbee: my husband felt the baby last night! We were streaming Prince ( ) and baby was rolling and kicking. I've got a dancer on my hands!

Hi guys!! Posting from my "baby moon"/ weekend away! Let see. I had my 24 week appointment a week late at 25 weeks because my DR was at a conference in Florida. They said everything looks good. At 28 weeks (May 9th) I'll have my 1 hour glucose test and appointment. That test always worries me.
I've been on Zantac for Heart burn and acid reflux since week 20 and it's been the best. I can tell when I'm getting to the 12 hour mark to take the next pill. So glad I asked for it when I did.
Tonight is the first time both my husband and I are away from the boys. It's so weird.
Here's a swimsuit belly picture just for fun!
Ps. I've been trying to keep up On other posts but it goes so fast

@pregnantbee: @Silva: @Pirouette: @MrsSCB: Thanks so much ladies. So far I've woken up at the crack of dawn a d my husband slept for another 1.5 hours and then he just fell asleep while I was getting ready. I think he's really relaxed and enjoying himself. I think I'll drink my cup of coffee and Facebook/Hellobee while he snoozes.

Talk me off the panicked pregnant lady ledge, friends. I just got a call for Costco that their organic frozen veggies that I bought recently were recalled for listeria. We've used them off and on the past few months and I definitely just had some of the frozen peas last night! Apparently no one has gotten sick from them but I can't help but worry. I've always eaten them cooked/after boiling them so it should be okay, yes????
Ahhhhh. Why do these things have to happen?? Haha.
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@coopsmama: If you don't feel sick, you're fine. Just stop eating them now. And are you sure your batch is part of the affected batch?
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
@pregnantbee: Yes, it is. They called because we actually had two items in that batch! I can return for a full refund tomorrow. I read that listeria has an incubation of 3 to *70* days which is just crazy to me. That said, once again, I always cook the frozen peas and corn before using them so I'm assuming that would've taken care of anything? Just like the recommendation is to always cook deli meat or hot dogs? Idk. I need to not overthink this because there is nothing I can do about it now.
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@coopsmama: Ugh. No idea. But 3 to SEVENTY is crazy. I'd imagine you'll be fine. I'm sure they're just taking precautions.
pomelo / 5257 posts
@coopsmama: that's so annoying! I would think you're fine with cooking it, though. If cooking deli meat makes it safe then I guess the heat must kill the bacteria?
nectarine / 2591 posts
@ShootingStar: @Silva: Yep... sounds like SPD. Thanks for the tips, am going to look into a belt and maybe a trip to the chiro might help. Some days it's not too bad, others it hurts to just walk.
@T.H.O.U.: Warm water with lemon was helping until it got too bad.
@pwnstar: @pregnantbee: Thanks for the support
@Pirouette: So hard when LO are just constantly sick. DD has been sick with me this week and it has been so tough. Hoping your LO gets better soon, you are due a break
@Aandmklover: You look amazing. Hope you are enjoying your break
@coopsmama: How stressful! I would think cooking it would make it fine but not what you need to deal with right now
pomegranate / 3331 posts
@coopsmama: oh what a pain! You can get listeria from frozen veggies?!?! Ugh. I'm sure you are fine though!
@AprilFool: thanks! I'm sorry your girl is sick too
nectarine / 2461 posts
@coopsmama: aghh, that is SO SO unnerving, lady. of course keep an eye out for getting sick, but the good news is that the heat really does totally effectively kill the bacteria, and you wouldn't have eaten a cold-in-the-middle half-frozen dinner. if you put the veggies in a soup or stir-fry or something they would have been cooked through--you would have had to have done something like mix frozen peas into a cold salad and just let them thaw out in the already-prepared food to have anything to worry about. plus, even if only 1 or 2 of those items from costco have been pegged as carrying it, they would still have to recall thousands of packages from that batch. and the refund, wtf are you kidding? so you get exposed to listeria and they'll give you your $2.95 back? at least they called you... if you do return I'd document everything, but think you will be fine
@Aandmklover: cute cute suit, you look great! can I ask where you got it? I'm looking for black bottoms just like that--we booked our vacation to the west coast. kind of wish I was going to Florida though, the water's so nice there

I am on the waitlist at two places, and I have eight more daycares to call tomorrow morning. Hopefully something works out! I swear, this is like having a second full-time job

@MrsSCB: Ugh. So frustrating. I'm sure something will work out -- it's just annoying to get there.

Happy Sunday, ladies! So.....new fun thing over here: I've started to misjudge my size and now keep hitting the bump on counters and when opening doors. Anyone else? Just me??
pomelo / 5257 posts
@pregnantbee: thanks, at least it'll feel like a relief once we find somewhere. And I did that with the car door. We parked in a small spot and I was like, "I can squeeze out the door, it's fine!" It was a very tight squeeze, haha.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@pregnantbee: oh yes! That's a fun symptom. Wait until it starts hurting when you bump it because the skin is so thin. That's the worst. I remember getting a couple of scratches and bruises from things that should not have caused damage.
I can't tell if my back is out or I really can't bend over anymore. It's getting bad though!
I did try my Moby wrap was a belly/back wrap today and it helped a ton while I was cleaning.
grapefruit / 4717 posts
@MrsSCB: Haha. It's even funnier when I turn sideways to pass through a tighter fit....and can't fit!
@T.H.O.U.: That happened to me last time. I remember once that I went to look out the peep hole in the front door and slammed my belly into it before my eye got anywhere near. I think I'm in serious denial that I'm so big already -- this is how big I was at 8 mos last time! Eek.
I hope your back is ok. Glad the Moby helped at least a little.

@pregnantbee: my mom told me that when she was super pregnant with me, she was going to the bathroom at a restaurant and it had a very narrow hallway. As she was walking down the hall, another super pregnant lady came out of the bathroom. There was no way they could pass each other, so my mom ended up backing out while the other lady walked toward her, and they just laughed the whole time

@MrsSCB: Actually LOLed here. I can totally picture that happening.

My new fun things are being able express colostrum, and crying at the drop of a hat. DH made a joke about being in a loveless marriage and I totally lost it. Poor guy didn't know what to do, lol.

@pregnantbee: I am right there with you and I literally look like I did at 8 months preggo last time. I saw a sweet lady today that's due 7 days before me and I truly couldn't tell she was pregnant. Cue hormonal break down once I was back I my car.

@ShootingStar: Awwww. Yeah, I haven't been taking jokes well lately.
@dcw6411: I'm sorry you're in the same boat, but I'm also glad I'm not alone. I should dig up a photo from last time for comparison. I have a friend who is a month behind me with her first. She just told me, and I had absolutely no idea! Crazy.
