@T.H.O.U.: Hahaha, yeah, cervix details should be a little more difficult to stumble across
@JennyPenny: Sooooo beautiful and calming! I would want to spend all my time in that room!
Dr says baby is head down - yay!! I could have guessed though, with all the constant kicking to my ribs - ouch! I'm going to opt out of cervical checks - I did not like them last time, and they'll just either give me false hope or make me frustrated that nothing is happening. No good could come from them!
It's probably about time to start a birthdate list? We already have 2 babies, right?

@JennyPenny: Looks wonderful!
@Swurlygirl: I almost wish I would have opted out of the checks too! They were of no indication of how things would turn out with my daughter, and I always left thinking that I would never go into labor! Glad baby is head down!

@JennyPenny: love the nursery!! i love the colors!
@swurlygurl: i'm drawing a blank, who is the second aug baby? i know mrs.64. is there someone else?
anyone have major third trimester insomnia?? i keep waking up at like 2 or 3am and can't sleep for an hour or two. ugh the worst. i guess its preparing me for those middle of the night wakings

@kodybear: Apparently I am making things up... Pregnancy brain? Haha
My sleep problems are due to my bladder. Waking up 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom is really taking a toll on the quality of my sleep

@msmug: @beckysue: I'm bummed its gold only too, but I'll probably just post here with labor/announcement stuff since I'm not gold either - unless you want to start a separate thread, but that could get confusing. And it sounds like gold people can update here with less detail so we at least know when all the beautiful babes arrive
I'm surprised we haven't had any new babies yet! The anticipation is killing me...

@swurlygurl: i was going to blame pregnancy brain for not remembering!
@JennyPenny: high probability that you're next!

@kodybear: True...according to the chart @T.H.O.U. sent out a while back, I have a 20% chance of delivering this week!
cherry / 186 posts
@T.H.O.U.: I understand, I will not be posting that much detail myself.
@JennyPenny: I agree, I will just be posting updates on this thread. Too many threads to follow gets too overwhelming for me.
I can't wait to hear about the August babies making their arrivals! (Except for me, I am okay waiting until closer to my due date, soo not ready yet )

Is anyone interested in a private FB group? My Oct 2012 mommies have one and it's a nice place to share photos. I can set one up if you ladies are interested. I would rather share photos on there. I probably won't even post pics of her on a gold thread.

@kodybear: I'm having trouble falling asleep every night. I'm just so wired up every night thinking about this baby coming and the things I want to get done! Once I'm asleep, I'm good. It's just getting up to go to the bathroom all night long that sucks.
@swurlygurl: I'm going to opt out of cervical checks this time too. I don't see the point in them.

no worries about the gold only thread. i totally understand. i didnt realize there would be posts about more intimate things, pics, cervix details..etc
Good luck to all who are up next!
My friend who was also pregnant with twins, due 8 days after me, already had them this past weekend! I have about 4 more weeks until my scheduled c-section date but I guess I really could go at any time! Ahh.. so much still left to do!

@msmug: Oh man, that would make it so hard to contain myself knowing someone due after me already had their baby(ies). These first 36 weeks have FLOWN by, but I can already tell it's going to start dragging now

At my appointment on Friday I was waiting for TWO HOURS to see the Doctor (and of course it's just a quick 5 minute appointment...). When the nurse took my blood pressure it was really high (188/98? I don't remember, blood pressure numbers confuse me) and the nurse told me that was noooo good, and to lie down so she could retest me in a couple minutes. Well, I figured that it was because I'd been stewing in the waiting room for 2 hours getting super pissy about all the better things I could be doing with my 2 hours off work. BUT, then I started freaking out, wondering if they were going to have to admit me to the hospital to have this baby if my BP didn't go down - you know, super rational thoughts It was back to a normal pressure after a couple minutes, so no biggie. But, after thinking that it might be time to have a baby, I've been SO ready! I wasn't ready at all before, but now I am so anxious to see my baby girl!

@mrskc: I'll do Facebook if it's private. I keep my HelloBee habit to myself IRL
pear / 1616 posts
@mrskc: I would join the fb group! I stopped posting pictures of dd on here after I found a pic of an aquaintances daughter on babycenter on a random google search and realized how easily that happens! And yeah I usually can't fall asleep after I go pee at night cuz I start thinking abt everything to do and stuff like that. Bleh
@swurlygurl: glad ur bp went back to normal!! That's weird it jumped that high but 2 hrs is a long wait!! I get antsy after like a 30 min wait haha

@swurlygurl: @BakerBee: @kodybear: ok! I'll start one. I will make it a secret group. I would need you guys to add me as friends tho, then once you're in the group, you can delete me if you'd like. I'll post my FB on your walls.
If anyone else wants to join, let me know and I'll leave my FB on your wall and then send me a friend request.

The group is set up. I can also now invite by email if you would like to post your email to my wall.

@mrskc: I would love a FB group too. What is the best way for you to find me since I am not gold. Should I wall you my email address?
bananas / 9357 posts
@beckysue: you can wall me your email or I can gold wall you my FB and you can add me as a friend. Either way is fine by me.

As of 10:27am this baby has stayed in longer than DS. So after 5 weeks of worry that this peanut would come early we are now here safely at 37 weeks. I'm ready any day now kid. I wanna know what you are!!
honeydew / 7091 posts
@Aandmklover: @T.H.O.U.: You two and your - I would be sooooo anxious to meet the baby and find out the sex, and I can't imagine being even more anxious than I already am!

10 days left till my due date! The milk I picked up this week expires after baby's due. I'm so excited, I just wish I had a crystal ball to tell me when it was going to happen!

@JennyPenny: haha exciting stuff!!
Since we're all due right before the start of cold and flu season. What vaccines, if any, will you be getting to help protect your infant?
I am thinking about getting the Tdap and wondering if the flu vaccine immunity will pass to her in the womb or just wait till the hospital.
pomelo / 5228 posts
@locavore_mama: My OB's office gives Tdap to all women in the 3rd tri, since they believe that a little bit of the immunity will pass on to baby. Other than that, I think we're just going to follow the normal schedule.
pomegranate / 3895 posts
@locavore_mama: This may be a stupid question, but is the flu shot out yet? I know as a pregnant women we are considered priority (this may only apply in shortage scenarios, though).
honeydew / 7091 posts
I got the Tdap while I was pregnant with L - I shouldn't have to get it again, should I? I'll just do whatever they tell me to do. My OB office offered the flu shot at their office for my last pregnancy, so I hope they just do the same so I don't have to make a special trip anywhere
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@locavore_mama: I just found this that seems to be the best info I can find. I wasn't sure if I should get the Tdap again since I did have it 3 years ago.
kiwi / 645 posts
@swurlygurl: My OB gave it to me again (early 3rd trimester), even though I just had it in Jan. 2013 when my daughter was born. She mentioned the extra immunity being passed to the baby as to why I needed it again. I asked if my husband also needed it again and she said no.
honeydew / 7091 posts
@Mrs. M: Good to know - I'll ask her about that today. My husband never got it, I need to make sure he gets it this time!!!
Did we already know that we both have Jan 2013 babies?
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@T.H.O.U.: @swurlygurl: my doctor wants me to get it again! I'm assuming so the vaccine can pass to her in the womb?
@BakerBee: I'm not sure actually.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@locavore_mama: @swurlygurl: Yes, it seems that they HOPE a third trimester vaccine will create antibodies to pass to the baby to help with the time until they are protected on their own.
kiwi / 645 posts
@swurlygurl: I did not know that! I knew your LO was close in age to mine, but apparently they are very close!!!
