Any of you gals decided to not find out gender?
This is bebe #2 for us, and I could not wait to find out with our first baby. I really wanted a girl- to indulge myself in all things girly- and she was! This time I really want to be surprised, husband is totally on board with it. I have no gender preference, a girl would be nice, since we have all the clothes. But a boy would be so sweet too, since there are no little boys on my husbands side of the family.

I am Jan 2014 (thinking of starting a thread for our month). We are totally Team Green. It's our first baby ... it took us a long time to be 'ready' to start trying, but even from the beginning of our marriage we always said we'd be TG. There are so few surprises in the world, and I feel like I could use the motivation on baby's day of birth.
I love that you're waiting for baby 2 ... there's something so cool about that!

We're doing things opposite from you guys, we were team green for DD and will find out the gender for this pregnancy. I think it will make it more real for DD if we are able to tell her baby brother or sister.

I am too much of a planner to be team green!! before getting pregnant with our first, I thought I would be team green but when it came down to making a decision I HAD to know. lol

We're team green! I was leaning toward it about 80%-20% but DH decided he really doesn't want to know until the birth, so I'm cool with that. I'm not a fan of pink so I'm kind of glad that, if it's a girl, she won't start out life looking like a bundle of cotton candy 
And it will be nice to have a bunch of neutral stuff in case we decide to have a second child down the road.

I had a vague idea that we may have another child, so a few of the bigger ticket items (stroller/carseats) I went gender neutral. But I also went gender neutral because I didn't want to be too decked out in pink- wanted my husband to feel comfortable pushing the stroller too. I do wish we had picked up a few more gender neutral smaller items- like clothing and shoes (dang baby shoes are expensive).
BUT if its a boy this time I know it will be fine to wait to buy things til after birth. You know first one you are just desperate to have everything right away.

We are definitely going to find out. I agree with @mrsmate, I think it will be easier to understand for DS if we can talk about his baby brother or sister. I also think it helps me visualize my future relationship with my future child in a more concrete way. Even though this will be out 2nd it still seems rather abstract.

I'm team green! I love the thought of the extra motivation during delivery, and bringing the child into a more gender neutral environment. We want to do whatever we can to limit gender expectations on our children.

Our story is similar. I wanted to be surrounded by all things girly and dh wanted to be team green. I was carrying the baby so I won. But now that I have my pink I'm letting him win.
