@MrsF: Not as scary as Xander's reaction to milk! Logan just broke out in hives. No breathing issues. Hopefully we'll be able to leave in another hour.

@FaithFertility: Glad G did well with the sitter! It will be sooo hard to go back but it gets better/easier with time!
@Adira: Scary about the peanut allergy, no fun!! Hope he's doing better! I also requested to follow on IG.

@FaithFertility: it's awwwwwful!!!! She was STTN and bam she's fighting sleep like crazy. She's now waking 4 + times a night.

@banddmommy: maybe she is just making up for skipping all of the earlier regressions reinforces my belief that all kids are terrible sleepers at some point. you just never know (and can't really control) when it will be! hang in there, mama.

@KayKay: probably... My son never had sleep regressions so I was hoping to be so lucky again

@BandDmommy: Could it be your trip maybe? Hopefully it will settle back soon!!!!
pomelo / 5298 posts
@FaithFertility: There is a regression, it can hit anytime between 8-10 months and can last anywhere from 3-6 weeks. It's related to all the development they are going through.

I think we are taking a mini vacation/visit to the inlaws in two weeks. Which will also be our first time flying with the kiddos. Lord help me, I'm not sure I'll survive.

@MamaG: Boo but makes complete sense! They are trying to do so much at that stage I'm sure!
Hope your travels go well

@MamaG: I pray it is not 6 weeks long. Awesome time for me to start working again.

M had some sort of reaction to a jar of apples & blueberries this morning. He ate some the other day & was fine (though he doesn't like blueberries much), but this morning, his face turned red where I wiped food away. It went away within 30 minutes though.
@MamaG: Good luck on your trip. Hope it's not too bad traveling with 2.

@AngelicOne: That's too bad Seems like an unlikely allergy too! Maybe it was a little acidic and just irritated his skin?

J was totally freaking out when I was trying to feed him before his afternoon nap. Absolutely refused to nurse. Screaming and screaming I finally got my fingers in his mouth and his third tooth on the top is popping through (I knew that all four were on their way up). Of course we were at my parents' house so DH had to run out for Tylenol. He started nursing as soon as we gave the Tylenol (I think that he sugar sort of kicks in before the medication does) and slept for close to 2 hours. Phew!

I think we are working hard on upper teeth and possibly a regression. All night I spied K standing in her crib and I think she's trying to bite the top rail of her crib. I didn't go to her and she went back to sleep on her own but she definitely struggled with sleep all night.

Finally a good night of sleep. No wakeups, she slept from 7:30 pm - 6:00 am. I've upped her food and started giving her finger food. She seems to love finger food eventhough she's toothless.

@BandDmommy: interesting food connection. We didn't do as much food this weekend as she got at school last week. I'll have to keep an eye on that.

@AngelicOne: Xander gets like that from watermelon juices! He's not allergic, but there's something in the juice that bothers his skin. I'm guessing berries and/or apples would be even worse. I have a skin reaction to apples. Hope your LO doesn't have an actual allergy.

@Adira: so scary!!! I'm glad you caught it and he's ok!

@BandDmommy: maybe it was a growth spurt?? Ryan has no teeth but does really well with finger foods and gets upset when we try to withhold.

We are on vacation at cape cod with my family. Husband went back to work today so in here Til Friday solo. Not sure this was a great idea lol! Ryan has been waking a lot and is up so early. Last night bed at 730 up at 1030. 1. 230. Up for day at 520. I know we are in a strange environment but seriously?! He takes a good car nap every day thankfully! The beach is no day at the beach with 2 kids though.

@MrsF: awww poor baby!!!!
@AngelicOne: G gets a little red with watermelon? But only if I dont wipe the juice of quick........
@MamaG: standing in crib..... crazy
@BandDmommy: Hopefully that helps
@winniebee: hopefully it is the strange location and he settles this week and at home again for you

If you feed at night how often if there are multiple wakes?
Usually we have 1 where she demands to nurse
Lately if there is another wake she sucks my neck and kicks her feet in protest if I just rock her......lol
If DH is home I send him in she seems to settle quicker but sucks his neck too
Maybe I need to up some food too?
