@snowjewelz: mine was the one time we had sex in 2 months. I was gone for a month and so felt bad for DH.

@snowjewelz: I think so? The dates still don't make any sense but there's only a few potential chances of conception!

@snowjewelz: yay for STTN!!
I am loving all these updates!! Love these babes
@MamaG: I think H's height is mainly in his torso, too (like his dad. Ha). So he is almost into 24 mo onesies, but still in 18 mo pants.
I need bows or something for H; his hair is always in his face. Although people generally think he is a girl, so that probably wouldn't help. Ha!!

Age: She was 9 months on the 11th
Teeth: 2. Although none of her front ones, just her two top incisors.
Milestones: she crawling, although more of an army crawl, and cruising everywhere. If you hold her hands she'll walk around the room with you. She's too busy moving to worry about saying words or do any hand motions yet.
Her 9 month visit was today and she's 27 inches (25th%ile) and 15.4 lbs (5th%ile) which is pretty consistent with where she's been.

@magnolia: Hey you! I love his name and he is a cutie! K doesn't STTN either... I had decided that we aren't doing sleep training either bit just keep doing things to help her along. I see improvements once we got out of the regression!

These babies are soooo cute!!!

Tell me about your LO: super happy baby, is dying to keep up with his big brother. He's very loving and seems to be pretty silly. A very mischievous crawler and gets into everything. Had to remove wine bottles from a wine cabinet today!! He seems to have no fear. Loves loves loves to eat and will eat anything but loves fruit.

@magnolia: Hey, he is stinking adorable! STTN secrets I have no clue I can't do CIO, she really came to it on her own!

@magnolia: one of K's favorites is hummus so it sounds like our two would be perfect for a date together! Ha!

@winniebee: his smile is too cute
@FaithFertility: @snowjewelz: yeah we are waiting it out... I get really annoyed when people tell me "oh one night he will just do it"... But CIO and other training is not for us. Luckily we have a good bedtime routine and falling asleep isn't too bad.

Name: Matthew
Age: 9 months (10 months in 8 days)
Milestones: crawling, pulling up using our hands, high fives (to the people at Costco), walking with assistance from us, trying to talk & wave bye-bye.
Tell me about your LO: M is such a silly kid. He's usually pretty happy and makes the funniest faces. Not STTN (been waking once to eat lately though so improvement!!) He loves yogurt, cheese and noodles. He loves to chase the dog (and sometimes the cat) around in circles while walking. He wants to be on the go all the time...now that he's crawling, it's not enough and he needs to be walking.

I've been lurking too but I love this update thing! And I like periodically checking in on you ladies and babies!
Name: Frankie
Age: 8.5 months
Milestones: crawling like a maniac, pulling up, clapping, 6 teeth. Kind of crazy looking back from 6-8 months!
Frankie is I think the biggest baby ever. Haha! He weighs at least 27 lbs and is about 29-30 inches. He's obsessed with nursing and takes 4 oz or so only of expressed milk from the bottle while I work 9 hours. He's so happy and cuddly. He has no stranger anxiety at all. Obsessed with our two dogs. Sleep is not great, we bedshare and he nurses sometimes all night, with a 4h stretch or so on his floor bed. He does naps on his floor bed too or held by DH when I work. He loves his daddy and he's great with him, but I am definitely his favorite person in the world and I love it so much.

@winniebee you freaked me out this week and I took a pregnancy test! Negative. Not quite there yet! Maybe next year at this time.

Name: H
Age: 9.5 months
Milestones: Crawling everywhere and getting into everything. Loves climbing stairs. Cruising all along our furniture, walls, whatever. Often with his favorite toy of the moment in one or both hands. Ha. Standing for teensy periods unassisted, when he isn't thinking about it. Loves walking using our hands or the walker. Clapping. Has said mama and dada, but isn't saying consistently so I'm not calling it yet. He does say 'boof' for our dog, Buster, which is the cutest thing. Likes to give open-mouth kisses to our necks, Buster, and his little buddies in his music class. Haha. So sweet.
Tell me about your LO: Sleep is just not his thing, although his naps have gotten much better, and I think we are hopefully out of the nasty 8-9 mo regression. He is a super happy but contemplative babe that is constantly moving. Always. He is obsessed with his brother Buster, and loves to give him kisses. He eats finger foods very well, although still isn't eating a ton at this point. Loves to drink from his sippy cup by himself. When we are out and about, he is very serious - he loves taking everything in!! And recently he has become very interested in trucks, buses, etc. Can't believe he is getting so big and old!!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@magnolia: still not sleeping through the night here (not even close. Ha). And I love his name!! It was a strong contender on our list

Anyone else putting EVERYTHING in their mouth?
G finds a piece of dog hair and will act as if she is eating it, drives me nuts........I dig in her mouth 100 times a day to find nothing...lol

Name: Jack
Age: 9 months (10 months next week!)
Milestones: Crawling, pulling up on everything, starting to cruise a little bit.
Tell me about LO: Jack is a cuddly, silly boy. He's not always happy (he always seems frustrated that he hasn't moved on to the next physical milestone yet) but he loves to laugh when someone is playing with him (mostly big sister). He has 8 teeth and LOVES to eat. He hardly even drops any food on the floor for the dog. Must get every bite in his mouth! Still nursing like a champ as well. We're having so much fun watching his big personality emerging
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@FaithFertility: oh, yeah. Everything in the mouth - wood chips, leaves, and sand at the playground, random lint or dog hair at home, etc. Electrical cords. Ha. He hates it when I feel in his mouth though. (I don't really blame him!) He gets into seriously everything that he can reach. And he literally pulls himself up on our oven, desk, and tables (like, feet off the floor, doing pull ups), so we need to be really careful about things that are on top of high surfaces too! I have to lock our oven because he was doing pull-ups on the bar and I am worried he is going to pull it open on himself.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: J puts absolutely everything in his mouth. It's so gross, but totally normal at this age - it's their favorite way to explore the world!
In fact, I just realized I never told you guys that J swallowed a wood chip last week I was at the park with both kids and I had to put him down so that I could lift M on to the swing. I knew he would try to put the wood chips in his mouth, but I didn't have much other choice. I could feel one in the back of his mouth but couldn't get it out before he swallowed it! He was breathing fine and able to swallow water fine. He burped a few times and brought up lots of water and a few little pieces of wood. I was with a friend who is an ER doc so at least we had two medical people there if it had obstructed his esophagus or (god forbid) his trachea. It really scared me though - it's so hard to keep him safe while trying to watch big sister as well!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@theotherstark: Ha. I guess wood chips are popular! Good call on locking the oven - M pulled our dishwasher open onto herself when she was this age. I totally forgot about that but it was kind of scary because it sort of slammed down on her as she fell over. Ugh - these kids!!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@MrsF: that is so scary! I'm glad he is okay. I worry about it and I'm just watching him, not a toddler as well. And yes, he almost pulled the oven door down on himself the first time! Thankfully I was right there. I had no idea it locked, but am so glad it does! These crazy kids!
