@winnibee: we haven't switched yet. She still fits fine. The only reason I may switch anytime soon is bc the NextFit is just sitting in our basement! Although I suppose having a convertible available means we could use it for either kid, as opposed to having the bucket seat extra and only being able to use it for E

@winniebee: Jack is just over 20lbs. I got a new car so we decided just to put the convertible seat in (it was just sitting in the basement). I miss the baby bucket sometimes for its convenience - but it was getting SO heavy.

I only miss the bucket b/c I can pull out the hood and drape a blanket over and she naps better that way. She doesn't really nap in the convertible. But that's the only thing! I am weak and just cannot even carry it with her in it. And it's annoying to get her in and out b/c it goes so "in". Oh and our straps were twisted all the time!

E only has about 1/2" until he's too big for the infant. He's 29.375 and the max height is 30".
@snowjewelz: Hate the twisted straps!

@snowjewelz: ok so I figured out why G is still in her bucket seat, SOOOO convient if she falls asleep to just carry in bucket and let nap continue...lol
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: oh yea! she wakes up with tranfers (only ONCe she didn't) so that didn't matter to us lol. but that is def a huge pro!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: haha yes, I have taken her from bucket to crib a few times but not often

Thanks we are going looking soon, can't wait to see how long she is at her apt next Wednesday!

pomegranate / 3973 posts
@winniebee: I can't read it but I'm assuming your pregnant? Congrats!!
@KayKay: Agreed. You guys make me want to be prego again sooo bad! But 'financially' we need to wait. Stupid money.

@winniebee: Ahh! You are pregnant again? Congrats!!!
ETA - wall me so you can tell me what was in your post!!!

@KayKay: I've been SO on the fence but all these announcements are pushing me towards the 3rd. Life is crazy (and expensive) enough already, but if these guys can do it...
we'll see

We were just talking about #2 since I was talking about my period, how heavy/painful it is, but how I don't want to go back on pills just to have to go off of it again.
We are not SUPER careful right now, but not completely not preventing either. With K's bad sleep I really need us to be in a better place with that first! Plus I am so in love with her that I don't want to share her yet, haha.

@winniebee: Congrats again! Now R has to figure out this sleeping business, stat!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@josina: I suspect pretty early. Other than the cramps and spotting yesterday I feel very normal.

@MamaG: oh my god. I need a few months of STTN before another baby....
pear / 1961 posts
@mrsf: i know, right? i was actually planning to get IUD out next month and do some NTNP. but i can't decide whether we should actually TRY or not.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@KayKay: they key to getting pregnant is apparently not trying ; )
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: That's what I'm saying! But then sometimes, I'm just like I might as well not sleep for a few years straight lol. If I slept great, then have to go back to not sleeping, that would suck too!
pomelo / 5298 posts
Oh, and just for the record, count me out on being next We are done, finished, closed up the baby making business permanently.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MamaG: haha, we haven't taken permanent measures yet, but we're done too!

@winniebee: Congrats!
We'll have another, but don't plan on trying until June or so next year
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@AngelicOne: Oo, maybe we'll be TTC/pregnant buddies again! I'm open to trying once K turns 1, but it's probably more realistic/ideal to wait till she's 1.5 so they are more like 2.5 apart.

@winniebee: congrats!!!
I've yet to get my AF back yet, so it seems unlikely I could get pregnant now, but who knows! My initial thought was too start trying at 1 year, but my SIL is planning a Disney world trip for Dec '16, and I'd like to go (without a newborn!) so instead may wait till the summer to try.... But we'll see...

Hey ladies, hope you are all well. I haven't been on hellobee for MONTHS for some reason. I just stopped reading it but I came back to post a thread asking for tips for entertaining Lila on a flight I'm taking so I thought I'd check out this thread and try and catch up on the gossip. Is it cheeky to ask for mini updates on all your little ones? I see some of you are pregnant!! Wow congrats! We are thinking about ttc but might wait until next year but we are ntnp right now so we shall see.
Lila is doing really well. We had 4.5 months of colic hell but after a tongue tie correction things got much better. We found out she is allergic to dairy, eggs, wheat and peanuts so that has been challenging. She is a pretty good sleeper after we ST at 6.5 months. We have ups and downs but she started STTN at 8 months although she does wake for the paci still now sometimes. She is very high maintainance. Definitely not an easy going baby but she is the cutest, sweetest girl.

@Mrs.Lilac: Nice to see you on here again. Glad to hear Lila is doing better in the sleep dept finally! Sounds challenging dealing with all of those allergies. She is too adorable!!!
Matthew is not STTN (teething...has one through & another on the way), he's crawling, and just wants to go all the time.

@winniebee: omg congratulations!!! So excited for you. So, "you can get pregnant when..." What?! Haha. So curious
I wonder how far along you are! Eep. Exciting.
@Mrs.Lilac: she is such a cutie!!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Mrs.Lilac: Nice to see you here! She is such a beauty! I'm so glad that life with Lila has improved so much. She sounds a LOT like my daughter (colic, food intolerances, very very high-maintenance baby). She is now almost 3 and it's hard to imagine that she was such a monster baby.
Jack is a chubby little guy with 8 teeth and an appetite for anything Sleep has been a bit tough lately (naps in particular) but hopefully it's just because he has a lot going on developmentally. He is crawling like crazy, pulling up on everything and generally getting into trouble. Between him and big sister they're keeping me on my toes!
