@BandDmommy: Wow amazing naps!
@Adira: ears do you think?! I'm sorry
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MrsScallop: Ryan very rarely sleeps through at night. He sleeps 730-630 with usually one waking. Naps are around 3 hours total -- 1 in the morning 2 in the afternoon, 1.5 each, 2 in morning one in afternoon. I never know what to expect. Some days suck though! He's just started walking so has had more night waking a I think because of that?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@FaithFertility: @winniebee: Not sure. He's not acting like his ears are bothering him... now it just seems like a nursing strike.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: I'm sorry, that stinks!
G still is barley eating!!! Yesterday maybe 1 meal in total?!
That is the most she has eaten since Monday?!
Today nothing...
She is drinking formula just fine so that helps but man o man!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@FaithFertility: so hard when they don't wanna eat
@Adira: strange....are you down to morning and night nursing?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: it is I just don't know what to do for her! She seemed better yeaterday , but today is having coughing fits and miserable
persimmon / 1328 posts
@AngelicOne: @KayKay: @winniebee: Thanks! Charlie seems pretty tired most of the day when he parties at night, so I wasn't sure if that was the norm or not.
@FaithFertility: Sorry she is so sick! At least she is still drinking her formula. I wonder if her throat is sore and making her not want to eat anything. I hope she gets better soon!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: Poor kiddo! When J gets sick it seems to hang around forever too
@Adira: That's so hard! Were you down to only nursing morning and night? I forget.
@winniebee: I hope the packing (and hopefully sleeping!) are going well.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: During the week we are just nursing morning and night, but on weekends I usually nurse him before his two naps too. He's having none of it though. Definitely a nursing strike. At least... I hope. I'm not ready to be done nursing forever...
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsScallop: Could be! She is eating some rotisire chicken (her favorite) so that is good!!!!!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: it definitely stinks! Plus I feel awful again, so I have no energy
persimmon / 1328 posts
@Adira: sorry he is on a strike I hope you are both able to figure out soon.

Holy cow G is on a roll! Would NOT let us put her back in crib was up for over an hr

@adira: bummer about the nursing strike! would you rather him go back to how it was or just be done with the day nursing?
@faithfertility: glad she ate a bit more, although up at night is brutal! hope she is feeling better. both my girls are fighting something -- K keeps breaking out in little hives and acting kinda loopy, but just has a very low fever that comes & goes.
@winniebee: hope the packing (and relaxing!) went well!!

K has a cold. Lots of coughing overnight. And today's nap hasn't been great. I wonder if her throat is hurting.
nectarine / 2210 posts
K's birthday was yesterday and went really well! I'll have to upload pictures later since I don't have any on her phone. But she picked up the entire cake with both hands to eat it.
Also for words, the only ones she's saying are uh-oh and hi.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Nope. No nursing since Friday morning.
@KayKay: I wouldn't mind day weaning, but I was hoping to keep nursing morning and/or night for a few more months!
eggplant / 11861 posts
Pray for us tonight, G skipped her afternoon nap and is falling a sleep eating dinner! Bath in a few and bed!!!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Adira: I'm sorry hang in there!!
@FaithFertility: yikes good luck! Ryan didn't really nap this morning but took a super long pm nap. Maybe she will sleep like a rock tonight.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Ryan's full on walking! Crawling more than walking still and when walking wants to be sure he can go to an object or person. But he's doing it all the time as of his 1st bday. So cute.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: I stretched her until 6:45 so not bad! She was playing in the tub
So cute with the walking!!
G has taken a break..due to being sick....lol
honeydew / 7283 posts
@MamaG: Poor kiddo. It's so hard when you can't really tell what's bothering them.
@Miss Ariel: Happy Birthday to K! The thought of her with the cake in both hands is great
@Adira: I'm sorry. Have you been pumping?
@FaithFertility: I hope she sleeps well! J skipped his afternoon nap yesterday...
@winniebee: Awww - he decided he was one and should be walking

@winniebee: Yay Ryan!
@FaithFertility: Hope she's sleeping well! We went to the zoo today to celebrate M's little neighbor friends 1st birthday. He refused to sleep while there, and only took a 20 minute car nap on the way home....he managed to stay awake until 7:20pm, which was surprising.

M still wakes like twice a night for a bottle (only about 2 ozs as I'm trying to wean him off these feedings). He's always laid on his back in the PnP to drink a bottle, but the past few nights, he screams & flips over to belly immediately if I try to give anything to him (but he will lift his upper body & drink the bottle that way...looks like a yoga pose LOL). I know he needs to work on soothing himself when he wakes like this. Think having a blanket (he has bunches of A&A blankets) or a lovey will help? He hasn't really attached to anything since he was 6 mo or so. He also still uses a sleep sack. Is a blanket & sleep sack too much? Oh, and he hates diaper changes & getting dressed, so I'm not sure if just hates laying on his back that much or what.
Sorry for the novel! I can't wait until he gets moved into his own room.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Wow, I can't believe he's walking! Go R!
@MrsF: Yep, been pumping. It sucks. Hopefully it'll keep my supply up until this nursing strike ends... if I can last that long.
@AngelicOne: I just gave Logan an A&A blanket to sleep with - I think he loves it - he rubs it against his face to self-soothe and it definitely helps him fall asleep.

Well 6:45-6 First day back to her sitters today! DH is so sick I pray she doesn't get that!
This is awful!!!
I am so sorry for those sick/have been sick it SUCKS!!!

Taking K into the ped this morning. I'm not normally quick to go in with a "cold" but she cried off and on all night last night. There was more crying than coughing. And since she's ear infection prone...We already have a consult with the ENT on Thursday, but if she's infected, I don't want to wait that long. I'd rather get started on antibiotics and get her back to sleeping.
pomelo / 5298 posts
@Adira: Still refusing to nurse this morning?
@AngelicOne: K has a small jellycat elephant that she snuggles with. We also leave a receiving blanket or A&A blanket in her crib too.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MamaG: Yes. Had to pump when I got into work. Hope K is okay and feels better soon.
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@Adira: Bummer about the nursing strike when you're not ready yet.
Words here are pretty much just mama, dada, dee for deer, kee for kitty, and sis. Those girls are kicking butt on words!
@AngelicOne: E has a couple light blankets that he'll hold and a bear that plays heartbeat noise, not sure if those actually comfort him or not though. He sometimes STTN, sometimes up once.
@MamaG: Poor girl!
Forgot my pump today, but I did go all day Saturday and Sunday giving bottles during the day, so hopefully don't need it. We are nursing usually 6 am, 6 pm, 8 pm, and maybe once MOTN.
Last night DH put him to bed and he just laid there and fell asleep, no crying or bottle - guess we need to try that more!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Oh, forgot to mention, as of today, we're officially done with bottles! He got his last bottle on Friday and now he's getting his milk in a sippy. He did great over the weekend with the sippy, so I think he'll be fine.
nectarine / 2053 posts
@Adira: aww sorry about the nursing strike! but yay for no bottles!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Seems like everyone's battling something!
K is still sick too, not too bad but her cough is so congested. Dr said no fluids in lungs or anything though, so we just have humidifier and vicks going.. Planning on finally getting on the essential oils wagon too to help.
I'm 99% sure her molar is bothering her too. She went to sleep fine last night but woke up multiple times and would not go back down. Finally at midnight we caved and gave her Tylenol and she slept till 7.
Her eating has been spotty too, I guess depending on how she feels! She is constantly striking the high chair now, it's so frustrating! I know we are supposed to make meal times a good experience, so I'm not really sure to always force her to sit in her high chair, or be more lenient for now...
I love walking! So much fun but she def is getting into so much trouble!
We're still keeping her night time bottle for now. She doesn't need it to fall asleep, so we'll probably drop it by the end of this year.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: Aww I am sorry he seems to be self weaning!
@josina: That's great!! K hasn't been falling asleep as well by herself lately with being sick and molars and what not!
@MamaG: oh man! I'm sorry! K was like that too last night, but I know it was her molar that came out.
@AngelicOne: A lovey def helped K. She loves to stroke the bunny's ears as she tries to fall asleep!
@winniebee: hope you got to pack in peace this weekend and got lots done!
@FaithFertility: hope G feels better!!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: I feel like E hasn't been eating much either the past few days. He'll snack on Cheerios/crackers throughout the day, and will eat a little fruit but I don't think it's enough, especially if I cut out the bottles.
So for now we're keeping bottles although he does take a sippy too.
For him he would rather squish on the peas with his finger than eat them! lol.
persimmon / 1050 posts
@Adira: Yay for no bottles! M has been playing with his A&A blanket in the car, so I laid him down with it for his nap earlier. We'll see how he takes to it.
@MamaG: Poor K! Hope she's better soon.
@josina: Good job E! Hope he keeps it up.
