@mamag: awesome! not that you should've/did have any qualms about the surgery, but isn't it SO satisfying to hear that it was definitely necessary? so few things are cut-and-dry when raising kids -- it's always nice to have something be like: yep, i made the right decision for sure glad the anesthesia wasn't too bad and that you are all home recovering. double bonus points for moving quick enough to get it in this calendar year! you rock, mama.

@FaithFertility: I'm pretty sure after one they aren't really any food restrictions.

It's so weird having someone watch D instead of me. I'm more productive but makes me a little sad she's having fun without mommy. I think daycare will be easier than having her here.

@MamaG: I'm so glad that the procedure went well and it's behind you! Hopefully 2016 is much healthier
@snowjewelz: Poor K! These baby colds are never-ending
@BandDmommy: That is hard. When I work over nights the kids are here with our sitter so that I can sleep the next morning and I always feel kind of weird about it. I hope the transition to daycare makes things easier!

@MamaG: Glad everything went well.
@FaithFertility: M definitely loves him some lunch meat. PB & J's are the sandwich's he devours the most though. LOL
Hopefully 2016 is better to you guys when it comes to all these sick babes.

So K's fever spiked up to 104 around 1am. She woke up crying and was SO hot. Almost took her to the ER but after much googling I guess they can get up to 105/6... We just gave Motrin, cooked her down with cold towels. Thank God we all went back to sleep and she is ok now. But we are home from school and I took off from work. I'm soo over this!!

@snowjewelz: Scary. We had that when Brennan was a baby, I was ready to take him to ER, but I called nurse hotline and they pretty much made it seem like not a big deal. But very scary for first time moms. My best friends son has seizures when he gets temps, I can't even imagine. So scary.

@snowjewelz: Oh yikes! That's a scary high temperature! Poor baby. Hope she feels better soon!

@BandDmommy: aww hang in there, I am sure daycare will be much easier for you!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: @Adira: @FaithFertility: we were pretty freaked out but googling actually helped haha. And helped that the Motrin brought it down a notch and she was able to sleep. She is happy as a clam today so I really don't know what that was.. Her nose is still a faucet and cough very congested.

@snowjewelz: Maybe her bodies way of fighting it off? Now it broke!?
Glad to here she is in good spirits!!!
With my DH we would have been in E.R. ASAP..lol

@FaithFertility: I'm heading to Disney World first week of January. What's weather like. Shorts?

@snowjewelz: Scary! I freaked with E's first fever and it was only 101. But google has since informed me that fevers are a GOOD thing and mean he/she is fighting it off. So hopefully that means she won last night and will be better soon!
@BandDmommy: That would be so hard to hear them playing and be stuck working! I agree that daycare will probably be easier!
@Adira: Still on strike with Logan?
@FaithFertility: We will be in the high 40's for Christmas... Wish we had the snow back from last month!
E was up twice last night at 11:30 and 2/2:30; wouldn't go back to sleep in his crib so he ended up in bed with us, sleeping sideways across the entire bed, lol with a tiny amount of room left for DH and I. He's lucky I love him.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@snowjewelz: Oh poor K! It's so hard to see them uncomfortable Glad she's feeling better this morning!
@FaithFertility: @Adira: After last year I'm grateful we're not covered in snow (yet) but the warm, humid weather for Christmas seems wrong!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@BandDmommy: Yes!!! But then again we have weird weather we will be 86 then BAM be 70 and 50 at night...
It was 65/70 this weekend now 85/86

@BandDmommy: Sorry!!! Keep an eye on the forecast, hopefully you will get a cold front, Orlando is about 2 hrs north of me so they are always a bit cooler!!!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@josina: Yep, day 12.
@MrsF: I'm just worried that all the snow is still coming, it'll just be condensed into January and February.
nectarine / 2210 posts
@FaithFertility: same here! It's supposed to be 82 on Friday with rain.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: we do pampers dry at night. I also hear people liking huggies overnight
@Adira: oh yeah, I think we are gonna get hit next year for sure with the snow! I totally agree 60 and rain is just lame too
@josina: yeah I think that's what made me feel better that her body is doing its job!
Ugh K seems to be heating up again. Was fussy and fighting her nap.

@snowjewelz: Ugh, sorry! Time for some more motrin?? Or tylenol.

@snowjewelz: poor baby! those super high fevers are so scary!! T had one that was 104.7 when he was 8 months....will never forget that panic!

Been sleeping since 11:30... On me... I'm so hungry! Takes me back to the newborn days!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: it is sweet except I am starving boderline hangry! But she cries when I put her down
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: I know with Logan, when he falls asleep on me, he cries when I put him down, but it's usually only for a couple minutes and then he falls back asleep. Though if she's been sleeping on you for an hour, she will probably just wake up for good if you put her down....

@snowjewelz: Hope you finally got to eat!
@FaithFertility: @Miss Ariel: I'll take your 80's for Christmas. It's only going to 57 here for Christmas (which is cold for us!)
