We have our 4th molar. And the 530 am rising to prove it

@winniebee: ugh - brutal! since our trip to MI, E has consistently been up before 630a. i really want to go back to the 7a wakeups we had after the time change!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: Yep we are on our last two too the top two seem to be taking FOREVER... big lumps and I am just starting to see those teeth poke!
We had a bad night and she woke all stuffy too, praying that is the teeth!

@winniebee: Don't worry I'm with you 6:30 here today and that is a "win" lol

@KayKay: Hope her wakes go back to 7, it's amazing when they do!!!!!

I think K's done teething for now (I have no idea when canine's are supposed to come in, and 2 yrs molar don't come in till they're 2...??) so if her sleep is bad I have nothing to blame, haha! But I never really blamed anything on teething though b/c I was never sure, and I really don't think teething bothered her that much...
She has been totally fighting bed time again, but I think it's b/c she knows she has a choice to say no, haha. I know she's tired... My remedy now is just to stuff her into carrier at some point and she'll pass out.

@FaithFertility: Oh no, at least its a Friday! I don't know what E's deal was but thank goodness is was just the one night. He has been teething but it doesn't usually seem to bother him much.
@snowjewelz: Ethan's been fighting bed time too.. like last night I asked him if he was ready to go to bed (After the first try failed) and he grabbed both my hands and pushed me back to the couch and sat with me. It's too cute to say no too!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@josina: These tricky lil stinkers! Haha! I've tried just laying there and ignoring her.. She'd start asking for a hug, kiss, pointing out all my facial features, doing weird things to make me laugh... ANYTHING but sleep!

Booked my first "Mommy" vacation away from DH and G! Girls from work 2 night get away , close to home but I'm excited!!!
nectarine / 2053 posts
@FaithFertility: that sounds like so much fun! I wish I had close girl friends to do a getaway with!

@FaithFertility: That's exciting!
@snowjewelz: I want to say T got his canines from 20-22 months or so. 2 year molars were from 27-30 months, exactly a year after the 1 year molars.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: Oh good, hopefully we have a break! I don't miss her drooling like there's no tomorrow!
eggplant / 11861 posts
I'm excited, me and DH need this too, but both sets of grandparents are just not that ready to watch her over night....lol
I need to get my sister to watch her for us so we can have a pre-baby vaca
pomelo / 5298 posts
@snowjewelz: C was an "easy teether". I can't recall when she got the canines, but she had her two year molars right at two years. I'm hoping we can wrap this up at 2 years again.

@KayKay: Yay! Congratulations!
All you pregnant ladies are making me feel like maybe I can do this one more time...
pear / 1961 posts
Thanks everyone! And @mrsf: you totally can. Dooooo it!
@snowjewelz: e has 3 of 4 canines already. And I think k had all her 2 year molars shortly after turning 2, so I'm hoping we will be done by then too. I think the canines were the last "bad" ones for us, although I have friends whose kids didn't do very well with their molars. So who knows.

@winniebee: @KayKay: thanks just trying to figure out timing...
@FaithFertility: Aw - that's amazing! We're so lucky

@MrsF: awww hope to see you on a POAS board soon
Slight cold this weekend, runny nose, caugh.. but she seems fine other than at night the caugh wakes her!
No fever, so praying she can go to sitters tomorrow!
We had a beach day planned weather is cold... So wr will see....WTH?! Go home FL you're drunk
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@FaithFertility: I think Mother Nature is drunk. Went from 70° last Sunday to 40° yesterday, back to 70° for next weekend!
Ethan woke up with a cold Saturday also, yay for runny noses and booger rags.

This weekend was horrible! Raining all day on Sat and cold, and cold yesterday. It's getting better this weekend though! The only good thing is that I've been getting more mileage out of her winter clothes (so all their purchases are more justified haha).
Sigh, baby fever definitely died down lately b/c of so much financial stuff we're dealing with. I'm really hoping when we are ready to TTC, we'll be in a better place!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: I actually bought a lot of 18 mo. short-sleeved stuff already looking forward to warmer weather, so now need to get it worn before he grows out of it!
Sorry about all the financial stuff. It really sucks when money has to be a deciding factor. Head vs. Heart. Blech. Hoping things turn up / work out!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@josina: I hope so too! Ultimately I'm pretty sure we'll still TTC when we want to... We're not in such a horrible place that it would be irresponsible for us to TTC.. I have faith that we will be ok!
I almost forgot.. So DD likes to go into our guest room to play sometimes... She likes to play with this old clock that I have. So I told her, "This is a clock" and she repeated a few times. Then of course, she started saying it without the "L"....

@josina: We've already outgrown some of our summer wear too. And since we are done with kiddos it's just been a straight up waste.
K has a weird rash on her legs along her diaper line. It seems to be like a chafing type irritation but I can't figure out how to make it go away. Poor girl and all her rolly polly legs and chub rub
I can see the tip of a canine about to break through. Thank goodness, slowest teeth ever!

@snowjewelz: ha! good party trick i love mispronunciations, especially ones like that!
@mamag: @josina: i keep getting the urge to buy E all of these cute summer clothes (ugh - the endless supply of magazines that show up and tempt me!), but so far have held off by convincing myself that a) she wouldn't be able to wear it now and b) i have some cute spring hand-me-downs from K in 12-18m that she can get use out of on those rare warm days. but once the weather turns, i'm all over it!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: Lol. to clock. Whoops.
@MamaG: Oh no. I really hope E stays in 18 month for awhile!
E has started to repeat us more, mom, dad, hot, moo, so hopefully we're not too far from more words!
Found out Friday that he knows how to 'pound it'. Too cute, I'm assuming he learned that at daycare.
pomelo / 5298 posts
Our weather has been a bit unpredictable here, but I think we are just about into full on summer clothes. The girls haven't worn pants in a week and before we know it they won't be playing outside again because it's too hot. We are trying to soak it up quickly while we can.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Most of her hand me down summer stuff thankfully is 2T! Any additional clothing I've bought I got either 24m and 2T. She doesn't seem to be growing quick anymore so I don't even know for sure if she's going up a size this summer or not! But 2T depending on brand is not even that much bigger so whatever!

K has the opposite problem clothing-wise! She received a bunch of sweaters and jackets for the holidays that were 12 months which she's only now getting into. But it's getting far to warm to wear them, so most of them will go unused.
Her words have really picked up lately. A few recent additions are tea, cheer, night night, and all done/gone.

Also speaking of financial stuff we found out a week ago our company was sold. All the press releases say they'll keep all current staff so I should be fine job-wise for the immediate future, but there's just so much unknown.
Our benefits won't actually switch until 1/1 which in some ways is good since I should be back from maternity leave by then. Although since we were bought by a Fortune 500 company a lot of the benefits would actually be better.
Not that we could have seen this coming but it's turned into a crazy time to be pregnant!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@josina: Our weather has been crazy too (although that's sort of normal for New England). We're all so eager for more outdoor time but we've had some really chilly days lately it's been a little tricky!
@snowjewelz: I'm so sorry that you have that added stress, especially when thinking about TTC
@Miss Ariel: Wow - that's a big change! Great that you might end up having better benefits though
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Miss Ariel: Crazy indeed~ But I totally agree that benefits SHOULD be better!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@josina: Yay for more words!
I actually just scheduled an EI evaluation for Wednesday for J's speech. I'm guessing that he might not qualify, but I'm sick of stressing myself out about it so I think having an outside opinion will help us both.
