@winniebee: What a lovely spot for this to hang
@FaithFertility: I am sure your whole state is grieving... It's so awful.

So G did 2 nights in crib all night again
Just didn't wake! Keep it up kiddo!!

@snowjewelz: It's horrible! I am so sick and so many from my town are going on and on about how they know the shooter, went to school with him....LA LA LA loading yearbook photos, prom photos.... It is just hitting a nerve with me!
It is scary to think he was one of us...... but I feel like some are just going so far from what matters...
Sorry for rant!!!!!! Preggo Hormones I guess

@FaithFertility: Awesome for staying in her crib! E actually made it in his bed till 3:30 this morning, DH said he got worried and was gonna go check on him, lol.
Rant away!

Sorry I haven't been as active on here! Nothing new really to report. Micah is starting to say a whole lot more words!
I am getting a new camera today and I'm just a little (okay a lot) excited about it!

@FaithFertility: So great that she is doing well in the crib!
@whenoceansrise: The new words are so fun! And yay for a new camera

J is doing great speaking and is definitely having some sort of a language explosion - we actually decreased his EI sessions to just monthly check ins. He's starting to have some little 2 word phrases, which is cute. M watches "dinosaur train" and J spent the morning running around saying "all aboard!" today. Adorable

@MrsF: So awesome to hear!!
I am absolutely LOVING this age!
We have some words/phrases where I have no idea what she is saying... lol that's fun
She points to her rocking horse and says "Horsie ban-ah"
What is "ban-ah".....lol
pomelo / 5298 posts
@MrsF: Yippee!
We still have a lot of incoherent speech. She's adamant about whatever it is she's saying. I try to just keep encouraging it anyway possible.
We've mastered ELMO! C was never a big Elmo follower. She was more about Minnie. K grabs our phones and brings them to us saying ELMO. She gets frustrated when she's told no.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MamaG: Ohhh yes, we have that too! If G sees our phones she wants that darn dinosaur song......
So far telling her it went night night like the pickles works
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Hahaha my phone was dead and charging yesterday and I told her it's sleeping too!

G's sitter told me the boy that was suppose to be leaving in Feb for VPK his mom decided to keep him there instead that was AJ's spot!
There is a little girl leaving in July so we are going to keep that spot for AJ and she will collect 1/2 payment a week to hold spot!
She is a jewel so I don't mind paying up front but man I got so nervous!!!!!

Ryan had his well visit today....little peanut. 31 inches and 21.4 lbs. basically exactly the size of his big brother at this point. He's on track for words (he has around 20, mostly only known by mom and nanny and is supposed to have 10). Pediatrician was impressed by his physical abilities and "assertiveness". She said maybe he tantrums will start early and be over early. Woooosh he has an attitude. I keep saying I won't ever do well visits combined but I do it every time (ty had his 4 year checkup).
Life is going on, slowly but surely. Some days I'm ok and sometimes I am so pissed off at life and just want to retreat and scream and cry. Other days I just cry quietly when I find a few minutes. I'm working a little and trying to do some things to get life back in order. Also going to therapy once a week. I want time to speed up so the pain doesn't hurt as deeply....other times I want time to stand still so I can remember and feel the pain constantly. Not quite 2 weeks out from Dylans birth and death, but each day seems a touch better than the last, even if in some small way. We haven't made any decisions about whether the door is shut on future children. On the one hand, I can't imagine ever going through pregnancy and the heartache off loss like this again. On the other hand, I can't imagine our journey ending with such heartache. Thanks for listening. I didn't know I had so much I wanted to say.
pomelo / 5298 posts
@winniebee: I just can't grasp the range of emotions you are going through. I do know that you are brave for sharing. I hope sharing offers you some form of therapeutic release. I know it's not close to the same but when my mom had cancer she found a lot of healing in talking.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: Sounds like Ryan is doing great - and not stressing about having a little peanut is probably easier the second time around J is only 31 inches as well but we are all quite tall so it's a little strange to me!
I'm glad to hear that each day is seeming a little bit easier for you. I can't even imagine the heartache that you're dealing with. You must have so many conflicting feelings from one moment to the next. Thanks for sharing with us. You know we're all here for you
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: You are one strong Mama! Can't imagine how the days would go emotion wise!
I am glad you know we are here to listen!

@winniebee: My heart goes out to you, I truly can't imagine the heartbreak you are feeling. Thank you for sharing, and so glad that we can all be here to listen at the very least.

@josina: How is E doing at night? We had 2 nights and well back to her waking!
I truly am bad as I am just putting her in our bed, but last night she kicked my face 1,000x I think I am close to being done
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@FaithFertility: lol. E was back in our bed pretty early last night, like 10:30? Feet in my face all night of course. I was hoping the 3:30 night was the start of a new trend, but no luck.
He isn't screaming at bedtime anymore though and will go on his own again so thats good, although DH still has to lay with him till he falls asleep.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: These kiddos I am really struggling with this, I know she needs to stay in crib especially with brother on the way, but I am cherishing the cuddles knowing it won't last, but the kicks I can do with out!!!!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: So good to hear from you. I guess Ryan is made to keep you very busy! You are very welcome to talk here, as much as you want, as often as you want K is a little shorty too! But I always want to add an inch to her official height b/c she hates being measured and squirms!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Yeah, I have no idea what I'm gonna do when when baby 2 gets here too. I think when I get bigger, if we still want to co-sleep, we may seriously consider side-caring the crib t give us all more room... Or bite the bullet and transition her... Ah, I don't know~
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@FaithFertility: Yeah it's sooo hard. I hope he just starts sleeping longer at night in his crib on his own so I don't have to do anything. I know my SIL/BIL just close the door at night so their 22 mo. old HAS to stay in his room, but I'm not strong enough for the cries.
I think DH has come around to enjoying the cuddles too, so thats a +.

our #parentsoftheyear moment last night...
K had a slight temp yesterday, I just think it's a cold (hopefully). But last night she woke up a few times upset and she was hot, but she did go back to sleep with just a bit of fussing and we were both too tired to get up and get her meds so I just let her have a fever I mean, I would've gotten her meds if she couldn't go back to sleep! I figure if she could go back to sleep quickly each time she was up, it wasn't that bad?!
Thankfully it was gone by morning!

@winniebee: I just wish I had the words to say to bring you some comfort.
@snowjewelz: I would have done the same!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@snowjewelz: Sorry that she wasn't feeling well but I wouldn't worry about not medicating here. If it wasn't keeping her awake the fever certainly wasn't hurting her! Glad she's better
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Sometimes a low fever is good on their own! Helps body!!!!!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@josina: Exactly! And this is so bad, but we do get from 8-2 ish alone so we can be us
nectarine / 2210 posts
@josina: we've stopped bringing dd in bed with us in the mornings. Mainly because she now thinks it's time to get up and she'll crawl out of bed, pull on my hand to get me up and then drag me to the sink to get ready.
There was about a week where she was waking up an hour or so before my alarm and I went with it thinking she's go back to falling asleep in our bed. But once we realized it wasn't a phase we let her cry two morning ms without getting her and she's started sleeping in.
She normally wakes up the same time as my alarm now, or there's even been a few mornings where I've had to wake her up.

@MamaG: M is a big fan of Elmo right now. He knows to turn the TV on and hand DH the Roku remote so he can watch Youtube videos of Elmo. Only certain ones will do too. LOL
@winniebee: Thank you for sharing with us. I can't imagine the range of emotions one goes through. Hope each day keeps getting a little bit better for you.
