Favorite activity: chasing her sister and/or imitating everything she does

@josina: The Pool!!!!! G loves the water! I want to.do.swim.lessons but they are so pricey in my area and such a commitment!

@KayKay: Hahaha I need snack!!
@josina: The pics of him on FB are from the sitter right? They look like they have so much fun!
@FaithFertility: We have no extra $ to swing for lessons either! I'm thinking of just waiting till she's older to do it at the town (should be cheaper..?).

@snowjewelz: Yeah I mean I learned by my parents by age 2 both Grandma's have pools so why can't I teach her?
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: haha yeah!! I don't even think I ever took lessons... I remember just getting thrown into the pool and then I knew (totally won't fly today to throw your kid in the pool tho!)

@snowjewelz: Ohhh yeah my Dad let me "fall" in to teach me the edge was not a place to walk

My best friend had her baby girl today via C-section!!!
6lbs 6 oz she is in NICU for breathing issues, but nothing threatening!!
Prayers she is out soon!!!

@snowjewelz: yes, it sounds more like "i nee nack" but, you know. gets the point across
@faithfertility: most of the baby swim lessons around here are mommy & me. we did 2 sessions with E in the winter (since K was doing hers at the same time), and honestly...it wasn't that great. i felt like maybe one session of them would give me the idea of what to work on with that age, and then it's not really worth the money (unless you really like singing songs in the pool! ha). i do know people who have done more intensive ones with their 2 year old...2x/day for a week...and had success with their kids actually swimming underwater by the end. but i'm fine more with playing and being comfortable in the water at this age. K didn't really do lessons until she was 3, and she has progressed SO quickly in 2 weeks of everyday lessons, it seems worth it to wait to me! yesterday she swam 20m+ on her back without any flotation or stopping.

@snowjewelz: Yes, pics are from daycare, we love her. He has so much fun there.
I took swim lessons and flunked level 3, and quit after that. I swim just fine, lol.
@FaithFertility: Lessons would be great! I don't see it happening for us anytime soon though just because of availability. Are there you tube videos for teaching swimming?
Glad your friend made it a bit longer and hope baby is home soon!

@snowjewelz: 35... I thought she was more because her original c-section date was the 27th but I forgot that was even 2 weeks before 40 weeks!!

@josina: Ohh good idea to watch Youtube videos on how to properly teach swimming to them!

We wanted to do swim lessons this summer too. But all the baby lessons are in the morning which doesn't work for us since dh did his schedule so he could work in the morning and spend the afternoon with K over the summer. Oh well... Maybe next year... Although I'm sure that will also be hard to schedule with a second baby around.

New words/funny words: Helicopter and it's hilarious hearing him try to say that one!
New highs: He's getting a lot more independent and will entertain himself for longer periods of time.
New low: He cries anytime I try to lay him down in his crib after breastfeeding but if I give him to daddy and daddy lays him down he's just fine.
Favorite foods: He loves string cheese and cheerios right now!
Favorite activity: Reading books or playing outside
Favorite Song: If you're happy and you know it! He claps his hands and stomps his feet and says "amen!"
Favorite T.V. show/character: He loves elmo and Daniel Tiger!

New Words:light, hug (although according to dh she's been saying it for a while, but last night was the first time I heard it), she also says the name of one of her classmates, I'm guessing asking where he is.
New highs: she now wants to walk into daycare each morning holding her lunch box. It takes forever to do so, but it makes her looks so big.
New low: she gets easily frustrated if she can't do something. For example she likes playing with puzzles but if she can't get it immediately she freaks out.
Favorite foods: broccoli, fruit cups, marinated mozerella balls
Favorite activity: reading books or being outside (just like @whenoceansrise:)
Favorite song: "row, row, row" anytime we sing a song she say it complete with hand motions. Although those three words are as much as she knows.
Favorite tv show/character: she doesn't really watch tv, although loves Minnie ("Mimi"). She also gets excited and knows all the commercials that have puppies in them.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Miss Ariel: She would love Mutt & Stuff.. Nick Jr show with real dogs in it!

She asked for a "Fen Fry" as soon as she woke again today
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: The guy in it annoys me but K loves the doggies! And I somehow feel better when she watches "live" shows? Mmm french fries! Who doesn't love!
Took K to the doctor today for peace of mind... She had a low fever on Monday, then I just thought she has cold but the congestion is getting worse and she is very upset at times so I wanted to make sure it's not bronchitis or any infection in the lungs... Doc just said it's a ton of mucus and dripping! She was like wheezing/spazzing last night so I got so worried!

@snowjewelz: awww hope she gets to feeling netter soon! I hate sick kiddos

@FaithFertility: You're making me crave french fries right now. lol.
@snowjewelz: Aww poor girl! Hope she feels better soon.
E is obsessed with his blankets lately, he has three in his bed that he carries back and forth from his room to living room / our bedroom. Last night he got up at 12:30 and went to the living room to get the big blanket from the couch and brought it to our bed. He woke me up when he was crying because it was too heavy. Silly baby.

@josina: Ohhh my goodness! I am so not ready for G to be walking the house! Brave Mama!!!
These kids are getting so big!!!

@FaithFertility: lol to cravings comment, AF is 2 days late, I'm testing tomorrow.
And to his wandering the house, I have no idea what he's even thinking! He did it the night before too to get a pillow off the couch. Our bedroom is RIGHT next to his room.
@snowjewelz: Glad you're feeling better!

@MrsF: thanks for checking in! Having Charlie home has been great and terribly stressful at the same time. I know very well how to care for him, but being home is so different from ChildServe. Things are getting there for sure, but I thinkbthebtransituib has been slightly harder on us than I expected. Charlie has transitioned beautifully though! He sleeps through the night and wants to sleep in if we let him. We even went for a walk around town today and he handled the sun and heat great. I am so proud of him and still can't believe at times that this is real.

@MrsScallop: how has the nurse been? I hope that's providing some help. That's so awesome that Charlie is handling the transition.

@MrsScallop: That is a great update!!! He is such a trooper! How is big Sis?!
