@winniebee: 7 minutes! I believe it. Logan is usually done one side after 10 minutes.

@Freckles: Ethan is 6 weeks and Im still getting 2 hour stretches. I'm lucky if I get 1 3 hr stretch at night.
He is taking both sides tonight so I'm hoping that means he will sleep longer!
We have been getting smiles for a week now, love all his little faces... Here is one.

@josina: M is 6 weeks too & still only sleeping about 2-3 hrs at night as well. During the day, he's been sleeping poorly & making himself overly tired & fussy all evening.
We get smiles but not always in reaction to us. Usually it's after a filled diaper or fart. LOL He does love to follow the mobile on his swing though.
ETA: What a cutie pie!

@josina: Awww look at that cute smile!
@AngelicOne: oh yeah, mine always smiles after a good poop.

First stretch tonight I'm back to 2 hrs... Hopefully the rest of tonight fares better!
I have barely been on HB bc of the redirecting issue!

@josina: so adorable!
So Micah now only wants to sleep in bed with me. I will finally get him good and asleep then place him in his rnp and he'll sleep for about 15 minutes then he will wake up and fuss until I put him in bed with me. How do I stop this!?

@josina: cutie!
I'm sorry for those that are still suffering in the 2 hr club with me. Last night I got a longer stretch from 915-12! Then 230-5 no feeding but pacifier replacements and lots of random whining and fussing from him so I didn't sleep much of it. But, progress! No random 3 hour awake stretch.

@whenoceansrise: I put my hand on his chest and shhh him when he does that but often take him to bed if it's 5 am or beyond.

@josina: cute!!
We seem to be hovering around 6 - 8 hour stretch followed by 3 hour stretch. D has her 2 month appt on Thursday.

@FaithFertility: any signs of AF? I swear my period is going to start anytime..

@BandDmommy: Yes, that is how I feel! I just stopped bleeding a few days ago from PP blahhhhhhh

@winniebee: glad you got a bit of a longer stretch last night. The random fussing is the worst The babies can be sort of half-asleep grunting and fussing but of course the moms are wide awake!

We had a rough night last night. Lots of activity during the day (and a nail-biter by the patriots). I thought he would be exhausted but I think he was overstimulated and overtired.

@whenoceansrise: we cosleep right now and nurse to sleep so no help! I am planning to start a small form of sleep training this week tho since she will be 6 weeks. Trying to get her to fall asleep in her own for naps at least!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Glad some of you are getting some good stretches! I got 11:30-1:30, then 2 till 6!

I'm not BF so no help there in the period department. I've got my first postpartum period right now and it's horrible. I didn't go through this last time since I had an IUD placed right away. I hope this isn't how my new life is because it's worse than I've ever experienced from a flow perspective.
Our challenging time in the evening is between 11p - 1a. She just fusses and cries. By 1a we have her back to sleep and she will sleep until 5-6a. But she goes from about 9p until 5-6 without a bottle. She doesn't act hungry during that fussy period so we don't feed. I might try tonight though because it's exhausting. DH and I have been trading nights.

@FaithFertility: wow I hope it's not AF yet!
I stopped pp bleeding by end of 2 weeks I think... I really hope AF can stay away for a lonnngg time hehe I don't miss it!

@FaithFertility: after I had B I got my period super early.. Like 6 weeks PP
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Yeah PP bleeding lingered around 2 weeks .....
But like I said I feel AF
@BandDmommy: As much as I'm not ready for it,I would be happy to see my body get its act together......post BC pills 3 yrs ago I would rarley get AF, not ovulate...etc.....so I'm hoping being PG kind of re set my body, and TTC #2 won't take 3 yrs ....

Silly question.. How do you really know when it's time to move up a diaper size? K still fits in NB but I suspect not for long... She was 7 lbs 11 oz and should be around 8 lbs by 2/4.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: SUCH a good game.
I kind of feel like I'm getting my period too! I got the mirena last week so I guess it could just be post-insertion cramping.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@snowjewelz: if the diapers are leaking or look like they're squeezing their little thighs too tight I would size up. You could always get a big box of size 1s to try because you know you'll need them eventually!
honeydew / 7444 posts
@winniebee: that's great!! I'm still waiting to leave the 2 hour club.
@snowjewelz: that's awesome...hope you feel well rested today!
honeydew / 7444 posts
@snowjewelz: I agree with @MrsF: on the leaking. We were gifted NBs a little too late. I put one of them on and thought they were snug but didn't think it would be a big deal until it totally leaked everywhere.

All of the bags are packed (mine and both girls). Bottles are prepped and in the fridge. I haven't a clue what time I need to be up in the morning. But tomorrow morning we will all leave the house at 7:30 am to start our days. I'm anxious and cranky already about it.
Please let it be a fair sleep night for all!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: We switched to size 1 when the nb diapers were getting too snug on his thighs and leaving red marks. Since he's a boy he's pretty good at still peeing everywhere, soaked me again today with the diaper on.
@MamaG: Ahhh! So sorry you are back to work but I will be soon also! Supposed to go back Thursday and I'm already dreading Monday for that reason! I haven't committed to being back that day yet so I may just end up using PTO, although it would be nice to ease in with the 2 days this week and then the weekend right away.
On a positive note I got my baby book out today and noticed that Ethan and I had the same hospital room as my mom and I 30 years ago, room 575. Such a cool coincidence!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MamaG: I can't believe you're returning to work already. I hope you get a decent night's sleep send everything goes smoothly for you.
@josina: Wow! That's such a cool coincidence!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Ugh, Logan had a decent stretch of sleep, but now he's wide awake! I need him to go back to sleep so I can go pump since he seems uninterested in continuing to eat.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: bleh! Would he just hang out quietly while you quickly pump?
