The December moms made some pretty darn cute babies!!!!

@snowjewelz: When I was pumping for Xander, I often got 1 oz per hour. So you getting ~4 oz in ~4 hours sounds right to me!

@whenoceansrise: I unfortunately hated piano; I grew up in Asia & my teacher was so strict. I had to take those tests every year and had to have recitals in front of hundreds of people every year (a big group of teachers rent out an auditorium and have a huge one annually). She made me cry all the time! My sister on the other hand had so much fun learning and still play not bc her teacher was awesome!
@winniebee: I agree! If only we can all meet up, it would be epic!
@Adira: Okkkk, that makes me feel slightly better If I can get at least 4 oz per session every session that I can worry less about going back to work!

Do you ladies think a poor supply could be why Logan rarely goes longer than two hours between feeds during the day?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: I don't think so, my supply seems to be really good, and G wants to eat about every 2 hrs during the day too, wonder why?
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Adira: I don't think so. A lot of babies don't space out day feeds until 3m. He's going longer at night so I bet your supply is good.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@FaithFertility: Maybe they just have small bellies or fast metabolisms.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Okay, that's good to hear! I just remember that Xander was consistently going 3 hours at this point.

@Adira: j is 7.5 weeks and still hardly ever goes more than 2 hours during the day. I think my supply is pretty good too.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: Thanks! Hearing that others are eating just as often is encouraging. Xander just started spacing out his feeds fairly early, so I wasn't sure if this was normal or not!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Adira: I also think it's a matter of if they are awake they want to eat. Or at least that is how Ryan is!

I think we are spurting here. Eating and sleeping all day. I have no idea what he will do tonight! It's 830 and he has been sleeping 2 hrs

We're going about every two hours during the day too, although there's normally at least one that's closer to 3 or 4 hours

K slept most of the day according to her daily sheet. And she's snoozing now. I'm pretty sure her little body is trying to fight a virus. No fever, but still with a wet cough. I wonder if she will still get shots on Monday.

Ok you guys, I have a silly question. If Francis was born on Dec 28 (Sunday), and he'll be 4 weeks on Jan 25, is that his "1 mo" or is it Jan 28? Cause in the following month, 8 weeks is Feb 22, where as Feb 28 is the following weekend!
I am sure I am over thinking this
honeydew / 7283 posts
@junebugsmama: jan 28 is his 1 month. I was calling 4 weeks "one month" with my first until my mom pointed out that I was going to end up celebrating her first birthday way too early!
nectarine / 2210 posts
@junebugsmama: He'll be one month old on January 28. Since each month has different days 4 weeks is never going to be equivalent to a month (unless it's February with only 28 days!).
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@junebugsmama: For months, like monthly photos, I go by the actual month (so Jan. 28, Feb 28, etc.).

I know I'm like a page or so late.... but this is our 1 month photo!

@Miss Ariel @mrsf @adira : Ok, thanks guys! I remember being confused about weeks vs months in pregnancy as well!
nectarine / 2210 posts
@junebugsmama: weeks vs months in pregnancy is even harder to get straight!

@BandDmommy: I got peed on! Mid nursing, he pees and it leaks out the top and soaks his belly and mine!
nectarine / 2821 posts
@Adira: that happened to me the first night home! I was so worries cause he hadn't peed much if at all that day in hospital. We get home, get him out of the car seat, and he'd soaked through! Then, 12 hours later, I am nursing him and suddenly feel so warm. I was just happy cause I wanted him to pee again. Wow those days when they pee so little (I think that was day 3) seem so far away!

K's schedule/routine is completely off today! Nursed around 10 (this has been her prime fussy time these few days) for an hour or so, woke again around 2, then 4, then 6. I was ok even then.. Usually after this ladt feeding we both take a nice long nap together before getting up for the day. But today she didn't go back go sleep! As now I'm nursing her again cause I'm not sure what to do!

We better be in the 6 week growth spurt. That is all.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: I think Logan stole K's sleep. After his 6:00 a.m. feed, he usually sleeps just long enough for me to pump and then he's grunty and restless or just plain awake. But today he slept until 8:30!
And I just got peed on again! I could've sworn I had made sure it was pointed down this time! Grrrr

@Adira: hahahahhaha.. I've actually been pooped on.. Didn't think that was possible
