Oh man. So last night I wante to try putting her down drowsy and it did not work! 2 hrs later we have up and I nursed her to sleep and let her stay in our bed cuz I was so exhausted. She didn't have white noise and left her arms out and still still did 4 hrs?? Now I'm confused!

@josina: I'm a mess! I've already cried multiple times! I've only pumped once so far and got 6 ounces! Going to pump again at lunch and one more time this afternoon. They set me up in an empty office and they're not making me clock out to pump

Just paid my hospital bills! I'm not sure if I have anymore coming or not, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. $300 for Logan and $700 for me. Although I guess $1,000 actually is a lot.

@FaithFertility: Unless you've had supply issues prior to this, I wouldn't break out your stash! Constant nursing and complaining at the breast is totally normal for the 6 week growth spurt!!! This is how your baby tells your body to change the amount and consistency of the breast milk. If you give her bottles too often, your body won't compensate to her needs correctly. Just keep nursing!!
Though, I say that as someone who's never had a supply issue. If you've had one, please ignore my advice!

@Adira: No I don't have a supply issue, but she is mad pulling on nipple I have about......4 bags of about 4-5 Oz in each..... yep...I am just going to let her suck away... lol

@FaithFertility: Luckily growth spurts usually only last about 3 days, so hopefully after that, she goes back to eating more normally for you!

Poor baby J is super unhappy after getting 3 vaccines at his 2 month appointment today
. He slept a ton this afternoon and was SO cranky when he woke up this evening. He kept crying and nursing on and off and then I went to put him in his rock'n'play just now and he puked EVERYWHERE! The poor kid was absolutely covered. My guess is that he was taking lots of milk while comfort-nursing because he was so uncomfortable and he totally over-ate. Who knows though? I'm nervous for tonight!Oh, and he woke up with a crusty eye this morning so now he's on antibiotics for conjunctivitis. I hope we don't all get it. Poor dude's having a bad day!
He did gain 2 pounds in a month though. Kid's enormous
