@MrsF: I don't think it's helping. But he's really only uncomfortable immediately after a feeding so we can't decide if we should wait it out or switch to Prilosec. I said I would give it a week and it's been 9 days.

Last night Ryan did 4.5, 3.5, 3 and I got to sleep til he woke up at 8 since my husband is off so I actually feel rested! I slept 930-8 with two 30 min wakes.

@MrsF: I'm not sure if I'm eligible, though it is the same pump I used with Xander.
@winniebee: Oh man, I hope I'm not getting my period already!
I think it must be the pump though. I got outmy other pump and got 3 more ounces out!

@winniebee: so nice to wake up feeling rested!
@Adira: I got a free pump through my insurance this time. Might be worth calling your insurance company.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: Yeah, maybe I'll do that. At least I have my spare pump I can use for now. I just don't like it as much. Hopefully this doesn't ruin my supply when I return to work on Monday.

G had an ok night after shots never had a fever or got fussy, just super tired and restless, she went to bed at 8:30 woke at 12 was kinda up and just hanging until 1 went back To bed woke just moving around at 2 ...feel back asleep
Then up to eat at 4 and then 7.....had a nice nap in our bed from 7-9
Still seems more sleepy today then normal I'm sure it may take a day or so.....but I'll take a sleepy baby over a fussy one anyday!

I feel like I'm going to jinx it but Micah has been sleeping so good. He only wakes up once around 4-4:30 to feed then goes right back to sleep. I should start trying harder to get him to sleep in his crib or pnp but I like all the snuggles!

@whenoceansrise: Wow that is great, I feel like G would sleep all night if I kept her in our bed...lol
G refused a bottle today her last bottle was last Friday, I feel like with DH back to work over the past week I've just slacked.....she just played with the nipple then got pissed.....these babes

@FaithFertility: have your husband try every day that he is home with you out of sight!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: change your membrane! I read that you are supposed to replace them bi-monthly and they affect output if they are worn out!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: just start giving her at least once everyday again! It took K a few days but she is back to taking a bottle now. She might be fussy from shots Still and wants boob for comfort!

@snowjewelz: I had no idea! I guess it must be time for me to change mine then.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Very true, she wasn't mad at first kinda acted like she forgot how......then got pissed...we will try again!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Adira: Sorry that you have to worry about this right now
@whenoceansrise: Great sleep!
@FaithFertility: sorry about the bottle. We had to give J one every day for a little while to get him back in the groove.
@snowjewelz: Glad K is back to taking a bottle well.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsF: "well" is relative lol. She still fusses but generally finishes the bottle at some point so I call it a win!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Miss Ariel: yea I read that always try to unplug and reconnect everything. Then to change membrane to rule out these easy fixes.

Well... I THINK I'm ready for tomorrow. I'm so nervous that I'm going to forget something. I just need to wash some bottles and remember to thaw some milk for Logan, but otherwise, I think I have everything ready... I can't believe my leave is already over!

@Adira: Best of luck to you, I'm sure all will go smooth!!!! Enjoy today!

@Adira: I hope things go well for you! It's so hard to go back Have you figured out your pump issue?
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: Have a great day tomorrow! I'm already prepping to go back Thurs. I am sooo dreading it!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: No, I'm guessing it's just old. I used it for a year in 2013 for Xander and before that it was my SIL's. Luckily my other pump got my normal amount out this morning, so at least that one seems to be working correctly! I might look into getting a new one though since my working pump is also old!

Harvey finally slept for more than a few hours a time last night. He did 830 to 130 then slept til 5. I hope he keeps this up..
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@magnolia: Yep! He's joining Xander at daycare, although they'll be in different rooms.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Adira: glad you have a backup!
@magnolia: that's great! Hopefully he keeps it up

G 2 bottle 0 she just plays with it and then gets fussy! We will keep trying...they get smart I tell ya!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@magnolia: Yay for sleep!
@FaithFertility: What kind of bottle is it? Maybe try another kind?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: Tommy tippie closer to nature that mimics a nipple, I have a Doc brown can't hurt to try...right?!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@FaithFertility: I've heard good things about both, though who knows! Some babies are just picky. We're using the Avent bottles.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: I started messing around with different kinds of bottles and nipples but what really made the difference was DH putting J in the bouncy chair and feeding him with them sitting face to face. For some reason he wouldn't take the bottle with DH holding him (even though he had done it that way in the past).
Now that I'm back at work part time and he's more used to the bottle he'll let DH hold him and give it.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: keep trying! at least you are still home! it took us a few days, a lot of coaxing, patience and trying diff things! For her bottle wasn't the issue. We used avent and never changed (we did use medela in the very beginning but didn't like their nipples)
nectarine / 2210 posts
@Adira: I start back to work tomorrow too. I'm trying to get as much ready as I can tonight, so hopefully there's no issues tomorrow. Hope we both manage good days tomorrow!
