@snowjewelz: That's probably a good thing to be adverse to!
I only like bland foods, like bread, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies.

@littlek: wow! That's awesome B! My LO has always been kind of a beast. She was 30 lbs at her 2 year check up
@winniebee: I'm 5 feet and DH is 5'7" but LO is always in the 80th percentile or higher for height. The women on DH's side are tallish though so I think she gets it from his side
My LO had to go to the NICU during our 4 day stay for shots and exams bc we both spiked a fever and her white cell count showed whatever uterine infection I had likely crossed over to her. She was 8lbs 8oz and DH said everyone in the NICU was like where did this giant baby come from?!?! And her cries were so loud compared to the preemie babies that everyone was like where's that noise coming from?!?!

@snowjewelz: interesting! I loved sweets so much with my first pregnancy. And all carbs. I am all about fresh chocolate chip cookies right now.
I crave French fries and caprese sandwiches. My strongest aversion is seafood and most meat except a hamburger. I also can't stand onions right now or garlic which I usually love. I don't really crave it but cold fruit is the most agreeable with me right now...love cantaloupe which I usually don't eat. It just makes me feel better when eating cold fruit...like the nausea stops for a second

@magnolia: when do you get in to see the specialist. It's so hard to not Google. Hugs mama.

I'm starting to have more frequent nausea and it's totally strange because I had literally none with my son. Nothing awful but generally just feel hungover all day. Still trying to eat all day sometimes if helps sometimes not.
I want pizza and Cheetos and pickles and Caesar salad.
I've been snacking on apples, yogurt, granola bars, pretzels, bananas, goldfish, and anything else I can get my hands on.

@winniebee: maybe it means a girl for you
I love pizza right now too. And teddy grahams...I bought 3 boxes for myself and hide them from LO

@winniebee: I had plain pizza last night. It was divine! DH must have been shocked to see plain pizza, normally I get tons of toppings but everything besides just cheese made me nauseous to think about.

@sandy: Mmm teddy Graham's. We need to run to the grocery store this afternoon to stock up on snacks!!!!

The other night I had pizza, fettuccine alfredo & garlic knots. It was heavenly.

@littlek: I think I'm taking T out for pizza for dinner. My husband is out of town til tomorrow night and even making Mac n cheese for lunch today was a struggle. I love toppings but I also love plain! And if we go for pizza I can also get a Caesar salad

Oh crap, we have a wedding tomorrow. I have no idea how I will handle a table of meat around me. Meat and I do not get along right now.

@winniebee: Now I want pizza again... DH finished my cheese pizza last night while I was sleeping.. mean man!

In exciting news, I got a mani and pedi today. Tomorrow I'm going to a blow out bar. I'm so excited to get my hair done all pretty. Definitely taking a bump picture tomorrow.

@sandy: We just got season tickets for the Redskins (i'm a cowboys fan so we are guaranteed to see my favorite game of the year (cowboys v. redskins)) and they are playing Seahawks on MNF. I'll be cheering for your seahawks.

@theotherstark: oh my god you poor thing getting sick in public. That was like me on the plane the other week. I was throwing up and everyone around me was looking at me like I was crazy or super contagious. I was so embarrassed. Luckily I don't get the underground to work anymore so I won't have to go through that hopefully!
Iv been really sick at work. I'm a teacher so I had to tell me teaching assistant as I thought I might need to run out of class during a lesson. A friend went to get me some crackers to keep eating which helps but all the kids keep asking why I'm constantly eating! Not pleasant.
Is anyone else the most tired they have EVER been! I feel like taking a nap at work!

@littlek: fun!!! DH has season tickets with his Dad again this year and of course they are so excited. Can't wait to buy some cute baby gear!

@whenoceansrise: That's how I usually am... all veggies, and I could take or leave fruit. So before I started getting sick, I showed down on all the vegies I could handle because I knew I wouldn't be able to tolerate them. And.. I was right. The only thing that consistently sounds good is oranges. Orange juice, sliced oranges, smoothies with oranges in them.. But that's it. I made dinner last night, and it sounded super good to me, sat down and took one bite, and then just ate an orange instead. I know eating all fruit can't be good for me, so I try to mix it up (peaches on cottage cheese, really cold OJ with a sandwich, etc) while tricking myself into thinking I'm still only eating fruit haha.
But that's less of a craving and more of an "everything sounds absolutely AWFUL except for fruit rght now so I'll eat that." Also, crackers started sounding bad after my m/s kicked in full force, so I got a bag of gardetto's (like chex mix, but better) and munch on that at my desk, and it has been very helpful!

@Mrs.Lilac: Man, I felt so bad for you on your flight!! I actually have one coming up in a week, so I'm kind of nervous now. Haha.
And yes, I feel like I've been hit by a freight train lately! Crazy exhaustion. Today especially I've felt really nauseous and tired.
@whenoceansrise: Dang, me too!!

@sandy: Ha, the red cup is a good idea! I totally thought I was still carrying around a garbage bag in my purse, but I must have taken it out. Never again!!!

@littlek: I really need a pedi! As a matter of fact my toes have been teal/blue for so long. I took the polish off finally last weekend and LO keeps asking me why my toes aren't blue and when I will paint them again.
It's sandal weather here in Texas, but I'm wearing my Sperry's today because my toes are not presentable.
Anyone else notice a difference in their hair/nails yet? My hair isn't shedding (YAH!) and my nails are much stronger and longer. I scratched LO the other day getting her dressed, I guess I need to trim them back.

All this pizza talk is funny. Hubs and I just had pizza for dinner!
I haven't had any cravings, but some aversions. I have some leftover quiche from Easter, but the thought of it is totally disgusting to me, even though it was sooooo delicious on Easter! Guess I'm throwing it out. It's probably not good by now anyway.
@littlek: Have fun at the wedding!!!

@theotherstark: I think I threw up on every block in NYC between my apartment and whatever restaurant we went to during my first pregnancy. I think people thought I was a raging drunk!
@adira; @oliviaoblivia; My LO's will be 20 months apart! It's making me a little nervous, to be honest!

@mrsbookworm: I'm just worried about Xander being jealous of the new baby! Fingers crossed these LOs we have love the new babies as much as we will!

@adira: I hope that's true! For some reason,, I feel guilty about the idea of stealing attention from LO. Silly, I know! Having a sibling will be great!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@mrsbookworm: I know, I feel guilty about that too!!! But I think it'll be good they'll be so close in age because once the little one is a little older, they'll be able to play together and HOPEFULLY they'll be forever friends!

@sandy: thanks for the kind words. Trying to stay away from Dr. G @oliviaoblivia: thank you. I am waiting for the MFM specialist office to call me to set up the appointment. It's annoying because I know my Ob office is always busy and my referral might take awhile to go through. I just wished they had explained more about the Rx and issues. Patience is not my strong suit right now!!
@snowjewelz I had no idea they were going to do so many but it's ok with me for now.
