@PrincessBaby: awww, I'm so sorry! Maybe you can ask DH to play interference between you and all the stressors so you can focus on yourself. I wish you could eat something, it could help a lot to bring up your energy and mood too. I don't know much about this but maybe you can try some meditation and visualization exercises? Try if possible to tune out all the distractions. My friend had difficulty progressing same as you and she said this really helped.

@PrincessBaby: Thread stalking!! I felt the same way with my parents/sister there. I just wanted it to be Josh and I because he calmed me down and they just stressed me out. I sent them downstairs to wait. I felt bad at the time but it was totally worth it and once the baby got here they forgot about it. The no food thing was SO hard and I feel for you!!! Chase that family out girl!

@PrincessBaby: Another thread stalker here but just wanted to say that if - and it's a big if - you end up with a c section it could still be a really positive experience. I bonded with Ariela straight away and my recovery has been amazing. The first week was a bitch but it is after any delivery. Since then I've felt great. I'm sure it won't come to that but just wanted to offer a few reassuring words. Good luck, so excited for you that baby girl will soon be here!

@lovebird: such a pretty name! I am so so very happy for you and dying to hear all about the delivery.
I had no one to eat eggplant with today since everyone seems to be off having their babies. No sign of anything going on here. Ate a ton of pineapple and walked (around the stores) a ton today and nothing. No progress whatsoever. Next appointment is Thursday and doc wants to discuss induction. Im going to push for him to let me go to 41wks.

Went in for a check up, all looked so good that they are talking about letting me go past 39 weeks. I know that will be good for baby but I am so tired of being pregnant!

@mrsmenow: wow, so sorry to hear about the cyst. It must not be a very pleasant distraction right now. As if there weren't enough other things to think about now, huh?

@PrincessBaby: sorry to hear about labor stalling. hope it has picked up since! harper will be here soon!
@mrsmenow: hope that cyst doesn't cause you any trouble. i have/had one throughout the pregnancy too and it didn't cause any complications. you're almost at the end!

@gracecat:: I just can't believe how quickly it grew, it definately wasn't there last week when I got checked, ugh.
@kodybear: Thanks for the reassurance. Did they think yours would go away? Silly question, I am so awkward about having sex now-is DH going to hit it and pop it, will he notice it? Not that we are doing the DD that much, but now I feel deformed (yes the 9+ month pregnant woman thinks her 1.5 cm cyst that you can't even see is the biggest problem in the bedroom, lol).

BH have been getting more persistent every day, and they're starting to come along with cramps/random twinges. Must be the warmup.

@lovebird: Congratulations!!! What a beautiful name!
I just wanted to update that Harper James H is here! She is 6lbs9oz and we are so in love! She's beautiful, if I do say so myself!!! I got my vaginal delivery and for all the waiting we had to do, it was worth it bc she was so "ready" and low by the time I finally dilated all the way- It only took 2 practice pushes and 3 real pushes and she was out! I was also lucky to have no tearing and no epesiotomy....Does that mean I have a big vagina???? Lol...
I am posting from my phone but I will post pics of her shortly!
Thanks to everyone for all of your encouragement when I was stalled out yesterday:). I read them and cried, you guys are so supportive!!!

@PrincessBaby. Congrats on baby Harper! Beautiful name!
9 days until my induction date, trying to wait patiently. Hoping he'll come before then because everything seems to hurt except for my uterus! Leg cramps, headaches, hip joints, but no contractions. Trying to distract myself from thinking about it:)

@PrincessBaby: Another thread stalker....Congratulations! I am super happy for you that you got to have the delivery you wished for, bonus on no tearing or episiotomy! LOL about the big vagina...I think it just means you had the right sized baby to fit thru

@PrincessBaby: yay!!!! So glad to hear it turned out nicely in the end, despite the long journey to that point. That's wonderful you only needed to push a few times and didn't tear! You give us all hope. Enjoy your time with your baby girl, I am so jealous btw! Still waiting on mine. Take care of yourself during your recovery as much as you can and keep us all updated on what it's like in the first few days so we know what to expect.
