My labor took me completely by surprise- when I went back to work last week, I found the "to do" list that I had made for myself for the day I had my LO! It made me laugh :).
I was planning to work until I went into labor or my dr told me to stop.... My job only paid short term disability for 6 weeks so I wanted to work as long as possible. I sit for my job though and it's very low-stress, so I didn't have any problem doing that. Better than sitting at home waiting for a baby to arrive!!

I was due on a Monday and had planned to work until the Friday before. We wound up being affected by the hurricane, though, and my office was closed for a week prior to that too, so I was home for a bit longer too.. Also, I was 2 days late and wound up working from home until the day before my son was actually born.
