We actually chose our hospital based on location due to the potentially horrible weather we could have up here. February in Minnesota is notorious for winter storms, blizzards, and ice storms, so we figured the closer to home, the better. While we live in a small-ish town, the hospital is only 3 blocks away. There's a much larger, nicer hospital an hour away, but there's no way to guarantee that I'd be able to make it to the major town, so we figured it was best to stay close and do the best that we can with our smaller (but very decent) hospital.
Does anyone else have crazy weather in February? Did it change up your plans at all? I envy you gals with warm winters...delivering in -20 degree weather is not something to look forward too. Good thing the payoff is amazing
