I'll go first! Ds#2 is quickly approaching 4 months and I'm starting to get worried about the sleep regression. He currently gets up 1 to 2 times a night, and I hope it doesn't become more frequent! He just finished battling his biggest illness to date (thanks big brother!), but he made it through like a champ! Still babbling and lots of smiles! He just melts my heart when we make eye contact in the morning :). He spits all the time, he is constantly wet. We go through at least two outfits and two bibs a day, and not from spit up, just drool.

Lily turned 12 weeks this week! Her new favorite thing is playing patty-cake. She only likes to talk to Dad. Lol. Apparently I'm not as interesting or worthy to babble to.
We are currently trying to move her to her crib full time and it's been rough. Thinking about getting the merlin magic sleep suit. She woke up like 6 times last night.
She is mspi, so my diet has been going OK. It helps that I have a friend in real life who is also mspi. Although, it totally sucked when my MIL brought Reese's pb eggs for Easter. Ugh. Thanks MIL.
Her naps during the day are bad. Only 30-45 min. Although on Monday, she slept for 2 hr 40min!
She constantly has her hands/fists in her mouth. Been trying to work on her grabbing things, but her hands constantly go to get mouth! Lol.
I love going to get her from naps, she always has a smile for me.

So great to check in! Glad to hear others doing well! I cant believe we are approaching 4 months already!
LO is doing great. She has been STTN for about a month now. We have been so lucky with her being such a great sleeper. We had a rough patch after her 2 month needles but she recovered after about 2 weeks.
We stopped breastfeeding at around 3 month because she was battling at the breast at almost every feed. Having a toddler running around I didnt need the added stress of trying to feed LO. We are bottle feeding and its amazing how much she eats! We havent hit any big milestones yet. I do see some bottom teeth so I think those will be cutting soon.
I am so happy to 'hear' from other mamas! I cant believe it was a year ago we were just getting our BFPs!

Glad to hear from you ladies and get an update!!
@Lindsay05: I am so jealous of your LO sttn!! And it is SO crazy that we were just getting our BFP's a year ago!!
My little man is doing. Like you, @MamaBehr: he is getting over his first cold, which was not much fun, but he was smiley even through the stuffed up nose and goopy eyes!
As with @abbydabbydoodlebug: (our babies are sleep twins), we are struggling some nights more than others and naps are all short and numerous, and sometimes hard to get at all! It's really frustrating because I want him to be predictable (like he usually naps 12-2 or something like that), but I have succumb to the fact that's just not going to happen for awhile! I don't know if we are seeing glimpses of the 4 month sleep regression or if it was just his cold, but I'm dreading that!
E is drooling like crazy too! No big milestones, he randomly rolled belly to back a month ago but it was a fluke, he hasn't done it again since! And he really despises tummy time!
He does LOVE to eat. At 14 weeks he weighed in at 14 lb 11 oz, so he has almost doubled his birth weight. He is exclusively breast feeding. Pumping at work can be a challenge but so far my supply has stayed strong (fingers crossed!).
I love my little guy to death. I can't believe how much I love this little human that simultaneously can drive me crazy with his confusing baby-ness and make me love him even more! He is just awesome

@Emsmems: I wish her sleep were more predictable too! It's pretty impossible for me to plan to be anywhere at a certain time. Like today, I'm supposed to go to lunch with a friend and DD decided to not go to sleep when she's supposed to because she had to poop. I didn't know that, of course, so I spent 30 min trying to get her to fall asleep until she finally did. Ugh.
Poop! It ruins everything. That needs to be on a t-shirt or something.

@MamaBehr: don't feel bad we go through at least five bibs and three outfits because of her reflux.
@abbydabbydoodlebug: we want to move LO to the crib, any tips?
@Lindsay05: DD is STTN too! We are also mostly FF so I wonder if that helps keep her full?
@Emsmems: awww, I agree I can't believe how much I love my LO.
We are doing pretty well here. E is growing like a weed and has really started to grab onto stuff this week. She has giggled a couple of times and the sound kills me I part time BF and that seems to be going pretty well. Getting back into the swing of things has been more difficult than I thought. How about you guys?

@MrsH: we started out doing her naps in the crib. She's a bad napper so they were short anyway so I didn't have to adjust with that. I do the same routine every time she goes down and I sway her into she's just short of asleep and put her down. We did naps for a couple weeks in the crib first. We were using the rock n play for night sleep and she was sleeping really well in that. About 6 hours, wake to eat, then another 3-4. I made a little nest under the sheet with a towel, but I'm not sure it makes a difference. I just bought a merlin suit so we'll see if that makes a difference. The first night in her crib was awful, but it's gotten better every night since. We aren't back up to our 6 hour stretch, but I'm hopeful that she'll get back to that soon!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I'm interested in buying the Merlin suit too! You'll have to let me know what you think! And, yes, it's quite amazing how the need to poop can ruin everything... But especially sleep!

@Emsmems: OK I will! I got it off eBay. It's coming on Tuesday I think so I'll let you know after that! I hope it's magical like it's name! Lol.

Hey Ladies! I totally missed this post but am glad to hear about your babies! DD turned 4 months old last week and I cannot believe it... She is STTN now for us which is amazing but just this week has been breaking out of the swaddle and making herself wake up again. Ugh, anyone out there transition from the swaddle? We also just switched naps to her crib from the RNP which was okay. She loves having A&A swaddle blankets up by her face for naps which makes me a little nervous... I am thinking we will need to give her some type of lovey when we unswaddle her. I am back to work part time as well, which has been going well. I feel like I am not quite 100% there though which can be hard to balance everything. We are doing pretty well though. DD is out of the "sleep anywhere" stage which is kind of hard when you are juggling a toddler who likes to do things and go places... We are full of smiles though and it is just so sweet to see DS loving on his sister! Glad to see how you all are doing!
@Lindsay05: @MamaBehr: How do you juggle a baby & toddler's schedule? I feel like I can't just stay home all the time, but going out with that 1 hour window of awake time after she eats is hard too. I end up bringing DD along and her naps suffer for it. She is pretty flexible, but I still feel bad for her!

I really can't believe that my DS will be 16 wks on Monday! We've been lucky( knock on wood) with G STTN ever since 9 wks and the help of the Merlin magic sleepsuit.
He responds quite a bit. His smiles and baby hugs melt my heart. I would love to bottle this time so I can experience forever.
He is a monster eater and I know later on he'll eat us out of a house and home.

It's been so long since I've been on here & I loved reading all the updates. Here is my short book. My little ones are almost 18 weeks (13 adjusted) & are doing great. Baby boy has a mild case of torticollis & is doing PT every other week. It's crazy how much he has improved and advanced since we started PT. He even rolled over from back to front in his crib the other morning. It kinda freaked this momma out. Otherwise they have both been rolling front to back (well sometimes) since they were about two months old. STTN since 9 weeks (thank God) and are on a pretty regular schedule, I thank the NICU for this!
They have been getting so much attention from me having to do PT exercises so much on my son that they have become needy now & expect attention every time they fuss or cry. I'm thanking the holidays for that as well. Aunts & cousins constantly hold them... Grumble grumble lol.
They eat a TON about 6 oz every 3-4 hours during the day. Formula is costing us over $500/mo and that's even with them still getting some breast milk! I've been power pumping & taking Fenugreek & had a tall boy of Guinness tonight hoping to increase my supply as I'm barely making 12 oz/day.
I got the book 12 hrs of sleep by 12 weeks & am trying to sleep train them to sleep 12 hours each night with two naps during the day. I'm not sure I want to do this as their schedule is pretty regular already. Although it would be nice to have more mommy time in the morning & know they will sleep longer in the afternoon. I'm hoping to get more done during the day. Even with help in the evenings I'm always so far behind on everything as my husband still works stupid crazy 90+hrs/week! I was already doing a lot of what this book suggested before I got it so for those of you struggling with sleep issues I HIGHLY recommend it!
@creativemomma15: I broke my daughter of the swaddle a month ago by leaving one arm out of the swaddle for a few days then switch to the other arm for a few days and then unswaddle both arms. My son still needs it to fall asleep. I've been putting him to bed in a sleep sack then swaddling him. After about and hour I go in and slowing unswaddle him & he sleeps well the rest of the night. The first night I did this is when he rolled over on to his stomach. SO SCARY!
