This is my first thread ever despite being on here a while and posting a lot in my first baby's month group!
I imagine I might be lonely here a while, I just got my bfp 4/22 and am due New year's day 2014!! I'm so excited but it hasn't really sunk in yet! I already have one little one who is turning one in 24 days 
Can't wait to see who jumps in!

@cram88: Thanks for starting this thread! I was too shy to, and worried I would be hanging out here by myself for a long time.
This will be our first and I'm really hoping it sticks! I tested positive yesterday (April 24) and my EDD is January 4, 2014 (1/4/14!).
Congrats to all the other January 2014 moms-to-be!

Does anyone have appointment dates yet? I'm going in for a dating ultrasound May 16th and then will get an appointment. It's a few days before my son's first birthday party and we plan to announce to family and close friends then if all is well!

Got my first squinter BFP on Sunday and it got darker yesterday and got a BFP on a digital this morning! This is our second. Our LO is 10.5 months. Eek i'm so excited but yet nervous to have two!

I'm joining you guys. I got my BFP on 4/26, EDD 1/8/14. This is our first and I'm still convincing myself this is real. I have my first doc appointment scheduled for May 31st, they're doing a consult and ultrasound to check for heartbeat and give me a due date. So excited!

I got my BFP on Saturday and EDD of Jan 2, 2014! I made my first appoint for May 27. This will be our THIRD baby (SOOOOo strange!

I'm joining! EDD is Jan 4! We got our BFP on May 1st. This is our second LO. Unfortunately we have to wait until June 12th for our first appointment 
My doctor's office doesn't see you until you are around 10 weeks... I am already anxious to wait that long.
And... Congrats to everyone else with Jan. babies on the way!

@lindsay05 don't worry about two! I have two right now and it is AWESOME! Nothing melts my heart more than watching my daughter be an awesome big sister and my son thinking she is the best thing in the world! I think going from one to two is so much easier than going from zero to one kids! Now, in January I hope I have similar feelings about going from two to three kids!
I have to admit that I'm still in shock about the whole thing! The exhaustion is starting to creep in and I've been having some heartburn. But, as I did with both of my other pregnancies, I'm so worried about miscarriage that I'm super aware of any "maybe" symptoms.
Anyone else feeling anything yet?

I am so excited to join! Congrats to the other January 2014 mamas!! My edd is January 7th. Found out on 4/29 ... I'm like many of you: so bummed my first ultrasound isn't until late May! I'll be eagerly waiting that day. Good luck to everyone! I can't wait to see more mamas here.
Also, so much for 'not trying' to avoid a near-the-holidays baby. It proves that life happens as it's meant to!

@creativemomma15: You have to wait until 10 weeks?!? I have to wait until I'm 8 weeks along and I thought that was long enough. I'm already getting impatient not having seen a doctor at all, I don't think it will fully set in until that appointment. We're trying to hold off telling anyone until then and I'm already finding that hard to do and I still have 4 more weeks to go until that appointment.

@Punky: I know, it feels sooo long! That's how it was with DS too. The only "nice" thing was that we got to hear the heartbeat right away in the office with the doppler. I am very impatient though! I just want to know everything is okay.

@cram88: i know, i'd be more excited if i didn't feel awful. i'm nauseous, bloated, and soooo tired. i've already had to break out the maternity yoga pants, which i wear day and night.

HI! Ready to out myself to the real world (of HB at least!!) I'm due Jan 2nd with baby number 2!
We just got back from the dating scan (because I'd barely gotten AF back after dude was born) and saw the little sea horses heart beat! So exciting!!

How are you all managing the morning sickness so far?? Mine has been WAY worse than last time... I'm basically living off saltines, ginger beer and sprite because that's all I can hold down more than 2 bites of!!

I have been fairly symptom free the last week or so. I do get that 'pulling' feeling still but not much else. Im sure it will hit me like a mack truck soon!

Hi there! I can't believe that I get to post here now I m joining after getting two squinters Monday and yesterday, and a good old fashioned BFP today
This is my second pregnancy, but our last one ended in a miscarriage at 4 weeks on early April. We got the all clear to try right away, but we were just taking it easy...somewhere between TTC and NTNP. Of course we're thrilled, but also a little nervous. I'm on supplements for low P now, so we are hopeful. Bloodwork in the morning to check out and make sure everything looks good. Also, I've got more symptoms than I knew a 4week along lady could have, so I take that as a good sign!
I can't wait to get to know you ladies! We are in WNY, but I'm from PA and have lived all over. Sticky baby dust to all!!
