Hello! Hello! So i'm sort of an straddling the line between Dec and Jan Due Date threads. I found out I was pregnant last Saturday and this board didnt exist yet. @Chillybear: Congrats again. I was a week early with my first. DH skipped TTC in March cause he didn't want a Dec bday, I don't have to tell him yet that there is a very good chance that we will have one anyway.

@Smurfette: For my little one's sake I just hope that i'm not in the hospital for christmas eve/christmas morning. I know she'll only be three but i feel like that would be something that sticks with you.

@Smurfette: @Chillybear: Congrats to you both
I was 7d and 5d late with my two, am interested to see if all is good at dating u/s what EDD might end up at and if all goes well I assume we will still have a January babes!
If we have a December, or Christmas baby with hospital time in there, I still that would be a fun and exciting thing too, definitely not picky on when, just safe healthy arrival!

I feel like this pregnancy is going to fly by and makes me a little sad/guilty because i really cherished my first and this may or may not be my last. We put our house on the market in March and the plan was to wait until we were settled in a new home before really "trying." The morning I took the test, we put an offer on what will be our new house. We're moving out of our house in Mid June, moving in with my parents for 6 weeks, and wont really be in the new house until the beginning of August. I counted the weeks and by mid August we should have our Anatomy scan. Luckily, we're moving closer to my parents, so hopefully they will help me with all the crazy nesting things i want to do but shouldn't be doing, like rearranging furniture and painting.

@Smurfette: @sunnyday: @Chillybear: Congrats! Hard to believe that it's been two years since I got pregnant with DD (born 1.2.15). Enjoy every minute!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@Chillybear: we moved with LO when I was 35 weeks, so at least you will have the energy in August still. I agree though I feel like time goes so fast since having her. I am going to try and do weekly bump pics so I have an album for this pregnancy too. I don't want the 2nd baby to be disappointed they don't have one.

Hello everyone! Happily coming out of lurking to join this board
Location: Vancouver
EDD: January 5 (by LMP, i think it's about a week after that though)
How far along: 4-5 weeks
First child?: Yes!
First doctor appointment: Just got home from my appointment and blood work. Dating u/s May 26
Any symptoms so far?: not really. I had sore nipples for about 2 days a week ago but that's it.
Who have you told?: Just DH. He's SO excited! I'm the primary caregiver for my mum who has leukaemia and this baby is a bit of a gift to her in a way (we weren't planning on TTC until fall, but with her prognosis we moved things up!) so I absolutely cannot wait to tell her! But want to make sure it's a bit more established first.
Looking forward to this journey with all of you

Hi mamas! Just took a test yesterday but couldn't wait!
Location: NY
EDD: 1/5 based on last period
How far along: 5 weeks 2 days
First child? No! DD will be 25 months
First doctors appointment: Have to call next week. Complicated bc I am planning to switch practice from my last one AND will be switching insurance midway so I need to make sure they take both!
Any symptoms so far? Symptoms are what made me test! Boobs are fine this time around, had tons of pinching sensations I totally ignored; but felt super bloated, hungry but naesous, indigestion, exactly like last time. Oh and fatigue but not as bad as last time.
Who have you told so far? Just DH. I have no chill so both times I just run downstairs to show him the test haha. Going to tell my parents today and his family on Sunday since we happen to see all of them and it's Mother's Day! We told them early last time too.
I'm so excited! We weren't gonna try till Aug so this is a surprise!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Chillybear: I really hope this one stays Jan bc DD is already a Dec baby lol! But with our early EDDs it's so hard to tell! I was induced last time bc of GD so I'm hoping either way this one comes out in Jan lol

@nursemama: @ruby26: welcome!!
@snowjewelz: congrats! At least now you don't have the stress of TTC.
I successfully hid it from my family last night at a bachelorette party (I am dying to tell my Mom especially). Which are not near as much fun sober. On the way to the ILs but they will be easy to hide it. Will tell my parents and siblings Memorial Day when we are all together. I would tell them if I have a miscarriage, verses DH and I agree we wouldn't tell his side so we are waiting to tell them till I have an ultrasound.
I'm so so exhausted. I am going to pick up some unisom since I am having insomnia again(had it the 1st tri with my LO).

@simplyfelicity: hehe thank you! I love stalking too
@Smurfette: oh no, insomnia has got to be worse when you already have a kid!! I hope you get some rest! I attempted to take a 30 min nap today but DD won't let me!

First doctor appointment: I still need to set it up!
Any symptoms so far? Lots. Haha bloating, sore boobs, morning sickness (which is more like night sickness this time), fatigue, etc. It started at 4 weeks this time which is really early for me!
Who have you told? Just DH, our girls, and my family. We are really close with them, so I knew they'd know something was up with how sick I've been. So we told them yesterday when we were over for an early mothers day celebration.

@limabeanbabies: congrats! Sorry you are already sick. I didn't really have MS with my first. Once I felt a little sick when I got up, so I started eating two crackers before I got out of bed. As long as I kept something in my stomach I was fine.

@smurfette Thank you! I am trying to remember all my old tricks. Coconut water has been surprisingly helpful! And I have to eat something before I get out of bed each morning, too! I hope the unison helps you get some sleep.
