    I got to see my babes today! From here on out, I’ll get an ultrasound every 2 weeks, until I reach 34 weeks, then it will be weekly!

    We got a cute shot of Dex, but Evie wouldn’t show her face (per usual). They had their heads together again today!

    Had our anatomy scan today. All is well, she works 1 lb 1 oz, and was super wiggly the whole time. She does have a small EIF on her heart, but he said it's nothing to be concerned about though.

    I have my Mum's wedding to go to tomorrow and have to squeeze my giant butt into a wedding dress (dear god help me) so wish me luck!

    @Sams Mom: so sweet!

    @jaguar: Have a wonderful time - you will look gorgeous!!!

    You guys, I don't remember feeling this uncomfortable with DS until much closer to the end... I do remember sleep being pretty lousy at this point last time, which hasn't changed. 😆 Combined with the fact that it's the busiest time of year at work and I'm really struggling to keep up + some annoying problems that we're having with our contractor + impending items on my to-do list for the baby (mostly setting up childcare), I need a vacation (hah hah, but definitely not going to happen!)

    @periwinklebee: I’m sorry you are having a hard time. I’m feeling the same as you. Super uncomfortable, and I’m sleeping like total shit. I hope you figure out things with your contractor and settle daycare plans soon.

    I got a little work done on the babies’ nursery today, so I’m feeling a little more ready!

    Thanks guys! It was a beautiful day. Belly got a LOT of raised eyebrows hahaha

    We have done nothing in the nursery yet. Meep! Yours look fantastic hun!

    @Jessiemuller88: LOVE it so much - so gorgeous! The rug and art are amazing. @jaguar: I'm sure you are in better shape nursery wise than us, as 1.5 of the walls in our nursery are down to studs and the whole room is full of construction debris 😂 Not sure it will be finished before baby gets here, but the plan now is to have DS use the nursery furniture until the baby is ready to move out of the bassinet in any case. I did get my living room furnished and am so happy with how it turned out, so am ready to park myself on the couch for the non-stop cluster feeding!

    @jaguar: So glad you had a wonderful day!

    @Jessiemuller88: You are a rock star for carrying two of them - hang in there!

    clementine / 973 posts

    @jaguar: @periwinklebee: thanks ladies- after 5 losses, I really was kind of scared to decorate a nursery for these two. I have been kind of holding my breath for something to go wrong. Seeing it come together makes me feel a little more relaxed and hopeful about having healthy babies. I don’t know why, but it’s oddly comforting.

    @jaguar: I’m glad the wedding was beautiful! Did everyone try to touch the bump?

    @Jessiemuller88: I had a hard time with DS not feeling like I was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop (had a partial molar pregnancy and chemical first). I'm not a cryer, at all, but would just randomly burst into tears at the thought of something going wrong. I'm really glad that decorating has been comforting

    So we're down to 2 options for a middle name

    Hazel Kennedy

    or

    Hazel Kenna

    @Jessiemuller88: Love!!

    @Sams Mom: I like Kennedy, but both are cute!

    We still have NO NAME for baby brother. Naming our girls was a breeze. I'm starting to panic!

    I FINALLY got around to cleaning out the girls closets and barely just made some room for incoming things for baby brother. I have serious nesting urges, but no energy! I've also been on a home remodeling spree haha (small things).

    @graceandjoy: We have no name either, and I'm nearly 33 weeks, so don't feel bad! I figure putting off the name until the last minute may be a good way to ensure she comes a bit early, hah hah 😂

    @Sams Mom: I love both! Maybe a slight preference for how the three syllable name sounds, but think either is beautiful!

  17. graceandjoy

    pear / 1565 posts

    @periwinklebee: It's just so foreign; our girls names were literally picked before we even conceived them! I said the last last last resort name is going to be RJ (DH's name Jr).

    clementine / 973 posts

    @periwinklebee: thank you, and I’m sorry you know the feeling too. I wish I could just be naive about pregnancy!

    @Sams Mom: I like both, but I vote Hazel Kennedy too

    @graceandjoy: thank you! I’ve been doing the same things! Cleaning out closets and drawers and having serious nesting urges!! You will have a name by the time he’s born! Don’t panic!

    I love Hazel Kennedy!!

    As soon as December 1 hits, I'm ordering nursery furniture. Nothing like last minute!

    The belly got a LOT of love. I'm waiting on her pics and I'll upload one of the dress I managed to squeeze it into, hehe.

    31 weeks tomorrow, woot woot!

  20. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

    @jaguar: yay for 31 weeks!! I can’t wait to see pics of your dress! We are in the home stretch!

    Anyone else’s belly button doing weird things? I use to have mine pierced, like 12 years ago, and the skin around it is super red and swollen. It hurts to the touch!!!

  21. periwinklebee

    grapefruit / 4466 posts

    @Jessiemuller88: mine is definitely sticking out, but fortunately so far not painful...

    Had to make benefit elections for 2020. Which health plan makes the most sense in expectation completely depends on whether the baby comes in 2019 or 2020, which with my Dec 27 due date - and fact I went quite late last time - is a complete toss up. So I assumed she was going to be late and went for the pricier plan that will be cheaper if we have a hospital stay in 2020... Between our house being torn up and behind schedule, not having a name, and now this, I think I'm really stacking the cards in favor of her coming early 😂

    @Jessiemuller88: Is it also warm and or draining anything? Sounds infected possibly. $0.02

  23. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

    @yellowbeach: it is warm, but it’s not draining. I think it’s just so stretched, it’s super irritated. How are you feeling?

    @periwinklebee: Uggh this stuff is so hard to predict! My 1/5 due date came 12/20...

    First things first... baby! CHEEKS. Giant smoosh!

  26. periwinklebee

    @jaguar: awwww

    @graceandjoy: I'm assuming that the only constant is that she'll manage to come at the most inconvenient possible time, and as long as I get my baby in the end, in the grand scheme of things it won't end up mattering a bit... My biggest concern is finding someone to watch DS, given the holiday due date (so many people out of town) and no family near by. MIL will come right before the due date but of course there's a decent chance the baby will arrive before then. I had a very fast birth with DS and have half resigned myself that there's a decent chance I will have to give birth without DH if we have to bring DS to the hospital and DH is in the waiting room trying to hunt down a babysitter....

    I feel like I've entered the phase where I JUST WANT THIS BABY OUT, which is not great as there's still aways to go. I spent an hour puking at 2am last night from acid reflux (prevacid doesn't seem to do anything), last night I had to spend three hours on my feet at a work event, which was soooo uncomfortable, and the usual struggles to fall asleep given baby hiccups, lightening crotch, reflux, the whole lovely menu of symptoms that I'm sure we're all familiar with... And I'm so tired of braxton hicks already!

  27. graceandjoy

    pear / 1565 posts

    @periwinklebee: I totally feel you! I do agree that at the end of the day, as long as there are no complications and the baby comes out, I am good, lol. DH was there for my 2nd birth but I kicked him out to go home so he could wake up with my 1st. Then I pretty much had no visitors since DD2 was in NICU while we were at the hospital.

    I kept saying I want my 3rd to be fast labor/delivery, but not TOO fast b/c I need my epidural still. Hah!

    @periwinklebee: So many flipping BH contractions here too. It's insane!

    @graceandjoy: I'm the same - fast but not tooooooo fast

    @Jessiemuller88: I make chunky babes!

    @jaguar: You (and your family!) are gorgeous!!! Looks like a wonderful day!

    Ugh, braxton hicks, another thing that supposedly gets worse and worse with each pregnancy I'm so tired... This whole working/parenting/pregnancy juggle feels like it has sapped every ounce of energy I can muster. Don't know how some of you do it with multiple LOs at home (or growing multiple babies!)

    @periwinklebee: I’m right there with you. I’m exhausted and miserable. I pray my doctor will put me on bed rest, but she says working will keep me strong and from getting blood clots 😩

    @Jessiemuller88: Ugh, being on your feet all day with a large group of five year olds sounds super rough! Hang in there - I know it feels like forever but we are getting close!

  37. Jessiemuller88

    clementine / 973 posts

    @periwinklebee: it is pretty rough to be honest. I love them to death, but they are wearing me out lately. I’m trying to maintain my energy and patience, but it’s getting harder and harder!! We are close though. Only 7 weeks to go!!

    So before bed my son started bawling out of nowhere. I asked him what was wrong and he told me he didn't want to move. I told him we weren't moving, so it's ok. He actually thought he had to move out when his sister is born. 😭😭😭

    @Sams Mom: awwwww buddy! That’s pretty sad. No telling what goes on in their innocent minds.

    @Jessiemuller88: I was a hot mess once I realized what he thought. I told him he doesn't have to go anywhere, we have room for everyone. I have no idea where it came from, but I just feel terrible because he was so upset about it.
