So I bought a fetal doppler and used it tonight. I was able to find the heartbeat with some work. It was nice to hear though I wouldn't use it to try to measure bpm. I am 9 weeks 3 days according to lmp. But I was told I was measuring ahead when i got my ultrasound. I guess we'll see. I didn't ask for crl so i'm not sure what the sonographer saw.

@mrsvdv: @QBbride: @sugarbee: So great to see your little baby beans!

@FannyMae: Continuing to send positive thoughts your way. I hope that Monday is here in the blink of an eye for you. And that the Zofran continues to help

@mrsvdv: Trying not to worry and focusing on the baby is a good plan If you are concerned about it, just try to ask about it each time you get an ultrasound so you can know if it's shrinking, or still nothing to worry about. I had a SCH during my first pregnancy and I remember asking about it every time I had an ultrasound.

@travelgirl1: I REALLY hope that your LO is well soon and that her stomach bug didn't pass on to you!

@Candy_nee: Oh man, mornings like that are so hard. You did your best! That's all you can do! And I second, third, however many people have said YES to the bella band. Actually, thanks for the reminder to fish mine out of my maternity clothes!

@Mrs. Pickles: @MamaCate: Hope you have great ultrasounds!!!

It's been a rough nausea week for me. So many things seem to trigger my stomach. If I move too fast, I feel nauseous. If I smell my son's dirty diaper - nauseous. If I don't eat often enough, bleh. I really don't want to deal with this for several more weeks. But I know I was in this fog until about 15 weeks for my first pregnancy. Which means...5 more weeks to go. Here's to an icky holiday...or maybe a holiday of stuffing my face, not moving too fast, and not changing any dirty diapers. Wait...that actually sounds good

My appt is not until this afternoon so I am trying to stay positive but I am nervous. Fingers crossed for me please!

    @Mrs. Pickles: hi sweet baby!
@MamaCate: can't wait to hear how your appt goes!

For you second time mommas - are you finding yourself being more relaxed with this pregnancy? Like I'm seriously craving a turkey sub and will probably allow myself one. My last pregnancy there was no way I would have done that!

wow these ultrasounds are amazing! Wish my OB had 4D one in his office hehe thats awesome. love the little arms and legs are visible!!

@sweetooth: thank you, i'm heading to my 2nd blood test this morning (once i get out of my crummy pj's). the zofran is working for the nausea but its causing chaos at the other end I was balled up on the couch for 5 hours with horrendous stomach pains yesterday, thinking I was going to have the runs (SORRRRY TMI i know!). 5 hours of nothing, I ended up having a very slight amount of light pink spotting (only once) so I had an absolute heart attack (probably from straining). Had a nice hot shower to calm my achey body down, and then pains seemed to dissipate.... this morning theyre slightly back but I'm guessing its trapped gas & constipation. damn you zofran you double edged sword!!

I'm finally joining, after seeing the baby's heartbeat today in an emergency ultrasound. I have a previous loss, so I was scared to join before then, although I've been reading along for quite some time

    Location: NJ

EDD: July 31, although I will have a medically necessary csection approx a week before that.

How far along: 7 weeks today

First child? 2nd child, 3rd pregnancy

First doctor appointment: I had my first appt last week, first u/s today, and 1st maternal fetal medicine appt is next Wednesday.

Any symptoms so far? Tons of nausea. Seriously, tons. Also some lightheadedness.

Who have you told? My parents and a few close friends.

Baby is measuring right at 7w, with a hb of 126. They did find a subchorionic hemorrhage though, and while my ob insists they're fairly common, I'm really freaking scared. He said I may spot because of it, but not to be alarmed (is that even possible?!?) and that it "should" go away on its own.

Hope everyone is doing well - this is a big group!

@candy_nee: No that picture isn't from my doppler, that's from my ultrasound. I wish I could see gummy bear at home that would be awesome.

Thanks everyone that is by far my favorite pic, I think its so cute.

My next appointment isn't until Jan 6. I don't know how I'm going to make it, I'm so worried all the time, that's why I got the doppler.

    How is everyone else doing?

Oh my this thread moves quick!

I had my first appointment and oh how things have changed since my first pregnancy - 2013! I got an ultrasound which I totally wasn't expecting, but was very reassuring. My midwife said she does them now at the first visit.

She mentioned a new early blood test they do that tests the baby's DNA for any chromosomal issues and it also tells gender. It's so crazy how things are always changing!!

@FannyMae: I'm so freaked out, it's unbelievable. My doctor didn't seem all that concerned however. Did they say how big yours is?

@Chocoholic: totally agree. I had my son in 2013 and things are so different now! We are taking that gender blood test on dec 30!! It's crazy that you can know so early!

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm so tired. I even had two days off from work this week. Truthfully, the days I stay in bed I feel worse but I can't seem to use that logic to get me going. Husband finally realized the house wasn't going to clean itself and is taking drastic measures to clean up. That is a relief because I can't being myself to do more than get through the day. Feeling so lazy.

@Chocoholic: I haven't had my first appt yet but when I told my dr I was TTC she told me about the first appt ultrasound and I was so surprised - I had to wait until 18 weeks with my first in 2011! I haven't heard anything about that blood test yet but that's nuts (and exciting)!

@cvbee: Oh I'm there with you! Swept the living room and did some very light picking up today and then told DH I needed a breather. There's so much to do before Christmas and I just want to curl up on the couch and have someone bring me food.

@ValentineMommy: he didn't say how big it was, but to me it looked like it was about half the size of the sac. what I thought was an 8 week pregnancy shows a baby that is only 6 weeks along, so I'm not sure how big that measures in inches/cm. he just said to me that because of the size difference/bleed there may be a higher chance of miscarriage, but I know that they are fairly common occurances.
