@angelchase: Yay! Nice pic and glad everything went well. Did they make a guess at the sex. I have my nt scan on Tuesday.

@sugarbee: No, they wouldn't even attempt. Plus, we are undecided on finding out! DH really really wants to stay Team Green, but I really really want to know.

Anyone else with an upcoming ultrasound? Mine isn't until Friday.
pomegranate / 3595 posts
@simplyfelicity: My next appt is Friday but I don't know if they will do an ultrasound again. It is my 12 week (but I will be 13 wks) appt. At 12 weeks the last times, they usually just try to listen to the heartbeat with the Doppler.
Both of the last two times they didn't find it so they got the ultrasound. First time everything was fine and they decided it was anterior placenta, second time was my loss. So I am a little nervous but DH is able to come so I am really excited about that. He came the first time so he will be my good luck charm.

@simplyfelicity: I have my nt scan on 1/13. But I see my ob next Friday. He'll probably do the Doppler for heartbeat check then.

@simplyfelicity: I won't have an u/s until my anatomy u/s! If I hadn't requested a dating u/s my anatomy u/s would be my only one!
My next midwife appt is on Jan 7 (Wed)! I cannot wait. I've only had 1 appt since getting pregnant and it was too early to use the Doppler!

@simplyfelicity: My next u/s isn't until 1/14 when I will be 13 weeks and I can't wait because after that we plan to start telling friends and extended family.
My nausea has subsided but it has been replaced by so much bloating and gas! I am constantly uncomfortable and now burp multiple times a day. I joke with DH about how attractive I am at this stage. It is going to be a problem when I go back to work next week. Anyone else experiencing this?

@simplyfelicity: Mine is on Tuesday. I hope they will make a guess at the sex, but I know there is a good chance they wont.

@angelachase: Yayy so cute!!
So, since I had the cell-free DNA, and my doc told me that meant I didn't need the sequential screening...I guess that means no 12 week u/s??? Waaah! I just realized that this morning.

@angelachase: Ahh! Congrats.
I have my first u/s first thing tomorrow morning. So anxious!

@ValentineMommy: stalker outed here but I think you should still get the 12 week NT because there are things it screens for that the blood work can't even the new kind. I would ask or make a fuss, I got both!
@Tidybee: happy second trimester doll!! Makes me so happy to see things going so well for you!

@Tidybee: Yay! Doesn't the second tri feel good?!?! Never thought I would see the end of the first.
@ValentineMommy: We decided to not do the NT scan but our OB let us get the ultrasound anyway.

Hi everyone! I've been mia for a loooong time, it's going to take me a while to catch up! I hope everyone is doing great and growing nicely! We're getting ready for our 12 week u/s next Monday and I'm very nervous about it. I've been struggling with stress and anxiety the last couple of weeks and I can't wait to see baby again and know he/she is all right.

@cait: yay exciting!! Good luck!
@Tidybee: hooooray second trimester!
I am 11 wks on Wednesday. See OB on Friday, nt scan next wk!
Thankfully the gi bug only lasted a day. But I am still in the thick of MS. I am def paying for all the worry about ms being hit or miss in the early weeks. When did ms ease up for you ladies in the early part of the month? I've had it since about six weeks and I'm hoping to see the end soon....

@angelachase: perfect little scan! What a cute little Bebe!!
My next MW appt is Jan 20th will my next ultrasound (around 17 weeks) be my anatomy scan or do I have to wait until 20 weeks?
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
@Reese: the way my monthly appts fall my as will probably be done at 19 weeks. It was the same w ds too. I'd request it for then, but they might push until 21 weeks. (Assuming u see them every four weeks)

@cait: good luck tomorrow! Looking forward to an update and sending good wishes!

Hi! I'm joining you pretty late... I wanted to be out of first trimester before jumping in. This pregnancy is so different from my first, it took me a while to believe it's going ok.
Hope everyone is feeling a bit better by now!
I'm due around 7/17, and going in for the NT scan on Wednesday. So nervous!

@Mama Bird: welcome!
@cait: good luck tomorrow!
I can definitely feel baby moving tonight! I swear I felt it just before 11 weeks but then I thought I was crazy. I had an anterior placenta with my son, so I didn't feel him until 19 weeks.
pomegranate / 3595 posts
@QBbride: I am so glad you posted this--Iwas trying to remember if it was you who felt movement. There were a few times over the weekend I thought I felt things but I just turned 12 weeks. How low in your abdomen is the feeling?
apricot / 306 posts
@QBbride: @MamaCate: I am glad you are posting this too! I could swear I've occasionally been feeling baby move since the very end of 11 weeks (I'm 13 weeks today). I sometimes have a feeling like a tiny muscle spasm, or I described it to my husband as like, a quivering or wiggling feeling, in my low abdomen. It definitely does not feel like digestion and I just don't know what else it could be!

@Mama Bird: Welcome and congrats!
@QBbride: @MamaCate: @angelachase: I can't WAIT to feel movement!

Hey July mamas! Happy New Year! I'm just popping in to say hello. It's been a rough few weeks for me. I became very sick over the holidays. Spent Christmas eve in urgent care and Christmas day in bed. My cold-like symptoms turned into bronchitis and there's not a whole lot you can take for that when you're pregnant. Between the coughing, the heaving from nausea, the sneezing and nose-blowing, my ribs are now injured. I have another follow-up appt with my doctor tomorrow. I really hope there's something they can do for me. I'm so sick of being sick on top of first-trimester sickness.
Sorry to whine. I know we all have things to deal with. It's kind of why I stayed away from the boards for a bit. But I missed connecting with you all.
Good news is, I had my 1st tri screening last week and the baby looks great. I was so worried that I coughed the baby into a million pieces. Irrational, I know, but my coughing has been violent. And relentless.
Hoping SO hard that I'm near the end of my morning sickness/nausea. And I'm also in shock that it's 2015 and we are having babies in 6 months!!! That's going to FLY by!

@MrsH: Have you been able to kick the bronchitis? I've been battling it for weeks now and I'd love to hear that you feel better now. It would give me hope that there's a light at the end of this tunnel.
