@fuzzypeaches: I updated it! Sorry you still aren't feeling well. I still throw up if I overeat but I am like 80% normal in that department. Are you on any medications? I got diceglis and it really helped.
clementine / 950 posts
@simplyfelicity: yes I'm on diclegis and zofran too! Worst! The only thing that helps is crackers lol.
Is your nausea a lot better??
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@fuzzypeaches: So much better. I assumed I would be back to normal at 12 weeks (haha, no) and now at 15, it is pretty much gone. I sometimes feel sick at night but I throw up and its over, it's not the agonizing stomach ache anymore. I started having some good days and then some bad days and, after a while, I was having more good than bad. I still take diceglis because I am afraid of getting sick in the mornings again. Hope you feel better soon!

@simplyfelicity: congrats on the 15 week Mark! I'm there tomorrow!
I posted our announcement on Instagram today - for some reason it makes me so nervous. Even though most people know - I feel so much more exposed!
I'm having a tough time connecting as well, it's nice to read so many others feeling the same way.

@fuzzypeaches: wee aren't doing a baby on, per se, but we are going on a family vaca to the beach in June! I can't wait! I'm 11w on Friday and still feeling sick 24/7. I'm praying it goes away in a week or two. I'm sorry you're still feeling sick too!

@Reese: I just announced today too! Agh!
@ValentineMommy: I can't decide what to do! I think I might still do Indonesia but just be careful hahahaha. We love to travel (also weirdly, from here Indonesia is not as expensive as the more typical places. But obvs first world problems

@sweetooth: @cait: @mrsjyw: thanks!
Had the NT scan today. Baby was moving around, and I didn't get a good picture, but seeing those little arms and legs waiving waving was just cuteness overload!
DH and DS have been arguing for weeks... DH says "you're having a little brother, right?" DS grins from ear to ear and says "sister!," and DH looks all crestfallen. Well, the ultrasound tech thinks she's a girl!!! I'm so very happy! I'm a little at a loss how to reassure DH though... for some reason he thinks raising girls is way harder!
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@Mama Bird: Wow Congrats!! You are so lucky the tech told you!! I asked and she wouldn't even take a guess!! Our little bean was moving around like crazy too and it was hard for them to get pictures (took forever) but seeing it jump around was such an amazing experience
clementine / 950 posts
@Mama Bird: oh wow! That's amazing she was able to tell! Do you have a feeling girl/boy?
My Dh is the same and for some reason is terrified of having a girl because he thinks they are too hard lol.

@Mama Bird: how old is your DS? Do you think he understands there's a baby in there ? That's so cute!

I wish the tech would have taken a look to guess, but she wouldn't look. She just said based on behavior, that baby was being lazy, she'd say boy lol.

@sugarbee: that's hilarious! Such a great pic! They look like babies now!

I have a horrible headache so I can't do individual replies! Congrats on the amazing u/s's! I had my midwife appt today and it went really well. Baby's heart rate was 160 and it was kicking and moving like crazy. My midwife said it is a busy one (oh no!). She wasn't surprised I was feeling movement already!
clementine / 950 posts
@QBbride: it's amazing you are feeling movement already! I felt it early last time but so far nada . Maybe placenta placement!
Maybe busy means another boy ?!
pomegranate / 3192 posts
@fuzzypeaches: yeah, I had an anterior placenta last time and didn't feel movement till 19 weeks. So my placenta must not be anterior again! I'm going back and forth on the girl/boy debate! We'll see...
Sorry you are still feeling sick when did it let up for you last time?
pomegranate / 3127 posts
@Reese: @fuzzypeaches: yeah it's still so early they usually can't tell, but this tech is really experienced. She said it's only a guess of course, but I think she's right. I'm a total case of old wives tales - no glow, pimples, craving sweets, carrying higher than first time...
@fuzzypeaches: he's two and a little bit. I think he's a little confused, because once in a while he'll point at his tummy and ask "baby?" but he does sort of get it!
@sugarbee: hahaha that's possible! Cute picture!
@QBbride: Yay for a good appointment, and hope you're feeling better!

@fuzzypeaches: That sounds amazing!
@Mama Bird: That's awesome your tech was able to tell you!!!

I'm 13w 3 days and have been feeling better since about Saturday. I'm definitely fatter around the middle and have a slow GI tract, leading to gas and bloating.
But the feeling better makes me worried that something is wrong. I don't think I want to tell anyone else (have told immediate family, best friends, babysitter and my boss) until my next appointment. My next appointment isn't for two weeks.
I'm definitely not feeling 'connected' yet, but I don't think I felt connected until movement (which was late due to anterior placenta) and gender scan ultrasound last time, so I'm not so worried about that. I just am worried about not knowing that everything is okay, even though I have no signs of anything going wrong. I guess that's how early pregnancy goes.

@Mama Bird: so glad the scan went well. Are you excited about a girl? Funny about your DS too. We haven't told my DD yet but she keeps telling me she has baby sister in her belly! This seems related to her good school friend whose mom just had twins!

@cvbee: glad you are feeling better but I hear you about it being a double edge sword. Movement helped me feel better last time so I hope that is coming soon for you. It is hard not knowing what is happening but I am trying to trust that all is well...easier said than done!
clementine / 950 posts
@QBbride: I think it was around 16/17 weeks? Bah.
@cvbee: I think it's totally how early pregnancy goes! And I realized it never ends haha. I still worry so much about the little guy!
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@cvbee: It's hard because the morning sickness is so reassuring (even though it sucks!) but is makes sense that you would start feeling better because the placenta is taking over.
@Mama Bird: I added a next to your name, if it changes at any point just let me know!
@fuzzypeaches: @MamaCate: It is so hard not to worry. My next ultrasound is tomorrow and, while I am not a wreck like my first ultrasound, I am nervous. We hope to find out the gender but, more than anything, I just want to know that baby is doing ok.

@cvbee: try not to worry! You're totally supposed to feel better by 13 weeks!
@MamaCate: Yes, I'm so excited! I've been struggling with not feeling connected like so many of us, and somehow this made it click. Funny how our kids think the baby is in their tummy!

@sweetooth: I'm still sick but I feel better than I did. Hopefully that gives you hope I'm on my third type of inhaler, I took a zpak last week, and I finally feel like it is starting to go away. It has been 6 weeks since it started

@simplyfelicity: I hear ya. Even though I felt really strongly that everything was okay, I was definitely up half the night before and shook all morning. It didn't help that we were going back to the place we found out about m/c 2.
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Tidybee: I know the chance of miscarriage is low because I am 15 weeks but I haven't seen the baby since 9 weeks. My mom said she never had an ultrasound.. maybe ignorance is bliss?

Had my monthly appt! Almost flipped out when Ob couldn't find hb w Doppler, only tried for a minute tho and said he'd scan me instead. He apparently doesn't have patience for trying w a Doppler. Thankfully Baby looks good and I just heard the hb myself w my home Doppler.
Go back Tuesday to the hospital for our nt scan and then another checkup in four weeks!

@simplyfelicity: good luck today!
@mrsjyw: that must have been so freaky! I have a doppler at home and everytime I can't find it I freak out. I've been late many times for work trying to hear if before I leave haha
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
@fuzzypeaches: yah he scanned me dry wo the doppler gel, for like thirty seconds then said lets just scan u instead! Got to see baby which was a nice surprise found hb right away at home w gel!

@Mama Bird: I still can't believe you know already!! I'm dyinggggggg to know and won't until my anatomy scan gah
I'm obsessing over girl nurseries and things but I don't have a feeling either way really. I'm almost thinking of going to those private us places to find out earlier! But I know that's crazy
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@fuzzypeaches: I'm on the crazy train with you! I already called around (out of curiosity ) and the earliest place I could find would do it at 17 and a half weeks. I'm 15+2 today
pomegranate / 3127 posts
@mrsjyw: I'm glad everything looks good and you got to see baby! My OB is so impatient too... lately my visits have been under 5 min not counting the sonogram and wait time (it's two and a half hours with all that!)
