@simplyfelicity: @travelgirl1: thanks girls, I will try to step away from the pee sticks but no promises

@fuzzypeaches: it's bad! I'm such a worrier but pregnancy makes it 100x times worse for me. I only took 3 tests with my DS though, so I don't know why I'm so obsessed with peeing on sticks this time around.

@NurseDMB: The lines definitely look like they are getting darker to me!
Anyone having crampy boobs???
Also, I didn't get really nauseous today - I know I should be happy but it is also concerning me that something is wrong

@Reese: My boobs are killing me. I've been having to sleep with a bra on.
I POAS just for the heck if it today (5wks on the dot) and the line was so dark it didn't leave much for the control line. That was kinda fun to see!

@angelachase: haha makes me want to
POAS too!! I have 1 left so maybe I will

@angelachase: That's what mine looked like at 5 weeks! The control line was a total squinter. Isn't is reassuring? Lovely line, lady!

@Reese: It's hard not to worry but symptoms come and go. Maybe your body is just giving you a break.

Just for funsies, here is mine back at 5w3d. I thought I had shared it on here, but guess I didnt.

You guys - don't laugh but I freaked out last week when I took a FRER and it looked like @simplyfelicity 's - I thought it meant I was LESS pregnant. Whoops.
I feel like I missed so much over the weekend!
My u/s on Friday (4w5d) went really well! We even saw the fetal pole! We weren't able to see a heartbeat yet but the tech said she didn't expect to. I have another scheduled for the 21st but they told me if I got nervous about anything I could go back this Friday. The nausea and exhaustion hit me like whoa. My 2yo and I spent a lot of time reading books and watching movies.

@Reese: don't worry! I remember with my son a lot of symptoms coming and going.
apricot / 324 posts
@NurseDMB: I obsessively took tests and was freaking out that they weren't getting as dark as they did the first go around. I waited a few days and took more FRER (one in the evening after drinking what feels like 2 gallons of water) and one in the morning with FMU. They were much darker. Maybe just give it a few days? But, trust me, I COMPLETELY understand the need for those bad boys to get darker!
@Reese - my symptoms come and go as well and it always freaks me out. I never got sick with DS and I barely have this time either. It's always so scary. I just relish those days that I do have more than one symptom.
OMG does anyone else feel like their body has turned into the Saraha desert?! I can NOT drink enough water and my nose is so so so dry. This happened my last pregnancy too. It's the weirdest thing ever. Also, the exhaustion is REAL. I am so so tired all the time. I fell asleep at a concert last week!!

How's everyone feeling?
Just tired over here (going to bed between 830-9!) and waking up insanely early. My son is up every morning between 6-630 but this morning I woke up wide awake at 4 and couldn't fall back asleep.
I also am getting random nausea off and on but not enough to throw up. It's worse if I don't eat anything.
I'm getting blood work done this afternoon to get my progesterone levels checked. My levels were low with my pregnancy with DS, so I need to see if I have to go back on progesterone suppositories again. Then this Friday I have my first appt, but it's basically just a nurse visit/intake appt.

@Candy_nee: Thanks! I think I'm going to wait until Wednesday morning and test again. I did take a digital today which said pregnant so that was reassuring. I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed this time, with my son I took only 3 tests and stopped, but my lines with him were much darker early on. I know I'm only 12dpo right now so I just need to try and relax!

Does the clean cut guy near me on the train smell as weird and off-putting as I think he does or am I developing a super sensitive pregnancy nose?
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@angelachase: Probably super sensitive pregnancy nose! DH and I went into our favorite cheese shop and it smelled like moldy, rotten, feet!
@NurseDMB: I, too, fall asleep so early but wake up and can't go back to sleep. Hope all your appointments go well! Maybe you won't feel the need to POAS if your numbers are really good.
@littlebittyhouse: If I had accidentally flipped it over, I would have been freaked out!

@angelachase: definitely pregnancy hormones! I remember with my son when I was about 6 weeks pregnant, DH and I went on our belated honeymoon, and in the airport I could smell everyone's feet in the security line. Lol, so gross.
apricot / 324 posts
@angelachase: Definitely pregnancy nose. This morning I put on my perfume, that I've been wearing for years, and it smelled totally different. So weird!

Well ladies, I'm afraid it's not looking good for this baby. HCG was drawn yesterday, my level is only 22 at 12dpo. The nurse said it's either because its way too early or it's a chemical pregnancy. They want me to go in for repeat labs next week but I'm not feeling too optimistic at this point.
apricot / 324 posts
@NurseDMB: Sending you all sorts of luck that it's just way too early!
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@NurseDMB: I believe that Tidybee was only at 16 or so at 12dpo. I could be wrong but I believe it's really close! It could still be ok. did you confirm O?

@nicole112: hello due date twin!
@NurseDMB: crossing my fingers for you. when do you go back?
anyone else have nausea that comes and goes? sat/sun/mon i felt pretty awful but today is better....
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@littlebittyhouse: Same here! Well, it's *less* awful today.
I really want a bagel.
pear / 1570 posts
@simplyfelicity: yes! less awful as in i just feel gross instead of wanting to vom and i am hungier today.
apricot / 324 posts
@littlebittyhouse: Yes! Most days I'm fine, some days (like today) I just feel sort of off, and some days I feel like everything I eat will just come back up. Luckily nothing has. Yet.
apricot / 306 posts
I've got no nausea to speak of yet, which is sort of a relief but I also sort of wish it would start. But, I'm only 5W2D, so I think it's pretty early still. Pregnancy nose is no joke, though--I keep catching the most random, gross whiffs of things. It's lunchtime in my office and I can smell people microwaving their food from all the way across the office.

@Candy_nee: @simplyfelicity: @littlebittyhouse: @angelachase: @travelgirl1: Thank you ladies. I wasn't charting or temping this cycle but just using OPKs. My first positive OPK was on oct 28th and I thought I ovulated the next day because of cramping, but I know you really can't know for sure unless you're temping. I go back next week to check my levels again, so I'm cautiously optimistic but still prepared that this wont be a viable pregnancy.
nectarine / 2834 posts
@NurseDMB: I was 17 at what I think was 12 dpo (it was possibly 11dpo). My hcg is still on the lower end but it's doubling every 28 hours so my doctor seemed pleased. That week in between draws is the worst!
nectarine / 2834 posts
I am trying not to panic over my lack of symptoms and just be grateful. But it's so hard!

@Tidybee: I didn't expect to feel like this so early. with my ds everything was pretty easy peasy.
kiwi / 643 posts
@Tidybee: That's great that your levels are doubling! I will
hope for the same when I go back next week.

For those of you pregnant with your second - are you finding that the major bloat has set in earlier this go around? My pants are already getting tight and I'm only 5w3d!
